Arabella looked at Lucien and ignored him completely before looking at Rowan. She felt that her mood was completely changed by the man and woman who just came and disturbed them. She was angry with Milena and that's why she said something like that to her. Milena didn't have to look at Rowan while her husband was standing next to her. Ignoring them completely, Arabella moved her hand and touched Rowan's with a worried look.

"Can we go somewhere else?" she asked him. She was really upset with what happened. She didn't want to stay there anymore and ruined her mood. She wanted to have her meal peacefully so for that, she didn't want any other to disturb both her and Rowan. Rowan watched her face for a while and smiled as he nodded at her and got up from his seat. Then he walked towards and took her hand.


"Rowan… you really don't know how to respect your alpha"

Hearing Lucien's voice. Arabella looked at him. She stared at Lucien's angry eyes before moving them to Rowan who was staring back at Lucien. Seeing them, Arabella felt that they were about to start a fight. She just didn't want something like that to happen.

"Rowan let's go" she muttered standing from the chair. Then she hugged Rowan's arm and looked at Milena who was looking at the mark on her neck clenching her jaws. Arabella didn't know why Milena was suddenly acting like this but she didn't mind either. She had nothing to do with Milena.


"Keeping a woman I once fucked, you feel so respectable?"

Arabella's whole body tightened hearing what Lucien said. She subconsciously looked at him and stared at his face as her heart filled with anger. Raising her hand, she slapped hard across Lucien's face without waiting for a second. If it was before, she will always feel hurt but now, there was no hurt. It was just anger and disgust she held toward Lucien.


Her slap attracted the attention of some people who were dining and at the same time it made both Lucien and Rowan shocked. She clenched her jaws angrily and looked into his blue eyes before parting her lips to speak. She was done getting insults by this bastard. She was done with everything. To her, he was nothing but a man now. There were no feelings or emotions in her anymore.

"Are you even a respectable man to ask something like that from him? Shut your mouth Lucien, I don't mind even if you're the alpha of this pack but I am telling you to don't cross your line and tell it to this woman of yours too.."

"Both Rowan and I are respectable to have each other. I hope you will not say something like that in front of us. And being with you is the most regrettable thing I ever did. Disgusting" she said as she looked into Lucien's eyes. As she said that, she saw the way hurt flashed across his eyes but she didn't know why.

To him, she was just nothing so there was no possibility for him to get hurt by her words. Staring at him coldly for a while, she looked at Rowan and sighed. Rowan was looking at Lucien with cold eyes and Arabella didn't miss the way his jaws clenched angrily. She hugged his arm and looked up at him as he lowered his head and looked at Arabella before smiling at her.

"Lucien… we didn't offend you. Just don't bother us or I'll make you regret. I have already warned you. To me, you're not my alpha" Rowan's words were way too powerful. Arabella saw something that made her heart skip a beat with unknown feelings. As he said that to Lucien, a thin gold line moved across his emerald orbs. She stared at his eyes and lowered her head not knowing what was that.

Rowan was always a silent guy. He never spoke much. If he ever talked to someone on his own, it has always been her. She remembered that he came after her when he was a kid wanting to talk to her but always Lucien stopped him and after they grew up, he didn't come after her like before. He just stayed far away from her and just simply smiled if their eyes met. Remembering that past, Arabella's heart tightened. She didn't know why she couldn't choose the correct man.

Instead of following Lucien, she had to talk with Rowan too. She sighed and looked at Rowan again. It was okay now, even though they missed some time, they are finally together. She was happy to be with him and now her heart was living with him. Not wanting to stay there anymore, she walked while pulling Rowan's arm with her. A chuckle escaped from Rowan and he followed her as they walked out of the restaurant.

"They ruined my mood" she muttered while walking.

Then Rowan hummed and continued walking. His reaction made Arabella's heart tightened. She looked at him and bit her lower lip. Was he upset because of what Lucien said? She asked herself as her eyes turned red with helplessness. It must be that, because which man would like to hear from other men that his woman slept with others. Her heart ached with that thought.

She cursed for her own stupidity. She stopped and slowly pulled her hand back from Rowan's arm. Lowering her head, she waited for while not knowing how to face him and how to react regarding this matter. She was not a virgin when she slept with him and she was used by Lucien.

"Bella what's wrong?" she heard Rowan's voice. Raising her head, she looked up at him with tear filled eyes. His eyes immediately turned into a worried expression. Tears rolled down from her eyes and she knew that she was being unreasonable but she couldn't help it. She regretted it. She just regretted everything. She regretted being with Lucien.

"Rowan… you upset because of what Lucien said?" she asked with her broken voice. As she asked, Rowan stared at her for a while and stepped towards with a gentle smile on his face. He caressed her face and shook his head. Even though he shook his head, that didn't help Arabella. She felt guilty and hurt.

"No.." he muttered, kissing her forehead. As he did that, she clutched his shirt tightly and rested her forehead against his chest. She was unhappy, she was regretting and she was scared. What if Rowan also found another woman? What if his mate came back? She asked herself as her tears uncontrollably rolled down from her eyes.

"Rowan… I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being pure for you" she sobbed, hugging him so tightly. As she started to sob, Rowan hugged her back and kissed her head. Her heart was aching with those thoughts and she just simply felt fear about everything. She was scared. She was scared to lose him knowing that he loved her so much.

"Did I ever say anything to you Bella? I don't mind. He was your mate and I can understand. I don't mind the past, all I mind is about the present and the future. As long as you're staying away from him, it will make me happy" he kissed her and said, making her heart fill with love for him. He was an understanding man and she was lucky to have him. She would do everything he says. She would stay away from everyone for him.

"I will… I will do it. I don't feel anything for him now. He's just nothing but a man to me" she said with an honest expression on her face. Then he smiled at her and nodded with a kiss to her forehead. Seeing his smile, Arabella couldn't help but feel relief. She loved seeing his smile and it was just so honest and lovely. She tipped her toes and kissed his cheek with a smile.

"Let's go.. Now I'm starving"

Rowan moved closer to her and whispered against her ear with a kiss to her earlobe. Her body shuddered with what he did and she immediately pushed him away. He was being shameless again. Touching her intimately in front of everyone.
