**Antonio**
The pain and disappointment that clouded my head and mind was way bigger to even notice that I had a physical wound on my hands.
I didn't notice that blood was flowing down my hands not until Amelia called my attention to it but staring at it, only a sly smile could escape my lips.
Fresh blisters were engraved on my knuckles and blood pumped out of them.
*Blood* *The very exciting scent of blood*
*One of the reasons why I enjoyed myself in battle was the fact that the stench of blood and sound of broken bones filled the air.*
Perhaps that was probably why I was enjoying staring at my bloody hand right now.
Staring at the wound as blood gushed out of it made me wonder how it would feel to drain the blood out of the very people that abducted Leila.
What if her powers were getting all more powerful?
I couldn't help but think of her whenever I heard a lightning bolt and my mind retracted steps back to the first time she she had unconsciously made thunder bolt to rent the air.
My fear was on two concrete and solid ground and one was no one might be training her wherever she is and if she tries to take in the power more than she could consume, there is every possibility that she might die out of it.
Spontaneous combustion!
That was what she would burn out from if no one directed her.
Secondly, was the fact that even if someone was training her...they would use her for themselves.
I've had that thought too many times than necessary already.
"Amelia, what do you know about Lucian's pack?" I questions as I stopped punching on the bag for a moment and Amelia twitched her eye brows, raising one of them in a question like manner.
An idea had popped into my head and I planned to utilize as much as I could but this time, I was going to do my best in thinking before taking any action.
I didn't want anything that would sabotage my plan any longer.
"What?" Amelia asked and I turned to stare at her fully so she could see my expression.
"Did I stutter? I asked what do you know about Lucian's pack?" I repeated in a hoarse voice and she swallowed an invisible lump.
"I didn't say you stuttered. I just didn't hear you out clearly the first time." Amelia complained parting her lips but I was far into my own head to notice any of her puppy eyes gesture.
"Well, now that you've heard me clearly?" I prodded further impatiently.
"I don't know much but what exactly would you like to know about their Pack?" She questioned and I heaved a deep breath trying to keep my anger in check.
"What did you just ask me?" I queried and she stood up, staring at me levelly in the eye.
That's one thing I love about my daughter, she's courageous.
"I know you're stressed out and worried because your little niece got kidnapped but that doesn't mean no one can talk to you around here." She stated as she rolled her eyes but I had nothing to say to that so I simply ignored it.
"Amelia, you should know that when I ask 'what do you know about Lucian's Pack?' I am technically saying that I need you to find out everything about his pack and I expect to receive a feedback before dusk." I ordered and Amelia gave me a skeptical look before nodding her head in affirmation.
"Yes, my Lord." She answered in a tone dripping with sarcasm as she walked into the house.
I was about walking in too when I saw two men coming through the front gate and I halted trying to make out their faces.
If there was anything I was sure of then, it was the fact that they were not members of my warriors and pack, even their dressing could give that away so they were not making any attempt to disguise.
As they drew closer, I realized that it was two of my most trusted elders that were both my eyes and my ears in the Black pool pack.
"Hello Dears." I called as I walked to meet up with them as they breathed heavily.
"We came to deliver a message to you and return as soon as possible before any one would realize that we left the pack." One of them said and I smiled.
"Alright then, let's go in." I urged but as I walked in, they still stood where they were and I raised an eye brow.
"As much as we would love to sit down, we can't. Alpha Xander had called in reinforcements so we don't know what he's crawling at. We only learnt that the first time of Alpha Xander going to battle, he didn't recover the constellation plate artifact." They informed and I stared at them like they had both lost their minds.
"What are you saying?"
"It was shocking to us as well, that's why we never found it when we searched for it." They continued and I nodded, the realization sinking in.
"I guess its a good thing then, he only wanted her to play the role of the priestess." I commented and they exchanged glances before breaking the main news now.
"He has finally recovered the artifact and now that he has it, he would stop at nothing to make sure he gets his mate back." They reiterated and then paused for a minute.
"So you're saying that I am bound to loose this battle? You came all the way from Black Pool pack to tell me that?" I scoffed and they shook their head in negativity vigorously.
"No, not at all. We would return now." They said as thy scurried away and I called upon one of my guards.
"Trail those two men and kill them at the border." I instructed as I walked into the house.
