[Carmen]Rock had kept his secret for a long time. I held my drink out to Rani and she accepted it quietly. I turned to Rock and took his hands, drawing his attention back to me. Sliding my arms around his waist, I held him close to me. He hated when people he knew in his human life found out what he was. Rock didn’t tell them often. Some only knew he was a supernatural of some sort. Telling two humans wasn’t something he really wanted to do. It was probably the only way he saw to get them to drop it. I turned around to face the women. Rock’s arms stayed around me. I was his touchstone, the thing that kept him grounded. He was that for me, too. Pushing out my magic, I could see their faces. One of the women was more reserved looking. I was guessing that was Samantha, because the other looked like she had just been slapped in the face. That had to be Michelle. “This doesn’t mean Rock is anyone other than the person you’ve known for two decades. I’m going to be around for a very long time. Rock is my fated mate and I will never leave him. I don’t care about his money, because he is what I want. You must understand, Michelle,” I said, pretending I didn’t know she had feelings for my mate. It was strange to think of someone with a mate having a crush on someone else, but humans weren’t the same as werewolves. Obviously, she wasn’t going to do anything about it, but it still couldn’t be comfortable for her mate to be around. There was no way he didn’t realize how she felt about Rock. “You’re all in a corner away from everyone else. What’s going on over here?” The scent of coyote approached. I was familiar with it, because we had some coyotes and coywolves in the pack. I was a little surprised Michelle was more focused on the fact that Rock was a troll than the fact that we were mated. It should have all made sense. Maybe her mate hadn’t told her Rock was supernatural. It made sense if he didn’t feel like it was important for her to know. Some people didn’t feel like the status of other supernaturals was important enough to tell their human mates about. Others felt the need to tell their human mates everything. “Rock was just telling your mate that he was a troll and we’re fated mates. It seems like she’s shocked. Didn’t you tell her he was supernatural?” I asked. Suddenly, Rock squeezed me tightly. I pulled at his arms a little. He was squishing me too much. “Mate? I don’t understand what you’re talking about. You mean my wife? I’m sorry, Michelle, I have known for a while that Rock was some sort of supernatural, but never told you. I didn’t think it was important,” Chuck said. Rani started laughing uncontrollably. The realization took a little longer than I wanted to admit. He didn’t tell her he was a shapeshifter. Michelle had no idea she was married to and had children with a werecoyote. I tried not to look surprised. I couldn’t blame Chuck for keeping his identity a secret from Michelle. It wasn’t easy to tell humans that you were a supernatural creature. Especially not one who you loved. The odds of a human mate rejecting a shapeshifter was much higher than a shifter mate rejecting them. He did what he needed to do in order to make sure his mate accepted him. “Sorry, I was raised with other werewolves. I mix up the human words sometimes,” I replied, trying to cover my mistake. Rock’s grip on me loosened. I was grateful to know he had my back. He was trying to stop me from saying anything more after I messed up. It would have been better if he had told me Chuck was hiding that from his mate. “I don’t understand,” Michelle whispered. “We have supernaturals in my company. I get it. They’ve explained how fated mates work. It’s like soulmates, Michelle, but more intense. She’ll never hurt Rock and Rock will never hurt her,” Samantha told her. “A troll? A monster?” Michelle murmured. “Don’t call him a monster, sweetheart. He’s been a friendly rival of ours for years. Rock’s practically a friend. That’s why you were trying to protect him,” Chuck said. “I’m the one who called me a monster,” Rock answered. “He got a little carried away when he was trying to tell her what he was,” I added. “Come on, sweetheart, let’s go home. I can talk you through anything you need. A lot of the guys who work for the company are supernaturals. I can answer anything you need to know,” Chuck told his wife in a soothing voice. “O-okay....” I heard them leave without saying goodbye. I understood, though. Both of them were dealing with something they might not have dealt with if not for this situation. He might be able to talk to her without revealing what he was. I prayed to the goddess that he would manage it. I hadn’t meant to accidentally out him. “We should head out, too,” Rock said. “I think you’ve had enough excitement for one night. We’ll see you later, Rani. Samantha, I hope you can keep this between us as much as possible.” “Sure. I’ll probably tell Dean, but we can keep it quiet. I know there are other supernaturals who own companies around here, but most of you want to keep your identities quiet.” “Thank you,” he told her. Rock took my arm and led me off. I held on to him as we exited the building. I knew we were out when the temperature cooled and the scent of human and supernatural bodies was replaced by fresh air. I was embarrassed I had gotten us into that situation. My head lowered as we walked to the truck. Rock felt the need to out himself to protect me because I went along with Rani’s idea instead of refusing. It was entirely my fault. I didn’t have to follow her. We stopped and Rock grabbed my shoulders. He pushed my back against the truck and pulled my lowered chin up. A tear rolled from my eye. I disappointed him. “No tears, Carmen. I didn’t want to reveal that, but it was better than having her try to upset our relationship because of some theory that you’re using me. I just wanted to make sure we didn’t out Chuck. That’s his business, not ours,” Rock told me. “Are you mad at me?” I asked. “I can feel that you’re angry in our bond.” “No. I’m angry about the situation. You and Rani should have dropped it, though. There was no reason to go after her. I know you wouldn’t have done it without encouragement. You’re both at fault for that, but I don’t mind outing myself. If it keeps you safe and happy, I would tell the whole world.” Even if he wasn’t mad at me, I had created the situation that upset him. I felt a lot of guilt over that. Rock sighed and pulled me close. “Stop crying. That’s cheating. You don’t get to cry whenever I’m mad,” he whispered. “I don’t like when you’re mad,” I murmured into his chest.