Arabella stood in front of the window of the room. She was looking out of the peaceful courtyard of Rowan's house. Days flew by within a blink, and now it was time for him to leave. Arabella couldn't help it, she wanted him to stay with her. She placed her hands against her belly and bit her lower lip harder. She wanted to stay stronger and endure everything. She would be okay with this child until he comes back.

"Bella…"


Arabella immediately turned and looked at Rowan who was standing while looking at her. She smiled at him and stepped towards him. Watching his face for a while, she lowered her head. She didn't know how to face this thing. She was going to be alone inside of this house once he's gone. But she knew that there was no choice other than letting him go to win his kingdom back.

"Take care of yourself and have your nutrients. Lucien will come to see you. If anything happens, please ask him to help you"

His words made her heart clenched. She immediately looked into his eyes with disbelief. She didn't know how to believe what he just said. Is he asking her to get Lucien's help? As she watched him with confused eyes, he smiled and talked to her again.


"I can only trust him at this point, Bella, and he's the alpha here. Even if there was a danger for you, he would be the first one to know it. He is the only one who can protect you well. This is his territory and no one would be able to surpass him and hurt you. He will give you the best protection until I come back here"

Arabella sighed and nodded at Rowan. She would believe everything he says. Smiling at him, she hugged him and buried her face against his firm chest. So many emotions were struggling to come out, she was hurt and scared. She wanted him to stay but it was not possible so she just simply let him do what he has to do. Forcing her tears back, she raised her head and looked at him.


"Alright… since I have no feelings for him, I would ask him for his help" Rowan smiled at her and kissed her forehead as she said that to him. He nodded at her and caressed her face, staring at her eyes for a while. He lowered his head and placed his hand against Arabella's belly. Then he sighed and spoke.

"Take care of him, I would come back to both of you"

What Rowan said made Arabella happy. She was really happy when he said that he would come back for them instead of saying that something would happen to him and he would not be able to return. Nodding at him, she smiled, forcing her tears back. She didn't want to cry and she had sworn to herself that she would not say goodbye to him with tears.

She didn't want to cry in front of him today. She made herself stay strong in front of him. She had no idea what would happen once he left but she was not going to cry and sob before him leaving. She wanted to let him know that, that she would wait for him and she would stay strong enduring everything.

"Then I'm leaving now"

Rowan's words stabbed Arabella's heart. She felt the burning pain and she stayed calm for a while without showing him how hurt she was. Then in the next second, she looked at him with a smile. Staring at his emerald eyes for a while, Arabella nodded at him. He was going to leave and she didn't know when she would be able to meet him again but she believed that no matter how many years passed, he would come back to her.

"Take care Rowan. You should come back to me, to us" Arabella raised her hands and touched his face as she whispered. She caressed his handsome face and smiled. There were no tears in her eyes but Rowan could see that she was hurt. All she did was smile at him, not showing her real emotions.

"I will, I will try my best to come back.. I love you" kissing her forehead, Rowan smiled. Arabella let out a beautiful smile and nodded at him. Her heart was beating so fast every time he said that he loved her. So even at this point, she couldn't help it. She was just simply happy.

"I also love you" pecking on his lips she replied. Hugging her against his chest, Rowan chuckled. Arabella felt him kissing her head and after a while she raised her head and looked at his eyes. Lowering his head, Rowan stared at her for a while before lowering his head and pulling her to a passionate kiss.

Arabella kissed him back with everything she had, love, pain and fear. She had hundreds of emotions in her but she never let them out. She was forcing all the pain and fear inside of her heart, she only showed him the love she had for him. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Arabella let Rowan kiss her as much as he wanted. He always liked kissing her and now she's giving her everything to him with that.

After a while, Rowan stopped kissing Arabella. He pulled himself from her and looked at her. Caressing her lips which were covered with his saliva, he smiled at her. Seeing his smile, Arabella couldn't help but smile at him too. She loved when he smiled. Looking into his eyes for a while, she bit her lower lip not knowing what to say. Then Rowan sighed and kissed her forehead again before speaking.

"For you!"

Putting his hand into his pocket and he took a ring out, then he just simply slid it into Arabella's finger making her heartbeat go wild. Arabella looked at the red diamond in the ring and her lips slowly curled upwards to a smile. She was just so happy about the fact that he gave her a ring before leaving just like she wanted.

"Are you happy now?" looking at her, Rowan asked.

"Yes… so happy"

Laughing with what he asked, Arabella replied. She was really happy with it. Then looking at her for a while, Rowan caressed her face again. Then he moved closer to her and simply made her wear the earrings that he gave her a few days ago. Arabella didn't wear them because that day, she was hurt.

And now Rowan was making her wear the earrings that he had bought for her. After he was done, he stared at her beauty for a while and smiled. Arabella touched her earrings and looked at Rowan knowing that Rowan was happy to see her like this. And she also wanted him to be happy.

"Perfection."

Rowan winked at her. Arabella smiled and walked towards the dressing table. She looked at herself through it and smiled. The earrings were really beautiful in her ears. She loved them already. Watching herself for a while, she looked back at Rowan and smiled. Then she walked towards him.

"I love everything you gave," she said.

Rowan smiled at her and nodded. Then he pulled her to a hug again and kissed her head. Arabella's heart was aching, she stayed burying her face against his warm chest and she stayed in his embrace knowing that she would not be able to be like this anytime soon. He was going and she was going to be alone but she couldn't help it.

"It's almost time, I need to leave now. A few warriors from my kingdom are back for me. You should take care of yourself Bella. I love you" she heard him saying.

As she heard him, she hugged him ever tighter not wanting to let him go. But soon she released him and stepped away from him, breaking the hug between them. She was happy and she was happy to be loved by him in her lifetime.

"You should also take care of yourself. Do your best and come, I will be waiting. I love you too Rowan" with her reply, Rowan smiled at her and took a deep breath before turning and walking out of the room. Arabella watched him leaving and then she followed him until the main door of the house.

Standing there, she watched Rowan who was walking out of the house. Then he stopped and talked to Lucien for a while. Patting Lucien's shoulder, Rowan smiled at him. Then Rowan turned back and looked at her with a smile on his face. His smile was everything to her and she smiled back at him. Raising her hand, she waved at him. Soon a few strong men came and lowered their heads in front of Rowan. Then all of them just left.
