It's been a week since Rowan had left. Arabella's life had become so lonely with Rowan's absence but yet she endured everything and lived because she was pregnant. She focused on her pregnancy and she didn't think about other things. She was asked by the doctors not to think about things too much or it will affect the baby. She was going to become a mother so she would be careful with everything, including her emotions but she couldn't help it.

Her mind was recalling her about Rowan from time to time and she didn't know how to stop it. Rowan's clothes, the way Rowan slept next to her on the same bed and the way he cuddled her. She remembered everything as she stayed in the same house. Rowan lived in this house for years but she didn't manage to be with him like this before but when she finally started to live with him, he had to leave.


Thinking about all the things, Arabella felt that she was really unlucky. She didn't have the luck to be loved by the man she loves everyday. She sighed and lowered her head as she looked at her belly. She didn't want to think about all the things because she was pregnant. Forcing all the things in her mind back, Arabella took a shower and then changed into a nightgown before going to the bed.

As she laid on the bed, she turned towards the side that Rowan slept. Then she waited for a while like that and slowly closed her eyes wanting to take a good and comfortable sleep. It was a day that Arabella was all alone at the house. The guardian that was taking care of Arabella had gone to find some secret herbs for Arabella. Arabella had become even weaker because of the pregnancy.

So just to regain her strength, her guardian went to find the herbs. After she left, Arabella stayed at home alone without going anywhere. Arabella was somewhat upset and scared with the fact that her guardian was late but she didn't mind it because she knew that the guardian would never have any harm with her abilities and hiding skills. So she decided to sleep desperately.


Soon, Arabella fell asleep. While she was in sleep she felt someone's movements. She didn't know what was happening but she subconsciously felt that someone was walking inside of the room. Arabella's eyes snapped open. She looked around the room turning on the lap on the bedside table but to her surprise, she saw nothing. She couldn't see anything other than emptiness inside of the room.

Letting out a deep sigh, she again laid on the bed and closed her eyes wanting to sleep but she didn't turn off the lamp. Placing her hands against her belly, Arabella slowly drifted into the sleep but again, she was awakened with the same feeling. Sitting up on the bed again, she sighed looking around the room. Then she turned her head and looked at the window of her room.


Nothing was different, everything was the same as before but Arabella was feeling someone was walking inside of the room. Without laying on the bed again, she waited looking outside of the window. Her mind was a mess and she didn't know what was happening and what was going on. She felt fear and she felt loneliness. Without Rowan, everything had become a mess to her. Arabella's eyes filled with tears, she couldn't endure his absence. She just wanted him next to her.

Wiping her tears, she placed her hands against her belly and sighed. Stroking her belly which had a little bump already, she bit her lower lip. Then all of sudden, Arabella again felt that someone was there. She turned her head and looked at the door of the room. Watching the door for a while, she bit her lower lip. She was scared now, she didn't know what was happening inside of the house.

Not wanting to wait here for more, Arabella got up from the bed and took her housecoat before wearing it. Then she simply walked out of the room. As she walked out of the room, Arabella couldn't help but feel that someone was following her, she turned back and looked for a few times but there was nothing. She hurried her steps towards the main door of the house.

"What?" Arabella was shocked.

As she tried to open the door to go out, she couldn't do it. It was as if the door was locked outside. It was obvious that Arabella didn't lock the door from outside. She just locked the door inside of the house and put the key in a place where her guardian could take but when she looked there, she saw the key was still there.

Taking the key, Arabella tried to open the door but it was such a failure. She felt the strange feeling even more. She felt someone was looking at her, horror took over her and she turned and took a few steps back looking at the woman who was standing while looking at her with reddened eyes which were covered with fury and hatred. Arabella was shocked to see her here.

"What are you doing here?" Arabella asked.

Then the woman in front of her stepped closer to her. Eyeing Arabella coldly, she moved her eyes towards her belly. Arabella's heart tightened, she immediately covered her belly with her hands and took a step back wanting to keep the distance from her.

"Where's Rowan?"

Arabella's heart turned cold, her eyes sharpened and she stared at the woman in front of her. It was none other than Milena. Arabella didn't know how Milena came inside and why she was asking for Rowan. This woman has nothing to do with Rowan. Lucien was her man and why the hell is she asking about Rowan now? Arabella thought.

"Why are you asking? Please leave!" Arabella said, looking at her.

Arabella was really angry seeing Milena. Years ago she snatched Lucien from Arabella and now she's asking about Rowan. But there's no way for Arabella to tell Rowan to this woman or let her snatch Rowan from her.

"Rowan is not at home and no one is here. You think that I would not hurt you Arabella? If you don't want me to rip your damn belly, tell me where the hell did Rowan leave!"

Milena's voice was threatening. She stared into Arabella's eyes and said with a smirk on her face. Hearing her words, Arabella's claws extended. She stared at Milena coldly. She was not scared of this woman!

"Rip my belly? My claws are sharper than yours Milena."

Arabella was really angry as she spoke. So Milena was the one who didn't let Arabella sleep peacefully? She thought looking at Milena's face annoyingly. Then a smile appeared on Milena's face and she looked at Arabella's belly.

"You have no ability to carry the crown prince of Treral kingdom!"

Milena's voice was calm as she spoke. Hearing what she said, Arabella was taken back. How does this woman know that the child in her belly was the crown prince of Treral kingdom? Countless questions surged into her mind and she looked at Milena with surprised eyes. Looking at her for a while, she simply looked away.

"Leave! Why are you looking for my man while you have your Lucien?" Arabella asked her.

Then Milena gritted her teeth and stared at Arabella before stepping closer to her and grabbing her from her hair. Arabella felt the pain as Milena pulled her hair. But without screaming, Arabella slapped Milena. Just because Arabella's wolf nails were out, the skin of Milena's face tore.

"Told you my claws are sharp!"

Arabella smirked as she pushed Milena away. Then she tried to open the door wanting to go out of the house but she couldn't because the door was dangerously tight. Turning and looking at Milena who was staring at her with her face bleeding, Arabella clenched her fists.

"Now you can have your Lucien, your mate! I need Rowan"

Milena's words made Arabella go crazy with hatred and anger. Does she need Rowan? Heh… no way! Arabella thought, looking at Milena. Soon Milena turned into a disgusting creature making Arabella shocked on the spot. She stared at Milena and her heart started to hammer against her chest not knowing what to do. She was scared and at the same time she was shocked.

Watching Milena turning into a disgusting creature, Arabella simply shifted into her wolf and pounded onto Milena as she bit Milena's neck, making her scream. With that attack, Arabella ran towards the spare door of the house before running out of the house. She knew that she couldn't fight for so long with her pregnancy, so she decided to escape.
