AMELIA’S P.O.V

I woke up to a pressure building in my lower belly. I tried to ignore it but it made me squirm and the more I arose from my slumber, the more my surroundings became more obvious to me. I realized I was gripping the sheets and I realized that there was a warmth at the apex of my thighs that even without opening my eyes, I knew belonged to Kaden and his sinful mouth. I tried to ignore and pretend like I was asleep but Kaden was not letting up.


I finally peeled my eyes open only to see him settled in between my thighs leisurely licking me like it was his job. His palm was spread wide and pressed against my lower belly as he fucked me with his tongue. A moan left my lips and Kaden’s eyes snapped up to mine. A feral smile grew on his face but he didn’t let up. My thighs trembled and just as I was about to orgasm, I heard a door slam shut.

It snapped us both out of our reverie and Kaden held up a hand to signal for me to be quiet. We waited with baited breath to see who had entered his house. I was about to speak when I heard a female voice call out his name. Kaden muttered a curse under his breath and grabbed my arm. He grabbed his shirt and pulled it over my head in one quick move while he pulled on a pair of sweatpants.

“Who is that?” I whispered when I noticed how he was hurrying to get dressed.


“My mother,” my eyes widened and my first thought was to rush into the bathroom to hide but Kaden stopped me. “No, I am not going to hide you. I want to be with you, don’t you want to be with me?”

“I do,” I mumbled and he kissed my lips softly.


“I’ve got this.”

There was a knock on the door and Kaden gave me one last look of assurance before he pulled the door open. His mother walked in and it was clear that she didn’t notice me at first because she immediately started talking about how bad it was that Kaden had slept in and how he treated Lucy last night.

She was in a button up blouse and a black skirt that held her perfectly. She had a bag in her hands that I knew cost more than my entire closet combined. Her hair was tied up in a perfect bun and her lips were painted the same color of rubies. She crossed her arms over her chest and made her way to sit on the empty chair. She sat like a queen and she looked up. Our eyes met and her lips turned down in a frown.

“Kaden, I have never inquired about your extracurricular activities but don’t you think it is prudent to send your call girls out of the house before morning?”

My cheeks heated in shame and I cast my gaze to the ground. Of course she would think I was a call girl, I looked so uncouth and judging by Lucy, Kaden was used to girls who looked like runway models.

“She is not a call girl but that doesn’t matter now. What are you doing here this early?” Kaden asked without moving. His mother ignored him in favor of looking around the room. “Is there something you’re searching for?”

“An answer,” she said simply and I could feel Kaden’s confusion. “I am looking for an answer as to why you threw Lucy out of the house at night. Are you trying to ruin your own chances, Kaden? Do you not realize what is at stake with her?You cannot tell me you threw her out for this girl.”

“I have told you countless times that I am not interested in Lucy in any way. It was your idea to have her here, not mine. I did not want her here and I do not want her here. It is my house and I reserve the right to remove anyone I want from the premises besides, this girl is not just anyone.”

“Would you remove me too?”

“You’re being unreasonable, mother,” I could tell that he did not want to argue with her from his demeanor but she either didn’t see it or she didn’t care.

“Lucy is the best match for you and I will not allow you ruin it by romping around with whores,” I felt her words hit me like an arrow to the chest. “You think I cannot smell the sex in the air, Kaden? If you want to hit a brothel then find a hotel. Do not taint the sanctity of your home with whores. At least you had the decency to chase her away before I arrived.”

“Stop it!” the sheer force from his voice had even me freezing. “You will not speak to my mate like that ever again.”

“Mate,” she choked on the words and her eyes turned to mine in anger. “You cannot be serious.”

“I have a lot of respect for you mother but if you will not treat my mate with respect then you will have to leave. In the future, I would appreciate it if you gave me a head’s up before coming into my house.”

His mother looked insulted. She glared at me as if I were at fault and she hastily stood to her feet. “We willtalk about this later.”

She stormed out and I waited until I heard the downstairs door slam before I spoke. “I’m sorry, this is all my fault. You should have never needed to put your mother in this position. I should leave.”

I began grabbing my clothes but Kaden grabbed my arms stopping me.

“Calm down, please.”

“I could have hidden. We didn’t have to put your mother on the spot like that.”

He looked offended by my words. “You will not be my dirty little secret- you are more than that. You are my mate and my mother has her problems but she is my mother.”

“She wants you to be with Lucy,” I whisper yelled. “I don’t know her Kaden but I know that you love her and you want to make her happy. What happens when she makes you choose? I don’t want to put you in that position.”

“Then don’t, just trust me and trust that I am handling everything. I can handle my mother on my worst day,” he turned me to face him and cupped my cheeks. “You are my mate, Amelia, not Lucy and not anyone else. I chose you. You are the only girl I have taken in my bed and you are the only girl I will take in my bed. I know I am asking a lot but I am asking that you allow me to do what I need.”

I bit down on my bottom lip but nodded. I could trust him. He had done so much for me already and I knew without a doubt that he would do even more so I nodded. He let out a sigh of relief and kissed me- a real kiss this time; the kind of kiss that had my head spinning and my thighs clenching together, the kind of kiss that had him hardening against my lower stomach and taking my breath away.

I had to pull back to get air and when I saw the way Kaden was gazing down at me, my cheeks heated. I wanted him just as much as he wanted me but I couldn’t.

“I’m sore,” I mumbled. “You’re big and it hurts down there.”

The corner of his lips quirked up in a smile as he gazed down at me; “There are other ways to pleasure you. Why don’t you come back to bed and let me finish what I started.”

By the time I left Kaden’s house, it was around eleven. He was adamant that he would drive me back. We took a shower together in his massive bathroom and he pleasured me with his fingers right after washing me off. I was grateful for the clothes that he had stolen from me over the past weeks because I was able to get a decent outfit. I was also grateful that I didn’t have any classes because I just wanted to stay in bed and squeal.

He dropped me in front of Clara’s house and just as I was about to get out, he grabbed me by my neck and kissed me deeply. He was insatiable but then again, so was I. One simple kiss had me aching for him despite knowing that we were taking a huge risk by kissing outside.

“I will come to see you tonight,” he told me and my cheeks heated as various images flooded my mind. “Now that I’ve had you, I don’t know how I am going to keep my hands off you but I will try my best.”

“What if I don’t want you to?”

“Unless you want Caleb’s family hearing what you sound like when you cum then I think we need to,” he breathed huskily. “I’ll have you again, don’t worry. We just need to figure things out first. You trust me, don’t you?”

“I do,”

He smiled although it didn’t reach his eyes and he pulled back from me. “You should go before I pull you over here and fill you once more.”

I was tempted to stay but I knew he had work so I dragged myself out of his car. He waited until I had gotten into the house before he finally drove off. I was so giddy that it was like someone had attached a permanent smile to my face. I practically skipped back to my room but I bumped into Clara.

She took one look at me and smirked. “Your scent changed, is there something I should know?” I shook my head but my flaming cheeks betrayed me. “Is that so? I could bet that Kaden is in a good mood today.”

“Stop it,” I mumbled but I was smiling. “I’ll tell you but you have to swear that you won’t say a word to anyone.”

“You have my word.”

She was barely done speaking when I pulled her into my room.
