"Arabella? You're pregnant? This soon? You're still too young"

Rowan looked at Arabella's mother who was looking at her with angry eyes as she shouted. His heart tightened, he watched her mother's face and clenched his jaws as he felt that Arabella's mother was angry because she was pregnant with his child.


Turning his face, he looked at Arabella. She was lowering her head while listening to her mother. Rowan sighed and rubbed his forehead not knowing what to do. Arabella's brother was not at home, he had gone out with his mate and Arabella's mother was the only one who remains at home. Then suddenly, he felt Arabella was touching his hand. He looked at their hands and saw she had intertwined their fingers together.

"Mom.. What's the matter with it? I can take care of the baby. Rowan is here and you're also here" Arabella's words made his heart go numb. He stared at her and clenched his jaws. He will leave her. He has to leave her soon. But ignoring it, he looked at her and smiled. Arabella also smiled back at him.

"I CAN'T! I can't take care of your kids! Sindy is also pregnant! Who asked you to get pregnant? You always make trouble, Arabella. I can't take care of you! As soon as you broke up with Lucien, you got together with him and are now pregnant!"


Rowan's heart beat increased with anger. He stared at Arabella's mother's cruel eyes as she looked at Arabella. Then he turned his face and looked at Arabella who had tears in her eyes.

She was shocked and hurt to hear her mother. Which mother would yell at her daughter like this? And especially when she was pregnant. Without uttering a word, Rowan got up from the sofa and helped Arabella to get up but she refused. She was looking at her mother with tear filled eyes.


"Mom? It's your grandchild and I'm your daughter. It's okay, you can take care of Sindy since she's Areic's mate but it hurts when you say like that." she said looking at her mother. Rowan's heart was aching, he never expected her mother to treat her like that and she was just simply innocent and she wanted to tell that she was pregnant but how heartless.

"I would have cared about you if it's Lucien's child but not his child!" Those words stabbed both Arabella's and Rowan's heart. Arabella immediately got up from the sofa and hugged Rowan's arm. Rowan looked at the way her eyes let out uncontrollable tears. It was such a heartbreak for her to see her like that.

"How can you mom? How are you saying something like that? Lucien left me! Why can't you accept Rowan's child? It's okay. I don't need you mom. I can take care of myself."

"Let's go Rowan" she looked at Rowan and smiled at him. Rowan's heart filled with pain seeing her. Then he nodded at her and wrapped his arm around her waist before walking towards the door of the house. As they walked out, he turned back and looked at Arabella's mother who was looking at them with reddened eyes and at the same time, her face was angry.

"Why do I need others since I have you. I regret going there" she said while walking. Then Rowan sighed and hummed, hugging her. Walking back home, Arabella sighed and kissed his cheek before walking upstairs. Rowan watched her for a while and followed her. As he entered the room, he saw that Arabella was caressing her belly with an innocent smile on her face.

He saw happiness in her eyes. She was happy with the fact that she was pregnant. And he was also happy. He is going to become a father. And most importantly, the woman she loved is the one who was going to make him a father but as he remembered what Arabella's mother said, his heart tightened. He felt that he cannot leave her like this. She got no one if he left her. But at the same time he couldn't take her with him too.

"Bella, before you come here, you told your mom that you're going to live with me right?" Rowan asked to walk into the room. Arabella looked at him and nodded as she walked towards her and wrapped her arms around his neck. He placed his hands on her hips and smiled at her.

"She said okay! She said as long as I like you and I'm comfortable with you, I can be with you but I don't understand why she's telling us this now!" Arabella sighed and said as she looked at him. Hearing her, Rowan's heart filled with strange feelings. If her mother was okay with everything earlier, why did she act like that so suddenly?

"It's okay, don't think about it now." Rowan said as he kissed Arabella's forehead, then she nodded at him and smiled. Looking at her for a while, he helped her to get on the bed. As she got into the bed, Rowan smiled seeing her. She's just so fucking gorgeous and he felt she had become even gorgeous after getting pregnant.

"I'll make lunch for you" Rowan uttered looking at her. She didn't even eat when she was in her house. She said she was not hungry but Rowan couldn't let her stay without eating because she had to take care of herself. She needs energy for everything. Caressing her face, he turned to leave but she stopped him.

"No need to cook Rowan. There's a pizza that I made, bake it and that's enough" Arabella said.

Rowan looked at her and chuckled then he nodded at her before walking out of the room. As he walked downstairs, suddenly, he heard a sound from the outside of the house. He frowned and waited for a while but he heard the sound again.

Rowan simply walked towards the door and opened it as he walked out of the house. As he opened the door, he saw Milena standing at the door. Rowan's eyes turned cold seeing her. He stared at her for a while and turned to leave because he had nothing to do with this woman but before he could do anything, Milena stopped him.

"Rowan… I need to talk to you. Can we talk?" Milena asked. Rowan immediately pulled his hand from her grip and gritted his teeth angrily because he felt disgusted. He didn't like when some other woman touched him. His heart covered with annoyance and anger. He didn't want to talk to Milena and he had nothing to talk with her.

"Leave! I don't know you." he muttered as he turned to leave but again she grabbed him from his arm making him even furious. He pushed her away angrily. He cursed himself for opening the door and Arabella must be waiting.

"Fucking leave before I would rip your head apart!" He growled.

Then he walked back into the house but before he could close the door, he heard Milena's voice making his heart clench. He felt angry.

"I heard that Arabella is pregnant. But do you know that Arabella and Lucien were seeing each other at night behind our backs? They have been together!"

Rowan's eyes turned cold and his lips slowly curled upwards to a cruel smirk, he turned and gripped Milena from her neck and threw her against the wall making her head hit hard.

"Try to lie one more time, I'll chop your head!" With a warning, he walked into the house angrily. His mood ruined completely as he saw Milena, she's fucking disgusting and he knew who she was. She's a fucking disgusting creature!
