Hades' POV
It was late at night and I lay beside Jane, she was a bit asleep, when I heard her sharp breath.
She held her belly so tight. 'Hades," she whispered and her voice was shaking
'Something's happening."
I sat up fast. 'What? Are you okay?"
She nodded, but her face was filled with pain. 'I think it's time."
My heart jumped. 'Now?"
'Yes, the baby is coming." She winced.
I jumped out of bed. 'Okay.? Okay. Don't be scared, I am right with you." I grabbed her hospital bag from the closet and I already packed it weeks ago.
She held onto the edge of the bed and then she felt another pain hit her, and she cried out. 'Oh my God, it hurts."
I rushed to her side and helped her stand. 'Breathe, baby. Just breathe. We are going to the hospital."
I led her down the stairs, and we took one step at a time and she was sweating. My hands were shaking. I have never been so scared like that before.
I opened the car door and she got in slowly, holding her belly.
I drove fast but carefully. Every few minutes, she groaned and gripped the seat.
'I'm right here," I kept saying. 'You're doing great."
At the hospital, I ran to the front desk. 'My fiancée, she's in labor. We need help."
Two nurses rushed out with a wheelchair. Jane sat down, breathing hard.
They took us to the delivery room and I held her hand tight. I wouldn't let go.
'I called Emily and Ava," I told her. 'They are on their way."
She nodded, sweat on her forehead. 'Don't leave me."
'Never," I said.
Soon, Emily ran in, out of breath. 'Oh my God, is she okay?"
'She is strong," I said and tried to sound calm.
Ava came right after. She hugged Jane. 'You have got this."
I looked at Jane. She was in pain, but she was fierce, brave and stronger than anyone I knew.
'I love you," I whispered into her ear.
She smiled a little through the pain. 'Then don't let go."
'I won't," I said again and I meant it .

Jane POV
The pain was sharp and it was like fire ripping through me.
I screamed again, and squeezed Hades' hand as hard as I could.
'You are doing so well, baby," Hades sair and leaned close to my face. His eyes were wet. 'I'm right here. I'm proud of you. Just breathe."
'I… I can't," I cried, tears rolled down my cheeks. 'It hurts, Hades… it hurts so much."
'You can," he said. 'You're the strongest woman I know and just one more push."
The doctor spoke gently, but quickly. 'Alright, Jane. One big push. Your baby is almost here."
I nodded, even though I felt like I was breaking, and I took a deep breath. I screamed and pushed everything inside me.
Then, I hear it, a cry. A loud, strong, perfect baby cry.
My body still goes. I froze.
'That is… that's my baby," I whispered.
'Yes," the nurse said, smiling. 'It's a boy."
A sob escaped my chest. I covered my face and cried. 'Oh my God… he's here. My baby…"
Hades kissed my forehead. 'You did it. You did it, Jane. I am so proud of you."
'I want to see him," I whispered.
The nurse wrapped him in a soft blanket and placed him in my arms and I looked down and gasped.
He was so small, his skin was pink and his little fists were curled. His face was beautiful.
'Hi," I whispered, tears ran down my face. 'Hi, my love…"
But before I could take it all in,
The doctor spoke again. 'We are not done yet. Second baby is coming."
I looked at Hades in shock. 'Oh God… I forgot."
He nodded, wiping my forehead. 'You are almost there. You have got this."
The pain returned. I screamed again, I pushed, I cried, and I was shaking.
And thenI hear it again, another baby crying.
'It's a girl!" the nurse said happily.
I cried again, harder this time. I can't stop. My chest felt full and my heart was overflowing.
They brought her to me too. She was just as perfect.
I hold them both, my babies.
Hades leaned over me and he kissed and still held mine. He kissed my fingers.
'You are amazing," he said. 'You gave me everything."
I looked at him, my eyes full of tears. 'We have a family now."
'Yes," he said, smiling down at the babies. 'A real one."
I closed my eyes for a moment and I felt their tiny bodies against me.
Hades stood near the bassinet. He lifted our son first, he held him so carefully, like he was holding the whole world in his hands. His arms were strong, but his eyes were full of tears.
'He's… so small," Hades whispersed His voice shakes. 'I can't believe he's mine.
I smiled and my heart swelled as I watched him. 'He looks like you."
Hades looks at me and then back at the baby. 'He has your lips," he said gently. 'And your strength."
Then he picked up our daughter, carefully placing her in his other arm. He looks at them both, one in each arm. His face breaks. Tears fell freely down his cheeks.
'I never thought I would feel this much," he said softly. 'They are perfect, Jane. You made them."
'We made them," I whispered. My throat felt tight with emotion. 'Together."
He walked closer and sat beside me on the bed. He placed our baby girl in my arms, and I cradled her. I look at our son in his arms.
'What should we name them?" he asked.
I blink at the question. I have thought about names, it felt real and I wanted something special and something full of meaning.
I touch our son's tiny hand. He wrapped his little fingers around my finger.
'I want to name him Noah," I said softly.
Hades looked at me. 'Why Noah?"
'Because," I say, breathing in slowly, 'in the Bible, Noah built an ark during the storm, he survived the flood and he started over."
I kissed our son's forehead. 'He is my second chance."
Hades nodded slowly. 'Noah," he said again. 'That's beautiful."
I looked at our daughter now. Her eyes are still closed, her breathing soft. 'And for her?"
Hades thinks for a while. 'Grace," he said 'Because she's calm, and because she's gentle and kind."
'Noah and Grace," I whispered. 'I love it."
