**LEILA**
I woke up to the sound of heavy footsteps matching to and fro the stairs but when I walked up, that wasn't what got my attention. I looked white like I was soaked in water all night and all my lungs felt choky and tight.
My clothes were drenched and I was on the floor of my room laying in a pool of water dripping out of the gown that I wore.
How did I get here?
Soon, a certain kind of dizziness hit me again and the room suddenly started swirling as I tried my best to retain my sanity but it seemed like at this point, that wasn't in my power.
The room was swirling and the next minute, I was hearing eerie laughter fill my ears; echoing inside of my brains.
I placed my fingers inside of my ear hole but it didn't change a thing as the voices were inside of my head.
*The woman with the red lipstick*
*A boy tied with cable wires on his hands and both his feet*
Now that I think of it, the young boy looked exactly like my brother Liam.
*The boy was jittering in fear as his hands were bounded together with his feet. The woman with the red lipstick on her lips was also bounded this time and they were dragging her away.* The only strange thing in all of it was the fact that despite the fact that it was obvious they were about to kill the lady, she still begged for the life of the boy.
Immediately, footsteps on the stairs caught me off once again from the trance and I couldn't help but feel angry about all of it.
Now, that reminds me that it was all their stomping that awakened me anyways. Why the hell would they be matching like a bunch of bees?
Changing my clothes into something more decent after taking my bath, I came down to find out that they were preparing for battle.
"What's going on?" I asked no one in particular as every seemed quite occupied with whatever it is they were doing.
"What's going on?" I asked again but this time my eyes was fixated on Antonio. If he thinks that I've forgotten how he abandoned me in the rain when it became overbearing then he must have lost his very own sense of reasoning.
"And I thought I was supposed to be the lame one. But even for me, the scene is quite understandable. Can't you see we are preparing for battle?" Amelia questioned as she tied the rope at the end of each of her boots and I chuckled lightly.
"Why are we preparing for battle?" I asked, raising an eyebrow but even Antonio thought that my question wasn't good enough to be graced with an answer.
I was kept in the dark as everyone marched like nefarious bunch of bees and the only thing I knew was that after they were done arranging; I was at the back tied as they dragged me like one of the spoils they got from a battle that they had won.
The more we journeyed, the more the forest got friendlier and almost recognizable.
Wait a minute, why are we journeying back to Black pool pack? Where they returning me to the exact place that they had stolen me from?
Joy and relief washed over me at the thought that I would get to meet by dad even if we didn't have the best of relationships.
Not just the fact that I'd get to meet him, I'd get to meet Alpha Xander too.
Now that I think of it, at the mention of Black pool pack; they were the only ones that returned to my head without me deliberating much on it.
I remembered my father because why not? He was my father after all and I remembered Alpha Xander because he was the closest thing I was when it came to experiencing love and protection.
He was almost like a possessive and protective elder brother or would father be the best in this?
The only thing safe to say was that whenever I thought of Black pool pack, my mind always retracted back to them.
As we got closer to the Grand gate which I could make out now, I saw Antonio's armies breaking into formation and then it clicked.
Where they here to fight against Alpha Xander?
Oh moon goddess, this isn't good..
Soon they stopped and just I, Amelia and Damien entered though I was forced to go into the Black pool pack and the shock registered on familiar faces was one that couldn't be apprehended.
And then there was a battle cry coming from the outside.
The sun was setting over the battle-scarred landscape as Antonio's armies emerged on the horizon, their armor glinting in the fading light.
The Black Pool Pack's warriors, led by the fierce and looking Antonio, stood ready, their eyes fixed on the approaching forces as Black pools army tried to organize themselves.
Surely it was a surprise attack and they were unprepared.
As Antonio's armies drew closer, the air grew thick with tension.
The sound of clashing steel and snarling wolves filled the air, echoing off the nearby hills.
Antonio's armies stood firm, their formation unbroken as Black pools gammas charged towards them.
"Today, the Black Pool Pack will fall," he declared, his voice carrying across the chaos as his gaze lingered on mine for a few seconds.
This is one of those moments were I wish my powers would work out of the blue.
Soon, the two forces clashed in a frenzy of teeth and claws, the sound of war echoing through the valley.
Antonio's armies pressed forward, their superior numbers pushing the Black Pool Pack back.
Black Pool's warriors fought valiantly, but they were outnumbered, outmatched.
Just as all seemed lost, a contingent of reinforcements arrived, led by my dad. Beta Carlson
The tide of the battle turned, and Antonio's forces began to falter.
Antonio's face twisted in rage as he realized his plan was failing but before I could blink and realize that Amelia has left my side.
I saw a blade pop out of my dad's chest, presumably he was stabbed from behind and as he fell; I saw Amelia smiling viciously.
She killed my dad! Our dad!
The war raged on, the outcome hanging in the balance, as the two forces clashed in a mealstrom of blood and fury.
