Leila

I held Lea back so hard. This was the hardest she had pushed to come out. It was impressive how I held her back but it wasn't time. Grey was still there.

'It's not everyday I get greeted by my naked son-in-law," his voice grated on my ears.

Damien watched him with an uninterested expression.

'What? Don't I get a greeting at least?" Antonio looked from Damien to Grey, 'if it's because of him, then that's too sad. He will be gone soon."

'Fuck it!" Damien said through the bond.

Realizing what he wanted to do, I quickly summoned a protective shield around his body and Grey's. Hoping that Hera's mental shield will hold.

Damien moved forward the moment I was done, snatching Grey up instantly. I saw the sorcerer flinch instantly.

Antonio laughed, 'there's no need for that. Taking him away won't change what is happening…"

His sorcerer grabbed his mouth and coughed and fell to his knees, bled through his fingers to the floor.

'I got him! He's free from the sorcerer's magic," Hera announced.

'Thank you," I replied.

'Get him back to the pack," ordered Xander.

Damien nodded and ran with some soldiers behind him.

'What did you do?!" Antonio asked, outraged.

'Took back what wasn't yours to take."

'Where is the volana?" The sorcerer asked, rising to his feet. His face was still pale but I knew he was recovering from whatever Hera did.

Fast.

'Do you really expect me to answer that?" I asked.

'I will have to get the answer from you then. I apologize if my methods aren't satisfactory," he grinned weirdly.

'I on the other hand do not apologize for what I'm about to do."

I heard Antonio talking to Xander, 'I will just have to kill you and take something else then."

Instinctively, I bent to the left, dodging a beam of light that was shut in my direction. Luckily, it didn't hit anyone behind me.

He scowled but it was quickly replaced by a sneer.

'I'm the one you're facing princess."

I scoffed, we were circling each other. Sizing each other up.

'Aren't you going to tell me your name?" I asked, 'Antonio's ass licking sorcerer won't really go well when I'm telling the story of how I smashed your head in."

I chuckled at the fury in his eyes. It looks like he wasn't fond of being called an ass licker.

'Such a dirty mouth you have on you princess."

'Good thing I'm not one, the ass licker."

'My name is Ganymede!" He launched at me with a sword made of light.

I blocked his attack with mine. His eyes widened in surprise, I guess he thought he was the only one with a shiny sword. Using his surprise to my advantage, I quickly moved to the offensive.

Unrelenting with my attacks and forcing him to the defensive.

Amidst the sounds of our clashing swords and Ganymede's annoying growls, I heard Xander fighting Antonio. Snarls and growls told me that they were in their werewolf form.

I blinked and focused on the fight.

Ganymede let out an annoyed shout and pushed me back, earning a few minutes of rest.

'Why can't you just hand yourself over? All this will end if you..."

I scoffed, my eyes trailing his every move. One would be foolish to drop their guard against a sorcerer.

'Why will I do that when I can just kill you?"

Ganymede smirked, 'so confident in yourself. I will love to see…"

'His fingers are twitching! The right one!!" Lea yelled in my mind.

I didn't bother wondering how she knew that, her observation skills were better than my sight. Tapping into my werewolf abilities, I sped to his side and cut the hand off before he could blink.

'What the…" I watched the pain register in his mind and he screamed, the sword vanishing as he clutched his bloody arm to his hand.

'You bitch!!" His voice was teary and his eyes were red. His effort in holding his tears back was applaudable.

Lea snickered at his face.

I watched him murmur under his breath, sniffles occasionally interrupting his murmuring.

‘He's healing himself with his sorcery.'

‘His hand will regenerate back?' I asked, sounding amazed inspite of my hatred for him. Regeneration wasn't something you see. Anywhere.

‘I doubt it. He couldn't even last five minutes in a battle with you. He's weak.'

‘I'm just too good.'

Lea smiled. Her smile resembled one a proud parent would give to her kid.

'Love?" Xander called through our bond.

I turned, ignoring the crying sorcerer to watch Xander fight. They were going at each other's neck with a stunning voraciousness.

Suddenly, the sharp smell of blood filled the air and Antonio started limping.

'He's all yours now love."

'Thank you. The sorcerer is still alive but he's missing a hand."

'Atta girl." The bond filled with pride coming in waves from him.

Lea was smug that Xander shared the same sentiment with her.

‘Let me out Leila. I want a piece of Antonio and I want it now. I've been patient enough.'

Sighing because I know that she's right. I turned to Ganymede, he was still on the floor, babying his hand that had stopped bleeding. I scoffed, he couldn't even attack me as I was distracted.

'Hope you're ready ass licker."

'What?"

I ignored him and ran towards Antonio. Glancing at the few soldiers that were around as I passed, I was pleased to see that they weren't harm.

Hala nuzzled his stout in my neck once I stood before him. I smiled but my eyes were on Antonio.

'I will be fine Hala."

'I know." His hoarse voice sent a shiver through me. 'Give him what he deserves."

'I will."

We parted and I faced Antonio. He had shifted and was somehow covered in a cloak. Thank the goddess, I really didn't want to blemish my eyes.

'Antonio."

'Leila. I've missed you."

I kept my face neutral, 'with the way you treated me before I left, I can't say I believe you."

'Let's leave the past behind," he said with a wave of his hand. 'I saw what you did with the place, you've grown."

The greed in his eyes as he trailed them down my body was repulsive.

'And you've only declined."

'Trivial matters that would be fixed when I have what I need."

I sighed, tired of this conversation.

'It's shameful to see someone as old as you being this delusional."

Finally, his mask slipped off and he scowled. 'Watch the way you talk to me girl."

Laughing, I called Lea out.
