**ANTONIO**

"We're going to be setting out to attack Alpha Xander. Rumours has it that he has gone on a very distant journey and though there are not much details—even if there were, I am not prepared to say anything— we must all know that whatever journey he has ventured on is to save Leila and defeat us and I'm certain that none of us would want that right?" I stated and they all nodded in affirmation while I continued my rant.

"Well, that is why I am ordering that all able bodied warriors would be coming with me into battle to defeat Alpha Xander." I said in a loud and authoritative voice and there were a few chatters before it died down in a frenzy.

"How do we locate Alpha Xander? Our guess is that he must be somewhere far away from this place and we can't know for sure where he must have taken shelter. We don't know if they are sheltered just in the woods or another man's pack. The worst thing we would even think of doing now that we aren't stable is trying to think that we can fight against another pack now that we haven't strengthened our hold here yet." One of the warriors stated from the back and there were murmurs of agreement but one hand raised in the air by Antonio, everywhere quietened again.

"Before I brought this here, you should know that I must have already done my background check. We don't know where Alpha Xander and his gamma's are taking coverage and it could be anywhere, but it's not another pack so we're good." I confirmed and there were pin drop silence as I tried to input the fighting resilience.

"With you, we have been able to successfully claim Black Pool pack for ourselves. That's why you should know that you are important for this battle we are about to embark on. We need everyone's head in the game as we can't lose this time." I motivated the soldiers and their spirits began picking up as they assembled into formation, some leaving the formation to grab some formidable weapons.

"We lost the last time, we can't afford to lose again." I shouted and they chanted the words repeatedly and repeatedly till it felt like we had already won the victory.

While half of the army was instructed to shift into their wolf form, some were instructed to remain in their human form because no matter the form Alpha Xander decides to take, we would try our best to hunt him down the path and eventually defeat him.

As we filed out with I, Amelia and Damian leading the way, I kept paying attention to my surroundings. Nothing was going to take me unawares this time especially now that we were close to Xander's territory.

It only came to my notice that they would be a formidable opponent when I heard the voice of one of their night watch yell;

"Giddy up everyone, Intruders approaching. Closer than half a mile away." He yelled and his voice seemed to bellow through out the entire forest. The sound of his voice was enough to awaken the birds of the air that had retired for the day.

"I repeat, Intruders approaching." He yelled yet again.

Though they were now aware of the fact that they had an enemy close by, we had already closed by to them catching them unprepared as my soldiers in their wolf form began their escapade of tearing flesh from limb. It looked interesting as long as it wasn't the life of any of the people I know and like.

And I don't even like a wide range of people so any one can go ahead and die.

"Attack." Alpha Xander yelled to his army and for a moment I stopped to admire his warriors..

Though they had been caught unaware and didn't have idea that any of this would have taken place, they attacked with a uniformity that wasn't to be joked with.

"I really thought that the last time was enough to caution you on what to do and what not to do but I must tell you that you'll have to be retiring." Alpha Xander assured in a boastful voice and I just clicked my tongue as I locked gaze with him.

For me, every other thing had disappitated and was no longer in existence sort of apart from this man that was staring at me like his looks were daggers.

If eyes were bullets, a lot would be lodged in my head already.

"You sound so confident Xander, almost too confident and it's quite annoying. I find it very very annoying. Emphasis on Annoying." I reiterated and Alpha Xander just chuckled.

"I'm confident because I would find it very delightful to have your head on spikes. This confirms my fear that you have Leila. What do you want from my pack?" Alpha Xander questioned and I raised my brows in a questioning manner.

"What pack? Oh you mean Blackpool pack? It's no longer yours. I think you should have put in your best warriors to guard your house and the laziest to walk with you." I stated and that shook him for a little while before he glared at me again.

"What do you mean by that?" Alpha Xander questioned, curiosity lacing his eyes as he stared at me like it would bring out the truth from me.

"It means that maybe I had invaded your pack with my armies and killed everything I felt like killing. Took out all the stubborn ones and resumed as the father and Alpha." I informed and I saw Alpha Xander's eyes darken in anger as he shot me a very imposing look.

"You dare mess with my people—"

"Yeah, half of those your people might be part of the people that were dragged to be burnt today." I continued and out of anger, he charged at me in full strength while he was shifting into his wolf form Midway.

Just like I had expected! Just like I had planned it out.

"Amelia, are you ready?" I mindlinked, not taking my eyes off Xander while I put on a defensive position .invade.

"More than ready." Amelia replied through the mindlink ecstatically.

"Now!" I ordered and after 2 seconds, an arrow was lodged into Xander's arm causing him to forcefully change into his human form.
