Aria POV

I woke up at 6 in the morning and went outside after a little freshening. Today was Satyanarayana Swamy Pooja. I was very much excited for the pooja.


I went to the kitchen to make coffee for all. When I was about to move from there, I felt a pair of hands on my body and I smiled recognizing the touch

"Good morning" I spoke keeping my hand on his cheek

"Good morning Aru" he spoke, and I smiled at him while he clutched me tighter and kept his head on my shoulder and slept again


"Sleepy??" I asked him to which he just hummed still hugging me from the back. I broke the hug and turned to face him

"Aadiv go and sleep for some more time" I spoke to which he nodded his head in no.


"Why you are sleepy, so sleep?" I asked him again to which he nodded again. What happened to him he is not speaking anything. I saw his eyes which may close at any time due to sleep. I cupped his face and kissed him on his cheeks and slowly kissed him on the mole near his lips.

I saw his face after kissing him and he had his eyes wide open and his jaw touching the floor. I smiled at him and was about to go but was stopped by him who held my wrist. He pulled me and I banged with his chest which increased my heart rate to the next level. He placed his hands on my waist while mine went to his chest

"Do you think after what you did, I will let you go so easily" he spoke making me blush as I remembered about the thing I did.

"Aadiv anyone will come" I spoke thinking that he will leave me but he nodded his head in a no and was about to say something when we heard some footsteps and he left me immediately and we went out from there.

I and Aadiv came down after getting ready. We both were settled near the pooja mandir.

The Satyanarayana Puja is a religious worship of the Hindu god Vishnu. Satya means "truth" and Narayana means, "The highest being" so Satyanarayana means "The highest being who is an embodiment of Truth". Vrat or Puja means a religious vow, religious observance, or obligation. Hindus perform Sri Satyanarayana Vrat for the divine blessings of health, wealth, prosperity, opulence, education; relief from troubles, and sickness. It can also be performed because of success in business or career growth; during social functions like marriages, house-warming ceremonies, the naming of the children, and so on.

The puja starts with a prayer to Ganesh, to remove all obstacles that may occur as a result of incorrectly performing the puja. Subsequently, Varuna puja (Kalash puja) is performed. During the pooja, Aadiv was looking at me in the middle which was making me blush.

Another requirement of the puja is that the Story is heard among all those observing and Partaking in the pooja. The five-part story involves the origin of the puja, benefits of the puja, the potential mishaps that may occur with the forgetting performance of the puja, the magnitude of the Lord's benevolence and the importance of the Prasad, and consequences of snubbing the ritual

The puja concludes with an Aarti, which consists of lighting camphor in the vicinity of an image of the Lord. After the puja is over, participants and observers of the puja are required to partake the prasad that was offered and blessed by the Lord.

After completion of the pooja Aadiv and I took the blessings of all the people to present there. Now we both must go to my house because as per the ritual I must spend three days at my house with Aadiv. I was happy for going to my house with him, but I am afraid of thinking today night because today night was the time of our first night and I was hell nervous about that.

We bid our bye to all of them in the house and moved towards my house with Aadiv. These three days will be so much fun to Aadiv because he is going to be pampered by my family to the core. Generally, in these three days, the groom is pampered by the bride's family and he gets what he wanted.

I was playing with my teddies in my room when I felt a pair of hands encircling my waist and I smiled feeling the touch. He never stops to surprise me with his acts.

"This is not fair" he spoke kissing my cheek from back making me smile

"What happened??" I asked cupping his face with my hand still in the back hug.

"These teddies are getting more attention that me" he spoke while I laughed out loud listening to his complaints

"Aadiv seriously you are jealous of these teddies and that day you are jealous of Rahul" I spoke in the middle of my laughing session while he made a face

"Yes, I was jealous and will break anything which came this much close to you" he spoke hugging me tighter from the back. This act of him made my heart jump in happiness. He kissed my forehead from the side while saying this

"why," I asked resting my head on his chest he wrapped his hands still close to him. I just wanted to say him that he is my life and I love him a lot

"Because you are mine" he spoke and kissed my neck while I bent it more to give him more access. I was about to say I love you to him, but I heard my mother calling us both for dinner.

