Rowan looked at Arabella who was crying. His heart was hammering against his chest along with pain. He caressed her hand and watched her, not knowing what to tell her. Why didn't he feel that she was pregnant? He sighed and forcefully smiled at her and caressed her face. Arabella watched him and bit her lower lip before removing his hand from her face.

"I trust you Bella…" he muttered looking at her. She watched his face and bit her lower lip hard before lowering her head. Her reactions made his heart ache. He knew that he was wrong and at the same time, he knew that he couldn't hide anything from her anymore. Taking a deep breath, he moved his hand and touched her belly.


His heart was filled with happiness, he's going to be a father. Stroking her belly, he moved closer to Arabella and pulled her to a hug. As he hugged her, she buried her face against his chest and started to cry. Rowan clenched his jaws and he stared out of the window as his heart ached with helplessness. How can he leave now? A week had already passed, he can only stay with her for one more week.

But the hardest thing was that she's pregnant. How the hell is he supposed to leave her now knowing that it would be so fucking hard for her to live without him while being pregnant. He had heard it, he had heard that his mother suffered so much while giving birth to him. With the royal blood of the Treral kingdom, it was such a hard thing. They have so many powers in their blood.

Rowan could heal Arabella completely and pulled the parasite to his body because of the power of his blood. Letting out a deep sigh, he lowered his head and looked at Arabella before kissing her head. Now she's pregnant with his child so she needs his strength, he should be there for her. His heart was clenching as he thought about everything. He has never been this kind of helplessness.


"Are you angry with me?" he asked in a lower voice as he kissed her head again. Arabella didn't answer. She just simply didn't answer him. Rowan subconsciously smiled and he knew that she was angry. Every time she was angry at him, she just simply stayed silent without talking to him.

"Bella, I'm sorry but I just love you so much and I'm so happy that you're pregnant with my child. I will tell you the truth once we are home, okay?" he said. Then Arabella raised her head and looked at him before biting her lips with both anger and annoyance. Rowan couldn't help but smile, she just simply so fucking cute.


"Need to go back to my house" she muttered looking at him. Rowan's heart tightened. He looked at her and his heart felt numb hearing to her. Did she want to move out? She doesn't want to live with him? Countless questions surged into his mind and he stared at Arabella with pain filled eyes. Did her heart hurt this much with what he did? He asked himself before lowering his head.

"Rowan…. I just need to tell my mom and brother that I'm pregnant. I'm just not leaving you." he let out a deep sigh in relief as he looked at Arabella and nodded at her with a smile. Then he kissed her forehead. Looking at her gorgeous face, he smiled. Then he pecked on her lips.

"Carrying him will be so hard, okay? You should stay strong, okay angel?" Rowan said knowing that she will be in pain with his little son growing up inside of her. Arabella smiled at him and nodded. Then she lowered her head and looked at her belly before starting to giggle. Rowan chuckled seeing her.

"Him? How can you say it's a boy?" she asked him. Rowan watched her face for a while and smiled before stroking her belly. Arabella stopped him from doing it and intertwined their fingers together. Of course he knows that it will be a little prince for him. He smirked at Arabella and lowered his head before kissing her neck.

"I know, it's a boy. Giving birth to a boy with my blood will be the hardest thing so you need to be strong, okay? Everyone in our family gave birth to boys at the first. Having girls with our blood is somewhat rare, Bella. It will always be boys" He honestly said, looking at Arabella. That was the truth, he remembered that his mother got pregnant with a little sister for him but she has had a miscarriage.

The power of the blood in him is so hard to be controlled by a woman. That's why they don't have women in their family. There's no women with royal blood. Ignoring it, he looked at Arabella's confused face. Then she parted her lips to tell him something but she stopped as her eyes fell behind him. Rowan watched her for a while and followed her gaze as he turned. Then his heart turned cold seeing Lucien who was standing at the door looking at Arabella.

"Bella… What's wrong with you?"

Ignoring Rowan completely, Lucien walked inside of the room and looked at Arabella with a small smile on his lips. Rowan's eyes turned bloodshot, he stared at Lucien and then looked at Arabella who was looking away. Kissing her forehead, he got up from the bed and faced Lucien.

"She's pregnant Lucien. Nothing is wrong with her for now." He replied with a victorious smile on his face. He had already won the game with Arabella getting pregnant with his child. As he said, he witnessed the way Lucien's pupils shrink. Then he looked at Arabella and parted his lips as if he wanted to speak.

"Pregnant?" His voice was trembling. He looked at Arabella and asked. Rowan watched Lucien's face for a while and sighed before stepping closer to Lucien. He didn't want Lucien to look at Arabella. She's already his woman and he didn't like when Lucien looked at her. It was such an annoying thing.

"Yes.. she's pregnant, Lucien. Aren't you going to congratulate us? She's becoming a mother and I'm becoming a father." Rowan said. Lucien looked at him and forcefully smiled. Rowan saw the pain in Lucien's eyes and he soon regretted telling that kind of thing. Lucien's memories and feelings are back, he had started to love Arabella again and it was obvious that Lucien would feel broken after hearing it.

Which man would like to hear that the girl he loved is pregnant with another man's child? Rowan sighed and patted Lucien's shoulder. Nothing can be changed now, he was not going to give Arabella to anyone and he just loved her so fucking much so all he could do was help Lucien to make up his mind.

"Bella… don't leave me… I'm so sorry about everything that happened between us in the past two years…."

Lucien's eyes covered with tears as he spoke looking at Arabella. Rowan sighed. He clenched his jaws and looked back at Arabella who had tears in her eyes as she looked at Lucien.

"I didn't know… I just didn't know anything.. Please don't leave me…" Lucien said walking towards Arabella. Rowan lowered his head, he clenched his jaws along with his fists and stayed controlling himself. He had sworn to himself that if Arabella ever wanted to go to Lucien, he would let her go because no matter what, they were true mates.

"Why are you so late Lucien? I tried… I tried so hard but now I have given up on you. I'm so sorry but I don't have any feelings towards you anymore. I just love him. Please… don't pull us into this point. I can't turn back to you again and I will not. Please, understand me"

"I don't know what you didn't know about but… it's you who made us like this. I'm sorry.. Please.. Just treat me as a friend and I will do the same"

Rowan looked at Arabella as she spoke. Her eyes were filled with honesty. She looked serious and she was telling the truth. Looking at her for a while, Rowan took a breath. Yes, she was a woman who would not leave someone for someone else. She's faithful. After she said that, she looked at Rowan and smiled, making his heart fill with love for her.