“And you think crying is the way to make me less mad?” That definitely wasn’t the way to make him less mad, but I knew what would. I slid my hands down to his pants and unzipped them. Slipping a hand inside, I stroked him, feeling his softened member begin to firm in my hand. Rock groaned quietly as my hand moved up and down. “Is this your way of making up for it?” he asked, his voice husky with desire. “I’ll do anything to make it up to you,” I whispered, before going down and taking him into my mouth. Rock’s fingers tangled in my hair as I began to move my mouth up and down on him, taking him deeper and deeper with each pass. I could feel his arousal growing as his hands tightened their grip on my hair. As I continued to pleasure him, I started massaging his balls. Rock grunted and used my hair to guide me in the way he wanted me to move. We were in a public parking lot, but I didn’t care if anyone saw us. He let go of my hair and I heard him grip the side of the truck. His body pressed mine back against the vehicle. His hips moved, pumping into my mouth and throat as I worked to keep up. “Fuсk,” Rock growled, his voice low and husky. “You’re going to make me сum!”The warning was all I needed to move faster. I made sure to do all the things he liked as I worked toward his end. Within a few seconds, Rock let out a low moan and I felt the warmth of his seed travel down the back of my throat.I swallowed as I finished bringing him to completion. Rock sighed as I released him from my mouth, and reached down to pull me up, but he didn’t stop once I had gotten to my feet. He picked me up and turned me around to drape me over the side of the truck bed. I gripped it as he pulled off my panties and slid his fingers over my lower lips, spreading them and finding my clit. He circled it for a few moments before moving his fingers to my opening and groaning at my wetness. His fingers slid inside of me and it was my turn to groan. It was hard to focus on two things at once. I was trying to hold on to the side of the truck while he fuсked me with his fingers. “You’re a naughty little wolf, aren’t you, Carmen?” Rock murmured into my ear as his fingers slid in and out of me. With a whimper, I shook my head. I wasn’t naughty. I was a very good little wolf. I did everything my mate wanted to do and I always tried to make things right when I was in the wrong. “Oh? You’re a good little wolf? Then you’ll stay quiet while I fuсk you in this parking lot. I’m going to pull up your skirt and I want you to brace your knees against the side of the truck, sticking your ass out,” he whispered. I felt the cloth move and I braced my knees against the truck the way he said. It actually eased the strain on my arms, but left me feeling very exposed. Rock flipped the back of my dress over my shoulder. His hand slid over my bare ass. He put his hands on my hips and I could feel the head of his cоck at my opening. He slid inside of me and groaned, burying himself deep and then pulling back. Rock pulled out until only the tip was left and then slammed back into me.A squeak escaped me and he paused for a few moments. I felt a piece of cloth press against my mouth. It was Rock’s tie. “Open,” he ordered. I did as he said and he put it in my mouth before tying it behind my head. Once it was tied, he moved his hands down and started massaging my breasts before he began moving in me again. I grunted with effort as I hung on the side of the truck. “Goddess, you’re so tight, Carmen. Stay quiet and I’ll give you exactly what you want, little wolf.” Rock didn’t have to tell me twice. I tried to keep my noises to a minimum. I felt my body begin to warm and knew he was about to make good on his promise. Rock moved faster and faster, hitting my g-spot with every thrust.“You like this? Anyone could be watching us, Carmen. You know for a fact there’s at least one troll watching me fuсk you right now. Do you like showing off how well you take my cоck?” Rock murmured into my ear. I had forgotten about the troll his mom hired to watch over us. My body clenched at the idea of someone seeing us. For all I knew, a lot of people could be watching from anywhere in the parking lot. A shiver went through me and I felt myself get even wetter. “Yeah, you like that. You’re my dirty little wolf ѕlut, aren’t you?” My only answer was a moan, but it was enough to satisfy Rock. He began moving faster, harder, and my body responded. I was just beginning to peak. As if on cue, Rock slid one hand down to my clit and started rubbing it as he fuсked me. I groaned, trying to muffle the sound against his tie, without much success. He moved faster and faster, his fingers working in tandem with his thrusts. He squeezed my breast hard and I squeaked. I heard him growl, but he didn’t stop. One more thrust and I came. I was breathing heavily, and a few high-pitched moans escaped around Rock’s tie as he picked up the pace, pounding my g-spot hard. Rock thrust into me a few more times and released inside me, groaning my name. He pulled out but he didn’t move away right away. Instead, he spanked my bare ass and flipped my dress back in place. I was still trying to catch my breath and my legs were shaking, but I managed to stay upright as he finished putting himself back together.“You did well, Carmen,” Rock told me as he took me off the edge of the truck and opened the door. Rock deposited me in the passenger seat. I smiled. He wasn’t mad anymore and that had been a very fulfilling encounter. Rock had talked about taking me out in public when we were together on his birthday. I never thought it would be so thrilling.
