DAMIEN'S POV

I walked back into the castle after watching Liam leave, directing him out of the castle was the best thing I could do to help him. I couldn't believe that Amelia and Antonio would want to work against me.


'Where are you coming from? It's not your duty today, so why are you coming from that way?" Amelia asked stopping me.

'I'm not coming from there, I was talking with some of the guards and I decided to follow the shortcut to come back. And why are you questioning me, what are you even doing here?" I asked her my voice harsh.

'My father asked to see you, there's a new plan on board and I'm coming from feeding Leila her meal. Let's go?"


I nodded and walked besides her to her father's office. If Antonio had another plan, then maybe I was involved in getting the Alpha position.

'Amelia, am I still going to get the Alpha position like I was promised before joining you and your father. You owe me, and if this plan backfires. I'll step out."


'Why are you directing your anger towards me? I didn't sign any deal with you, whatever deal you have is with my father not me. It won't backfire, my father already has a detailed plan and I'm sure getting you to the Alpha position is among. After all the seat is empty."

She wasn't lying, she didn't make any deal with me. It was her father who did but what was I going to do if her father decides to pull a one stunt shit on me.

'DAMIEN! Hurry up, why the fuck are you behind? My father doesn't like being kept waiting and you know that."

'Don't raise your voice when talking to me, and I'll walk in the pace I choose. You and your father are not one to be trusted."

We kept on walking quietly till we got to her father's study. Knocking on the door, she went in and I followed suit. Antonio sat in his chair, he was marking stuffs on a paper in his table.

'Dad, he's here. Let's get to it now."

'Hold on, love. Let me finish marking our routes!"

'What routes? Are we moving away from here?"

'No, Damien we are not moving away. Instead we found out where the Alpha is, all thanks to your not so smart movements."

I was lost, what did he mean by thanks to me. Realization hit me and I understood what he meant, I was seen with Liam. 'No, no don't take him in. I didn't help him at all, I only showed him the way out to avoid him getting into your trap like Xander did."

'DAMIEN!! HOW DARE YOU!" He bellowed

'You haven't done what you said you'll do, I've been waiting for the both of you to put me up on the throne like you promised. What's keeping you both, I sent him out of here. You know why? To have a witness in case the both of you would want to pin the kidnap on me."

'I really didn't expect you to behave this way, you wanted revenge against Leila and that's why I allowed you join hands with me. I want you to have Leila and me become the Luna!"

'This is exactly why I said, I'm not part of your plan. I'm not going to benefit anything from your plan, your father wants to regain his Alpha positions and take Leila's powers for himself. You on the other hand want to become the Luna to Xander, where does that leave me? I'm merely just part of your plan without benefiting anything from it."

'Why would you think that I wouldn't help you out? You're a huge part of our plan, you can be my beta but that's that! Nothing more nothing less."

'That wasn't our agreement! You're being greatly unjust and that's unfair. We had the agreement of you becoming the Alpha of Leila's pack and me the Alpha." I spat turning to Amelia, 'And you are supposed to be my Luna, why would I want Leila to be my Luna? I don't even love her! Yes, I agree I wanted revenge but it was because of you."

'What do you mean? I only did whatever I did with you because that's what I was ordered to do! Why would you think I love you?" Amelia said to me her face concocted and voice edged with disgust.

I couldn't believe my ears, she was talking like I was just trash to her. She had used me? I couldn't believe my ears, I walked towards her. She moved back as I came closer, 'Why are you coming closer? Stop coming closer to me! You can stand at a distance and talk!"

'No, I can't. You will need to tell me the truth, you mean after we made out you didn't feel anything for me and you were just asked to do it."

'Yes, it was all an order! Didn't you think about it? Why would I make out with you in Leila's presence the day she asked us to get a room? My father knew you were promiscuous and he decided to lure you into his trap, and it worked."

I stopped in my tracks and turned away from her, 'Who ordered you to do so? Antonio?"

Antonio laughed, 'I don't want to take it that you're so slow and don't understand simple English. It was all a plan from the beginning, I could see how easy it was to lure you and so I did."

I walked back to my chair sitting down, I burst into a wrap of laughter. It wasn't me laughing, I had been deceived.

'Antonio, you'll pay for this betrayal." I stood up releasing my claws, I rushed at him. He dodged my hand aiming for his face, with a swift movement I was on the ground.

'Ohhh! Sucking her energy each day keeps making me stronger, you don't hold a bar to me. I'm much stronger than you are!"

Shut up, I'll kill you."

'Not if I kill you first." I couldn't see anymore, I had blacked out.
