Jane's POV

I beat my face for sleeping for too long. I walked into the bathroom and I freshened up. I stepped out to put on a cloth and I used a fragrance on my body to smell nice.

I highlighted from my house. 'Good morning, ma'am." My driver greeted me in a somber voice.

'Good morning." As I gave him a reply, he opened the door of my car and I stepped inside.

He started the car engine.

'Take me to TSC Broadcasting TV station." I spoke calmly. And I relaxed my back against the chair and puffed out a heavy breath from my nostrils.

When I was still very young in business, it has always been my dream to be in the broadcast of TSC TV station. The dream felt like it would never come to reality.

But I was shocked that it became a reality when I received their call. My car came to a halt and I stepped out of it. I walked slowly as my eyes moved from one corner of the environment to another.

Just as it was pictured on the regular news station, that was how It was in real time. Even though I had seen a more luxurious environment. Just because it was my dream, it felt very different.

A young lady approached me. 'Good morning, ma'am. You must be Miss Jane." She arched her eyebrows with a mix of confusion on her face.

'Of course, I am Jane." I replied to her warmly. A sense of pride swept across my body carriage.

'You are welcome, ma'am. It's almost time. Please, come with me." She said and started walking forward sharply.

With a sigh, I followed after her and we walked into a luxurious tall mansion. That's their office. The building that was mostly captured in all their ads. And for the first time, I walked into it.

I stopped in front of an office while she knocked on the door. Just after the knock, she opened the door and both of us walked in.

'Good day, sir. This is Miss Jane." She informed the young man seated on the leather chair.

His eyes enlarged as soon as the lady introduced me to him. 'It's nice meeting you, Miss Jane." 'Take her to the program room. We have only a minute left." He said with a thick voice.

'Okay." The lady and I went out of his office and I was brought into another room which was filled with cameras. I do not need anyone to tell me that it was the broadcast room.

So, I sat down in one of the empty chairs. 'You are welcome once again. We are going to start now." The lady that accompanied me left the room as soon as she finished speaking.

A woman came to sit beside me although it was a little distant from each other. The broadcast started.

'How do you feel to be here?" Rachel, the host, asked me that question. She looked like a woman in her thirties.

'I feel very happy. Getting to be invited here has been a dream all along." I spoke with an ambiance of excitement within me.

Rachel's eyes curled with surprise. 'A dream? Why did it become one?" She asked further. Her ears inclined to get to hear more from me.

I sighed and that made me remember my childhood… 'My dad tuned to your TV channel and I got to see an icon I have always wanted to see. Robert smith, a book writer. Since that time, I also wanted to be here. It makes it look like a recognition." I explained in detail.

And the host was quite intrigued. 'This is nice. Today will be discussing the corruption eating up the country and the illegal use of drugs. I want you to share with the public how you got hold of that criminal organisation." Rachel breathed out and adjusted herself on the chair.

'On this, I would like to appreciate the real man of action, General Gaza. He was the soldier that helped me in capturing that criminal organisation." I explained.

But Rachel wasn't satisfied with my explanations. 'How did the soldier get involved? Is he the one that discovered the criminal organisation? The public needs more insight." She was poised to hear more from me.

'The criminal organisation murdered my cousin and there was this urge for justice. So, I gave the task to General Gaza. He was actually the one that did all the findings. He discovered them and had their base attacked." I explained.

Rachel was taken aback by the explanation. Her face washed with tension and surprise. 'General Gaza, a different story. Although yours was just a little close to his. But all good, General Gaza demanded that we give all the praise to you." She explained.

I half -smiled. 'General Gaza is such a good man and I didn't expect he would do that one bit." After my words, the host continued to ask questions.

'The public wants to hear your opinion about the current corruption within the country."

I gave a thought for a minute. 'Youth should invest more of their time in legal jobs. Illegal jobs and businesses have caused a surge in corruption. And this must be ameliorated for our youths to be free." After my expression, she nodded in unison.

'Thank you so much for this opinion. How do you think the current crisis should be tackled?" She asked further.

'The government should do something about it. We can't continue to live in a state of panic. There should be skill acquisition programs poured out to the public. Also, education should be free." After my words.

Rachel looked at me for a while. 'These are great words. Thank you for honouring our invite."

'You're welcome." I bowed slowly.

'To our viewers, this is the end of our program. Thank you and watch out for our next invite." After those words, the camera stopped rolling.

I stood on my feet and I walked out of the broadcasting station.

'Thank you for coming." The lady who accompanied me greated as I paced out of the place.
