****Leila POV****

I managed to comport myself as I recoiled on the cold floor, my hands clasped against my torso. I tried covering my nakedness. My clothes ripped to shred after I tried to shift. But this time, I wasn't in the pack where Alpha Xander could easily sweep in and save me. I was all on my own. I waited in anticipation to see who this visitor of mine was.

The door flung open with a force that almost pulled it off its hinges. Then he walked in, although my sight was blurry from the beating I had received on my way here, I still managed to recognise who this person was. It was Damian.

'What are you going here!!" I sneered at him, my eyes blazing with anger.

Without saying a word, he took long strides towards me, a smirk evident on his face. He paused and pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket. 'I came to see how my mate was doing" he scoffed in sarcasm. 'Here" he crouched trying to clean my blood stained mouth. Long gone were the days, he would fool me with his display of affection which I now knew was a facade.

I waited for the exact moment, as his hand got to my face, I bit his hand so hard that I almost pulled off his pinky. 'Arghhh!!! You bitch" he screamed, his cry echoed across the entire building, he rose up, and gave me two jabs to my stomach, he grabbed my hair in a fist and smashed my head against the wall. My vision got more blurry as I felt blood trickling down my forehead.

To his amazement, I healed quick enough.

'Enough!!" a voice echoed through the room in a commanding tone, which made Damien freeze. I peeked to see who had such authority, it was the man Amelia called father. He had wavy blonde hair, a stache scattered across his face, and forest green eyes were just like mine.

'We haven't properly been introduced to each other" he chuckled, his gaze fixed on me. 'Leave us!!" He sneered without saying another word, Damien sauntered away, and as he left he mouthed 'Fuck you bitch". A smile tugged at the corner of my lips.

'No we haven't" I rolled my eyes in disgust, sizing him with my gaze. He pulled a chair and sat before me. 'My name is Antonio and I am your uncle."

A wave of silence swept through the cell I was locked in. I gasped, trying to make sense of what I just heard. 'You are my what!!" I retorted. 'I don't have an uncle, I've never heard of you. And even If i were to have an uncle, it certainly won't be you!!" I bellowed.

‘Hahaha,' he laughed heartily. 'Poor child, well I'm not surprised that Nobody mentioned me to you. I have been searching for you since your mother… my sister passed, and when news of your location reached me, I was more than happy to finally be united with you." he smiled at me.

My wolf howled from within me ‘Traitor, traitor', keep quiet, I said to her under my breath. With the special abilities I got from Alpha Xander, I was able to discern his words, he was truly my late mother's brother. But why was my wolf howling traitor?. Something was definitely amidst.

A wave of nausea washed over me as I grappled with the revelation of my newfound Uncle's existence. A myriad of questions floated through my mind.

Why had my mother never mentioned him?

And why was my wolf reacting so strongly?

His smile was genuine but my wolf warned me of impending dangers.

"well uncle or not, you have a lot of explaining to do," I sneered, trying to keep my voice firm, regardless of the whirlwind of emotions raging inside me.

Antonio's expression softened, as he leaned forward, clasping his hands together. "Leila, your wolf senses more than you realize, my child. But trust me when I say there's so much you don't know about your family and where you came from."

I furrowed my gaze at him, sensing there was more to his words than he was letting me on. "I want to know everything," I snapped, my voice dripping with defiance.

He leaned back in his chair, pausing for what seemed like eternity before finally replying to me. "Very well then, but prepare yourself, for the truth is far stranger than you could ever imagine. Are you sure you are ready for…

'Before he continued, a Delta rushed in, 'Alpha, our warriors on the borderline just sent word of sighting a group of wolves, coming in our direction. They seem to be trailing after the prisoner."

The weight of his words hung heavy in the air, the tension more palpable with each passing breath I drew. In a rather quick transition, Antonio's demeanour changed from composed to a menace, his eyes ablaze with rage. The revelation of the approaching threat only served to fuel his determination.

'We will continue this conversation some other time" his voice is cold and icy, which sends shivers down my spine. It wasn't long before Damien entered the room, with a smirk on his face.

It finally occurred to me that he had been a part of this scheme. My eyes widened in shock as he locked the door behind me, unbuckling his belt from his pants. 'What are you trying to do?" I asked, my voice quivering with fear.

'Don't make this more difficult for both of us" he sneered, his eyes flickering with lustful desires. His statue towered over me as he moved closer. 'Spread your legs!" he muttered in a stern voice. My heart raced at the thought of what he was about to do to me.

There was no one to save me this time. All the guards followed Antonio to the muster point. 'Please, don't do this'' I pleaded, tears pooling down my already etched cheeks. He moved closer with just an inch between us when we heard a bang on the door.
