Mia POV
He was alive, all this time he was alive and in the hands of our enemy. I needed to free him now as well. I would free him even if this was a trap I would find a way to do so.
The scent of Leo filled the air, mixed with the damp earth and the musty scent of the forest. "Mia, we must be cautious," Inara's voice filled my mind, her words echoing in my head. The sound of her voice was comforting, reassuring me of her presence.

"I know, I will proceed with caution," I responded to her in my mind. The weight of Atlas beside me, his strong and steady presence, was a constant reminder of our bond. Leo's scent not only affected me, but it was clear that it was also affecting Atlas. I could feel his unease through our connection as we ran. He didn't know Leo personally, but he understood how important he was to me.
Leo was not a threat to our bond, just like Flint wasn't, but I couldn't help but worry about him. He was fighting an anger that threatened to consume him, and Bryn's potion could only do so much. It was clear that his mind was in turmoil. "We stay focused on the task ahead. We find Alpha Artemis and we destroy him and his warriors that pose a threat to us," I said to Atlas through our link, my voice determined. His response was a low growl, a sign of his readiness.
As we ran, I could sense the presence of the vampires and hybrids on our side. They blended into the shadows of the forest, their movements silent and swift. We may have been a small army, but we possessed the strength to dismantle this pack. This was just the first step, not only for our future, but also to bring peace to my fallen pack members. They deserved justice, knowing that those who took their lives were now defeated. I stood tall, fighting not only for myself, but for the future of our realm and for the justice of the fallen.
The adrenaline coursing through my veins intensified, propelling me forward at an alarming speed. Each step I took sent vibrations rippling through the ground, echoing my determination to confront the enemy. The surrounding forest appeared to come alive, as if acknowledging the imminent clash that was about to unfold.
As I channeled my inner power, a surge of energy radiated from within me, intertwining with the very essence of the storm I created brewing above. The once calm sky now transformed into a canvas of dark clouds, swirling with an ominous fury. Thunder rumbled in the distance, harmonizing with the quickening beat of my heart.
My pristine white fur bristled with an electric charge, crackling with an otherworldly intensity. Tiny arcs of lightning danced across my body, illuminating the surrounding area with their bright glow. The air seemed to thicken with anticipation as I prepared to unleash the full force of this unleashed power upon our enemy.

A low growl escaped my throat, reverberating through the clearing. The time for hesitation had passed now was the moment to unleash the wrath that had been building within me. With a mighty leap, I soared through the air, my electrified fur trailing behind me like a comet's tail.
As we ventured closer to the border of the dense forest, the enemy warriors awaited us, their readiness palpable. The air was thick with tension as they charged towards us, their determined howels echoing through the trees. Inara, exuded an aura of power as she braced herself to confront them head-on. It became apparent that our adversaries had specific instructions not to harm me or Atlas, their attacks aimed at impeding our progress rather than inflicting fatal blows.
Drawing from their restraint, I strategized and turned their plan to my advantage. Meanwhile, Bryn, not adept in combat or wielding combat spells, positioned herself at a safe distance. She would lend her healing abilities to the warriors if necessary. To shield herself from any potential harm, she conjured a protective magical barrier, enveloping her in an aura of security.
Each strike, each swipe of my claws, fueled by a mixture of fury and determination, left me breathless. The taste of blood in my mouth only heightened my senses, adding a metallic tang to the air.

