When Luke said he would punish me with a kiss, I thought it was funny so I laughed, however, he was offended and walked away. When he left me alone, I wondered if it was offensive to laugh at him like that, and then, I just shrugged my shoulders and proceeded to the bathroom to take a quick shower.
Then, at seven in the evening, I went to the dining room to eat with everyone, but upon noticing that the staff weren’t so comfortable with me, I decided to leave first and lied about not feeling well.
Fortunately, Luke didn’t stop me from leaving and just let me go first. I knew that what I did was rude but Luke’s eyes told me to just go to my room. On my way back upstairs, I encountered Vanessa again, and she also stared at me like everyone else earlier.

Well, I couldn’t blame them, especially with the huge changes in my appearance. Luckily, Luke and I were on a frequent trip to the city, so there was an alibi about visiting the salon.
Once inside my room, I took a deep breath before deciding to take a rest, but of course, my bodyguard wouldn’t just let me to be in peace for a few hours without him bothering me whenever he could.
It was almost eight thirty when I heard a knock on the door, and my guess was correct that it was Luke. I frowned as soon as I saw him outside the door, but then, he smiled at me, and I was lost!
“Why are you here again? You are not supposed to come here often,” I warned him.
“Why not, Isabella? Your Dad ordered me to check on you all the time,” he replied.
“But I am no longer a child!” I protested because I just wanted to be alone.

“Well, you didn’t eat enough for dinner so I brought you something to munch on,” he said before shoving a food container that contained sliced fruits.
“You didn’t have to bother,” I said but then I accepted it.
“Just eat it whenever you feel hungry. Anyway, goodnight, Isabella. Don’t forget about the training tomorrow. Don’t be late, okay?”
“Okay.”

So, as scheduled, I woke up early for the training, and with Luke’s guidance, I trained all day to become strong. Initially, I didn’t believe I possessed such divine power, but it seemed that everything Selene told me was true.
While training, I accidentally burned my hands, and Luke panicked upon seeing it, but right before his eyes, my wounds healed instantly. He was amazed and he couldn’t believe it! I couldn’t believe it either.
The following day, I told Luke that I could train alone, and he didn’t have to be with me anymore, but as always, he was stubborn and never cared about my opinion.
“Luke, I told you I can do this alone. You don’t have to come with me anymore,” I told him.
“Don’t be overconfident Isabella just because you learned a few moves,” he reminded me and I rolled my eyes in response. “If you are ready to leave, then let’s go.”
As he bossed me around, I could only groan as I followed him. He took me to a nearby forest where I could practice my movement. Then, while I was practicing, I noticed he was drowsy.
“Didn’t you sleep last night? You are tired, Luke. Why don’t you go back home and take a rest?” I suggested but he shook his head to defy my wishes.
When he refused to head back home even if he was too tired, I stopped practicing and walked toward him. He was surprised to see me up close, and then he frowned at me as usual.
“What do you think you’re doing?” he asked.
I read from the book that I not only didn’t possess the power to heal myself quickly, but to others as well. Moreover, I couldn’t just heal werewolves, but humans and even vampires, too! No wonder that my existence was considered to be illegal!
But of course, I didn’t believe everything I read from that book, unless, I would be able to try it. So, I planned to experiment with Luke, and I hoped it would be successful.
Luke was bewildered when I touched his hand before closing my eyes to channel my energy toward him. Suddenly, a blue aura burst out from my palm and it went straight to Luke's body. He was engulfed by the blue light and suddenly he looked well, way better and more energetic.
“What was that Isabella?” he asked.
“Well, I just healed you. You were tired, so I transferred some of my energy to you,” I informed him and he frowned even more.
“How?”
“I don’t know. I just felt like I could do it,” I answered and he pouted his lips as if he didn’t believe me.
“There’s something you are not telling me, Isabella,” he mumbled, and I arched my brows in response.
“I have nothing to tell you, Luke.”
“No, you already mentioned that you Vanessa would seduce Aric in the future, how can you know the details? Are you from the future?”
“That’s nonsense,” I said as I dismissed him, and slowly, I walked toward the parked vehicle.
Luke sensed that I wanted to go home instead of explaining so he stopped talking and got inside the car, and he drove away to take me home. Throughout the drive, he was silent and didn’t question me again.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you, Isabella, you are being suspicious,” he stated.
“You are just overthinking,” I told him but then we were both startled to see Aric’s car outside our residence. “Keep driving,” I ordered him.
“Why? Where are we going?”
“I don’t want to deal with Aric right now, Luke. So, just drive!” I shouted.
“Okay, but where should I take you?”
“Just take me anywhere!”
“How about in my bed, Isabella?”
