As soon as she finished speaking, the man sitting in the driver's seat beside her immediately turned his head happily and asked her: "Really? Really?"

"Elliot, aren't you deaf?"


"Temporary deafness.  Now it's over."

Although Ashley had never been in such a fluctuating mood, even those who were paralyzed, their facial skin could tremble a few times at this moment, she quickly lowered her eyes, looking down at her hand.

Elliot's bright eyes at this moment, also revealed a hint of a smile.


Ashley remembered again: "Elliot, you still haven't told me, why you want me to take a leave, what do you want to do?"

While speaking, there was a sound of brakes, and the car stopped.


"Here." Elliot looked at Ashley and smiled: "Get out of the car, you will know soon."

Ashley looked doubtful, Elliot got out of the car, went to the passenger seat, and opened the door for her: "Ashley, get out of the car."

Ashley looked at the building in front of her, it was an old factory that had been renovated, not considered luxurious... She breathed a sigh of relief in her heart, Elliot didn't say anything clearly, held her hand and walked inside.

After entering, she discovered that this place was considered a place to relax and drink tea.

 'Ashley, the chocolate cake here is delicious, I'll order one for you to try later."

Elliot said as he led Ashley into the private room at the back.

Ashley just suddenly thought of something and brought her here to eat sweets.

When they reached the door of the private room, Elliot's eyes lit up and he said to her, "I'll introduce you to some of my overseas classmates."

After hearing this, Ashley immediately tensed up: "I don't..."

Elliot pushed open the door of the private room: "Ashley, come here, let me introduce you to my overseas classmates, Lorne, and Kane."

The door opened, and three pairs of eyes were stunned.

Ashley's face suddenly turned pale.

Lorne and Kane, also at the moment the door opened, both froze.

But immediately, Lorne smiled and said to Elliot: "This guy, you're good, your moves are quite fast." His impression of Ashley was the same as what happened in the private room that day.

On Kane's face, which was even more beautiful than a woman's, a meaningful smile appeared: "We meet again, Ashley."

Elliot and Lorne looked surprised at the same time.

"You two know each other?"

Elliot turned his head, smiled, and asked Ashley: "When did you meet Kane?"

At this moment, Ashley's hand suddenly trembled slightly.

Even more unexpected, Elliot brought her to meet his good friends.

Ashley wondered, if she had known it would be like this, would she still come?

No... The answer was very clear.

 Elliot pulled the chair over for Ashley with a concerned look: "Sit down. Don't be so nervous, Lorne and Kane, they are both my friends, don't look at them and feel that they are unapproachable, they are very kind." 

Ashley's face paled, she tried to smile and sat down without saying anything. Lorne teased: "Young Master Elliot, since when did you know the word 'concern'?" After speaking, he angrily scolded Elliot: "Also, why do you consider Kane and me unapproachable? We look like unapproachable people?" 

"Kane, right?" Lorne said, while using his elbow to nudge Kane who was sitting next to him.

But he found that Kane was always looking at Ashley with an extremely enthusiastic gaze.

Lorne frowned: "Kane, don't look at Ashley like that, it will scare her. Be careful, Elliot will come to you to fight."

Kane chuckled: "Oh?" He asked Ashley indifferently: "Did I scare you, Ashley?"

Those words came out of Kane's mouth, with a special meaning.

Ashley's face became even paler.

Elliot suddenly looked at Kane intently, smacking his lips: "Why do I feel like you have intentions towards my girlfriend?" Elliot didn't like Kane staring at Ashley, nor did he like the word "Ashley" that Kane just said... He didn't know if it was because he was thinking too much, but he just felt that something was wrong.

Kane stuck out his tongue twice, opened his eyes wide, and glanced at Elliot, suddenly, he felt unhappy, then coldly glanced at Ashley, indifferently said: "Don't worry, I'm not interested in this kind of thing."

Lorne stood beside him and tilted his head to glance at Kane... What's wrong with this guy today? His words were a bit strange.

Elliot's eyes were a bit unhappy, squinted at Kane, then put his hand on the back of Ashley's hand, pursed his lips, and asked kindly: "What do you want to eat?"

"I... the bathroom is over there, I want to go to the bathroom for a bit." If she stayed under Kane's "hot" gaze for a while longer, she was afraid she wouldn't be able to endure it much longer.

"Go out the door and turn left."

Elliot finished speaking, and Ashley immediately stood up and hurriedly walked out.

"It seems very urgent." Kane suddenly added another sentence.

Elliot bit his lip and said nothing, of course, he was unhappy.

After a while, he suddenly raised his head: 'How did you meet Ashley?"

Lorne was silent for a moment, but did not directly say how they met, and asked Elliot: 'Are you two lovers? Then you probably know where she works, right?"

'I know, at Club Paradise. So you mean, you and she met at Club Paradise?" Ashley worked at Paradise Club, and Lorne breathed a sigh of relief, if Elliot knew, then he didn't need to hide it anymore, so he told the story of that day, of course briefly and simply, omitting some details.

Ashley panicked and went into the bathroom. Her mind was a little chaotic. She didn't want to go back to that private room anymore.

But Elliot's phone call.

She just opened the bathroom door, then a strong force rushed in, "bang" a sound, the door was locked.

"I don't want others to know, now you and I are locked in a secret place like the bathroom, right?"

In her ear, a familiar voice, stuck on her earlobe, slowly said.

Ashley's whole body trembled, his arm touched her waist, and used more force: "So cold. Ashley, I didn't expect your hand to be so high, deliberately attracting my eyes, and then seducing the handsome and rich Elliot."

"I didn't do that." She didn't attract his eyes and had no intention of seducing any man, including Elliot.

"Your mouth says no, just like... your body says no." After saying that, Ashley's earlobe suddenly hurt, so much so that she frowned, the other person's teeth bit hard on her earlobe, and the other person chuckled and said: "Look, if it hurts, scream. Ashley tried her best to restrain herself but couldn't hit Kane's beautiful face… she clenched her fist and let go.
