I scoffed as Lucian ran off to go and answer his lady and if it isn't the most ridiculous thing over ever seen then I don't know what is.


If I had any ounce of love for him as a mate maybe I would have been feeling a little jealous and that would be better but too there were simply no emotions between us so I just walked into my room.

"Leila, I think there's trouble lurking in the corner." My wolf informed and I stood up from the bed, pacing up and down as I broke out in a sweat.

This would be the first time that my wolf was talking with me directly and it felt so good but there she was reminding me that there is danger lurking nearby.


Few seconds later and a loud knock came on my door;

Is that the danger she spoke off?


What's in the other side of the wall?

What would happen once I open up the door?

I however reluctantly opened up the door when the knock increased to a bang.

"It's you again." I muttered as the face of the guard came into view.

"Yeah, it's me again. The Alpha summoned you to the grand hall." He announced and I nodded, closing my door so I could put on something more Luna like before going there.

However, he placed his feet in between the door making it impossible to close and I looked up at him in fear.

What was he up to?

"It's not an occasion, I rather fear it's something more brutal so you wouldn't need any thing that is Luna like or lady like. You'd be better off with training suits." He stated and my jaw dropped.

"You heard my thoughts? You can read my thoughts?" I asked as my head began spinning as I stared at this unknown stranger who felt so close.

"That's something only Red Fangs can do and you my dear, is a red fang." He stated and I raised my brow in confusion.

"May I come in?" He asked and without waiting for an answer he walked in and bolted the door behind him.

"You wouldn't have asked." I scoffed and he chuckled dropping all layers of seriousness.

"How did you get your mark?" He asked I stared at it for some minutes before answering.

"Its a birth mark. You had yours tattooed?" I asked and he let out a painful smile before shaking his head in negativity.

"Its also a birth mark, its a twin birth mark." He stated and then he stared at me as tears trickled down his eyes.

"The Alpha only told us that you're our Luna but is your name Leila by any chance?" He questioned and my eyes widened.

"Yes." I answered and the flashes of that nightmare came.

*The woman with the red lipstick*

*The young boy sitting beside me tied with cable wires*

*He was trailing my tattoo and then he said; *

*"Sister, we'll be fine,," he assured and I nodded, leaning on his shoulder I said, "Liam, don't leave me*

And I opened my eyes up immediately as tears filled my eyes.

"Liam?" I called and he smiled weakly with his eyes covered in moist.

"Wow, things has been going really fast these days and now what? I have a brother also?" I questioned rhetorically but I was more than grateful to finally meet someone connected to me by blood.

"But how? How did we get separated?" I asked and he shook his head while gazing at me.

"As much as you don't remember, I don't remember also. I only have the nightmares—" He was swing then placed his hands over his mouth.

"What is it?" I queried and he stared at me before straightening his shoulders.

"The Alpha did send for you and all would let loose if we don't go to him this instant." He said pushing me by my shoulders outside.

"Keep the fact that we are siblings a secret from everyone now and also, if you want to ask a question and you need to mind link me but don't want your mate to hear you; place your hands on the tattoo and try to connect to me. It might be hard in the first try but you'll get the hang of it." He said as we walked through the hallway.


On getting to the front of the grand hall, he stopped and mind linked me;

"Go in. I'm not allowed to go inside but keep me updated on what's going on in there, if anything; I'm sure the reason he's calling you in isn't safe." He stated and I nodded while walking in.

"You're late." Lucian growled from his throne where his father sat beside him.

"His father already handed over the throne even when he's not aged and his son is a fucking child." I mind linked Liam brushing my birthmark hoping it would work but when I didn't receive a reply from him, I sighed audibly.

"Don't sigh or they'll think you're been disrespectful and since all my years of staying here, I haven't witnessed a fucking hand over of power." Liam replied and I smiled to myself.

I had done it on the first try.

"I said you're late!" He yelled banging his hand on the table and I raised my brow.

"Yes, I'm late. There wasn't a pre notice and anybody would have been busy when you called so I had to take a few moment." I replied and he squinted at me, his eyes darkening as anger clouded his expression.

"I'll give you some moments to explain why you manhandled Amaya by slapping her and even pouring hot water on her just because she corrected a maid." He stated and I followed his line of sight till my gaze landed on Amaya who was sniffing as half part of her face was bandaged and I didn't know why but I bursted into laughter.


"So you lied that I poured hot water on you? Oh come on, you don't know me at all. If I wanted to pour anything hot on you, it would be hot oil not water."