Brutus, with his immense strength, was a force to be reckoned with. His muscles rippled as he effortlessly tore through our enemies, his movements a deadly dance of power and precision. The sight of him ripping apart an opponent, his raw strength on full display, sent a surge of pride coursing through me. He was a protector, a warrior who would stop at nothing to ensure our safety.
And then there was Flint, swift and agile, his transformation into a lycan granting him even greater speed. He moved like a blur, his claws slashing through the enemy with lightning-fast precision. His presence alone created a path for us, clearing the way to our ultimate target - Alpha Artemis.
The scent of the Alpha hung heavy in the air, tainted by the dark magic he had used to augment his power. It mingled with the iron scent of blood, creating a heady mixture that filled my nostrils. I knew we were getting closer, the sounds of battle behind us indicating that our allies were holding their own against the enemy.
Lightning crackled across the darkened sky, illuminating the battlefield with a blinding flash. The deafening roar of thunder shook the very earth beneath my paws, mirroring the intensity of my emotions.. A formidable pack of warriors altered with magic, all in wolf form, appeared before us, their powerful presence radiating strength. And there, amidst them, stood the Alpha - a tall, menacing black wolf.
But my attention was quickly drawn to a large cage nearby, where Leo was held captive. The sight of him ignited a deep growl within me, causing the electricity coursing through my fur to surge with increased intensity. The warriors charged at us, their primary objective clear - to separate me from the others. It was a calculated tactic, a trap to ensnare me.
Refusing to be cornered, I launched myself at the group of warriors, a burst of electric energy erupting from my very core. Several of them stumbled back, clearly caught off guard by my unexpected power. However, despite their momentary setback, they successfully managed to create enough distance between me and my companions.
My focus shifted to Alpha Artemis, and I growled fiercely as I closed in on him. But as I drew nearer he vanished into thin air and another figure materialized. Power surged around them, and in that moment, I recognized her as Thora. Atlas’s voice echoed in my mind, urging me to run. The warriors kept Flint and him at bay, making escape impossible for them to get to me right now. In this moment, fighting was my only option.
A ferocious growl escaped my throat as my power flickered with heightened intensity. A bolt of lightning struck the ground near Thora, but she merely smirked, taunting me. "I see you've embraced all the power, little white wolf," she sneered. In response, I lunged at her, allowing more electricity to surge through me. I sank my teeth into her arm, eliciting a cry of pain as the electrified bite forced her to the ground.
"That was too easy," Inara’s voice filled my mind.
Inara was right it was almost as if she allowed me to attack her. She made no move to counter my attack, but I realized she wanted me alive. Perhaps that was why. I prepared to attack her again, but in an instant, her body vanished into thin air. I turned to see Flint and Atlas locked in a fierce battle. My attention then shifted to the cage holding Leo captive. With Flint and Atlas keeping the warriors occupied, I seized the opportunity to break open Leo's cage. I slammed my body against it, allowing the crackling electricity to surge through the bars, shattering the door.
As Leo emerged in his wolf form, Thora materialized before me once again, accompanied by Alpha Artemis, who had arrived just in time. Meanwhile, Atlas and Flint fought their way through the warriors to join us. Alpha Artemis immediately targeted Atlas, lunging at him. Despite being in wolf form, it was evident that he possessed the same strength as a Lycan, thanks to magical enhancements.
Flint moved to block me, but Thora extended her hand and chanted three words, summoning ghostly figures that attacked Flint, keeping him occupied. "Mia, we can handle this. You need to run. You can't let Thora get you," Atlas's voice echoed in my head. Growling, I prepared to attack Thora once more, as thunder rumbled above, filling the sky with a deafening sound. However, she effortlessly blocked my attack, causing me to stumble backward.
In the distance, I heard the yelp of a wolf - Alpha Artemis - as Atlas fought against him. I was confident that Atlas would emerge victorious. With all my power, I lunged at Thora again, focusing all my energy into a surge of electricity that knocked her back as she vanished once more.
"It's time to retreat. We've caused enough damage for today. It's not safe," Atlas's voice reverberated in my mind. As I glanced at the fallen body of Alpha Artemis, I agreed. We were ill-equipped to face Thora, and Atlas was right - we had inflicted enough damage. With Leo by our side, we swiftly turned and ran.
As we sprinted towards the other warriors, desperate to retreat, a thick, ominous fog began to envelop the area. The air grew heavy with the scent of decay, unmistakably the work of Thora. Visibility diminished, making it nearly impossible to discern anything amidst the murky darkness. Within the obscurity, grotesque creatures materialized, summoned by Thora's formidable power. Their guttural snarls echoed through the mist. I had always known Thora possessed strength and might, but this exceeded all expectations.
We valiantly fought our way through the swarm of beasts, but the fog seemed to possess an unnatural force, causing us to involuntarily revert back to our human forms. It was a cruel hindrance, complicating our efforts to combat the encroaching danger. "Atlas!" I choked, my voice strained as the noxious fog infiltrated my lungs. I strained my eyes, desperately searching for him, but he remained concealed by the impenetrable haze. "Mia!" Atlas's voice reverberated in the distance, but his proximity to me was uncertain.
"We must keep moving!" Leo's urgent voice pierced through the gloom as his hand sought mine, providing a reassuring touch I had never anticipated feeling again. Yet, I knew I must be cautious, for our reunion was overshadowed by the perils surrounding us. "ATLAS!" I called out once more, but his response grew faint, a testament to our fruitless attempts to locate one another amidst the engulfing fog. To exacerbate matters, the fog hindered my ability to track his distinct scent. With Leo by my side, I pressed on, determined to find a reprieve from the oppressive mist. “Inara confirmed Leo was indeed Leo, making me trust him a little.”
Finally, a glimmer of hope emerged as we stumbled upon a clearing, free from the dense fog's clutches. "Atlas, where are you?" I mentally connected with him, scanning our surroundings and realizing we were in close proximity to Bryn's supposed location. "I'm still trapped in the fog, Mia. I can't find or sense you," his response echoed through our link. "I've reached the vicinity where Bryn should be. I'll find her and await your arrival," I relayed, relief mingling with the acrid scent of our allies, signaling our imminent reunion. I turned to Leo, observing his clothed form, even after shifting, a telltale sign that a witch had cast the same spell on him as Bryn had done for me, Atlas, and Flint. Something was wrong.
Before I could initiate an attack, Leo swiftly blew a mysterious powder into my face, causing the world to spin uncontrollably. "Atlas, Leo..." I attempted to establish a connection with Atlas, but before I could complete the thought, strong arms encircled me, and darkness consumed my senses.
