Jane's POV

Our Wedding Day

I woke up and stared at the ceiling. It was my wedding day, the day I married Hades.

There was a soft knock on the door.

'Come in," I said quietly.

Emily stepped in, and held a tray with tea and toast. Her smile was wide. 'Good morning, bride."

I sat up slowly. 'Morning."

She set the tray on my lap and hugged me gently. 'You are glowing."

I shook my head and laughed. 'I look nervous."

'Same thing."

I took a small sip of tea, and my hands were slightly shaking. 'Do you think… everything will go well?"

She sat beside me. 'Jane, you have survived worse than a fancy wedding. This will be the best day of your life."

I nodded. 'You are right."

___

When I finally slip into my wedding dress, everyone gasped

Rita clapped. 'You look like a queen."

Emily wiped a tear. 'Hades is going to pass out when he sees you."

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time and the veil rests gently over my shoulders and my stomach fluttered

Then, the door opened. 'It is time," someone whispered.

__

The wedding was at a grand estate overlooking the sea. White flowers line the aisle. Golden chairs shimmer under the sunlight and soft piano music plays.

As I stepped out, holding my father's arm, everyone stood and I heard gasps, saw smiles, and felt eyes on me. But all I saw was Hades.

He was at the end of the aisle, in a dark tuxedo. His eyes were glassy and smiled like the world just stopped.

I held my breath as I walked toward him.

Step by step, and closer. When I reached him, he took my hand.

'You are beautiful," he whispered

'You look nervous," I whispered back.

He laughed quietly. 'Terrified. But in a good way."

The priest then began to speak.

I barely heard the words. All I heard was my heartbeat and Hades breathing beside me.

Then it was time.

'Do you, Hades Laurence Thomson, take Jane Grande…"

'I do."

'Do you, Jane Grande, take Hades…"

I looked at him and I think about everything we have been through. The pain, the betrayal and the healing.

'I do."

We placed rings on each other's fingers.

'You may now kiss the bride." He leaned in. and I closed my eyes.

The kiss was soft, gentle and full of promises. People clapped, music swelled and we were married.

A screen played quietly behind us, as part of the surprise Emily planned for the reception. It was a video slideshow and a journey, our beautiful journey.

I turned my head to look.

A photo flashes: me, younger, smiling on my office floor, surrounded by coffee cups and files and uilding my company from nothing.

Then another: the headline—'CEO Jane Grande Betrayed by Husband."

My breath caught.

Then, video clips: paparazzi chasing me, gossip shows tearing me down.

A hush fell over the guests as the slideshow continued.

Then—Hades. Speaking at a press conference. 'She is more than her past. She is the future."

A wave of emotion hit me.

I whispered, 'I remember that day."

'I meant every word," Hades replied.

The screen shifts again, me standing in court, giving my testimony. My voice is shaky but firm.

Then, Emily hugged me backstage. Ava shaking hands with me after we won the case.My name was cleared.

Next me holding a baby bump, looking peaceful.

And then: our babies, their first cries. Hades holding both of them, eyes full of tears.

I didn't even notice I was crying until Hades brushed a tear off my cheek.

'I love you," he whispered.

'I love you too," I whisper back.

The screen fades to black, then shows in bold gold letters:

'JANE GRANDE-THOMPSON — THE QUEEN OF STRENGTH."

'THE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY."

The room erupted into applause, guests cheered and I saw Ava standing up and clapping, her eyes were shining. Emily was already sobbing.

Even Mr. and Mrs. Thomson rose to their feet, clapping proudly.

Mr. Thomson shouted, 'To our Jane!"

Mrs. Thomson raised her glass. 'To our daughter!"

I felt like my chest would burst from how full it was.

This moment, this room, this love, this is mine, and I earned it.

Hades leaned over and kissed my cheek. 'You okay?"

I nodded slowly. 'This... is more than I ever dreamed."

'You deserve more," he said.

I smiled. 'Remember when we hated each other?"

He laughed. 'You mean when you told me I will die alone?"

'I was right... until I saved you."

'Correction—you ruined me. Then rebuilt me."

I shook my head, laughing through happy tears. 'We ruined each other. Then I made something new."

He kissed my lips, slow and sure. The guests cheered again.

The media cameras flashed and one journalist nearby said into her mic, 'A love story for the ages. This truly is the wedding of the century."

Later, I walked out to the balcony alone for a moment. I needed to breathe. The sea was dark blue now and the stars came out one by one.

Hades followed me quietly and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind.

'I can't stop looking at you," he whispered.

I rested my hands over his. 'Do you ever think about the beginning?"

He nodded. 'Every day. But this? This is my favorite chapter."

I leaned back against his chest and close my eyes.

From cheating and betrayal…

To courtrooms and scandals…

To children, healing, and forgiveness…

And now—this.

Our wedding.

Our story.

No longer hiding. No longer surviving.

'Tell me something," I whisper.

'Anything."

'If you could go back to the day we met… would you still choose me?"

He turned to me gently to face him. 'I wouldn't change a thing, every fight and every tear led me here, led me to you."

I took his hand and kissed it softly.

'We made it," I said .

'We did."

We both looked out into the night sky.

At this moment, I am not scandalous, I am not the broken wife, I am not the CEO with a secret.

I am Jane Grande-Thomson.

A mother, a woman, a survivor and now a bride. I was celebrated, loved and freed.