We went down and then had dinner. He went to the guest room to get ready while my mom took me to her room.

"I know Aru you are very nervous about this but let me tell you if you trust him then don't hide your feeling from him" she spoke to which I smiled, and I nodded. I not only trust him but love him from the bottom of my heart.

I was made to wear white and red saree with jasmine flowers in my head. I then took a glass of milk and went inside the room where Aadiv was waiting for me. I decided today I will confess my feelings to him. I went inside the room to find it empty and I saw Aadiv standing in the balcony and I kept the milk on the table and moved towards him and hugged him from back keeping my chin on his back. He smiled and pulled me to the front of him.

"Beautiful" he spoke which made me blush. I lowered my eyes and he held my chin and made me look at him.

"I wish I could see you like this only for my entire life" he spoke kissing my forehead and he hugged me. I too hugged him back

I was in his arms and when I felt that he was holding me very tightly I looked at him. Suddenly it started to rain slowly making me smile. He too looked at me and pulled me close to him

"Can I kiss you wifey?" He asked making me blush and I just nodded to him and he pulled me closer to himself all set for our first kiss.

He pulled me closer to him and I felt us getting wet in the rain. He placed his lips on my forehead, then eyes, cheeks. He bites my cheeks which made me smile

"These chubby cheeks I want to eat them daily" he spoke which made me blush again. He slowly placed his lips on mine this time and I felt a thousand crackers blast at once inside me.

I responded to him with equal passion, he bit my lower lip for dominance which I gave happily. He broke the kiss when we are out of breathing and rested his forehead on mine.

"I am falling in love with you wifey" he spoke made me a shock. I looked at him with a smile on my face

"Really," I asked looking at him

"Yes" he spoke, and I smiled and kept my head on his heart

"And I have already fallen" I spoke in a whisper that he won't listen

In the next minute, the most unexpected thing happened in our life because he listened to it and he said the words which I want to hear from a long time

"I love you Aria" he spoke, and I smiled and looked into his eyes

"Say it again," I asked while he held my waist tightly and pulled me towards him and spoke looking into my eyes

"Love you my Aru... I know I am not doing any arrangements for you as I did for saying sorry because saying sorry means accepting my mistake and it should be done in front of all while saying I love you means giving you my heart which should be done only in front of you" he spoke making me smile with tears in my eyes. I am really lucky to have him in my life.

"Love you too Aadiv" I spoke and hugged him back. Today I was so much happy and now I don't need anything more. I was happy with what I had.

He broke the hug after some time, and he lifts me in his arms and walked towards the bed. He placed me on the bed and hovered on me and that is the time he saw the milk glass there

"Why milk??" He asked while I blushed to say the answer to him

"Tell me baby" he spoke, and I smiled more because he spoke baby for me for the first time

"It gives strength for..." I stopped my words in the middle due to shyness but how can he be silent, he pulled me closer by my waist.

"Complete the words baby," he spoke again huskily making me blush more. He buried his face in my neck and was giving wet kisses all over my neck.

"Aadiv milk" I spoke which came out as a moan making him look at me.

"Ok," he spoke and sat on the bed. He took the milk glass and drank half of it and passed me the glass. I too drank it.

The meaning of milk is not only for the strength it's to show that they want to share their life equally with each other from now and starting one for this is milk. Even when we enter a new house we use milk.

Aadiv pulled me on him who was sleeping on the bed. I was about to say something when he kissed my lips which made me shut.

He broke the kiss and hugged me tight

"Good night Aru" he spoke which made me the shock and I looked at him

"Aadiv" I spoke and he looked at me and smiled

"I know what you are thinking, we are not here for any physical relation Aru we are going to spend our entire life and we have so much time for this. But before that let's get to know each other more" he spoke and the respect he had for me increased more. I snuggled more into his arms

"Good night Aadiv" I spoke and heard him saying good night again with a kiss on my forehead. I slept in his arms to welcome a good morning which is going to be very bright because he was with me.
