"Lucien you look so handsome,"

Lucien looked at his mother as she said that. He smiled at her and lowered his eyes as he looked at his outfit. It was his wedding day, two weeks had passed so instantly. But he didn't know why his heart was not ready to get married. Raising his head, he again looked at his mother who was smiling at him. He sighed and moved closer to his mother as he hugged her so tightly. His heart was not in a good state with all those feelings he was having so he needed someone to comfort him.


"I can't believe my son is getting married. You're a big man now" she said while kissing his head. Lucien chuckled, then he broke the hug and looked at his mother. She looked so happy but he knew that it was the happiness for him and not for the marriage. Because she never wanted him to marry Milena. All she wanted to do was make him marry Arabella. But he will not marry a woman instead of his mate.

"Well, let's go. Everything is ready" his mother said. Nodding at his mother, he looked at the room a few feet away from where he was as he sighed. He knew that Milena was inside with her stylish. So she will come after he goes there.

Then Lucien walked out of the house as his mother followed him. Then suddenly, his sister walked to him and stared at him with her familiar emotionless eyes. His heart clenched seeing her. It was obvious that his sister was not happy with the wedding at all. He knew that she didn't like Milena but he couldn't help it. How can he just simply throw Milena away while knowing that she was his mate? It was impossible.


"You are really marrying that bitch huh? Well Lucien, I can swear that you will regret marrying that monster" she said angrily making his heart clenched. He stared at his sister and clenched his jaws without uttering a word. He sighed and calmed himself without talking to her. He didn't want to argue with her because he had had this argument with her for over two damn years.

"Stop it Liliya.. Don't!"


His mother warned her and she smirked before walking away. Lucien sighed and shook his head before looking at his mother and smiling. Then he took her hand and went where the wedding was about to be held. As he entered the hall, he looked everywhere through the hall wanting to see someone but he didn't see her. Walking towards the stage, he stopped as he got on to it. Then he waited looking at the entrance of the hall, the wedding was about to begin and Lucien lowered his head thinking that she was not coming.

He clenched his fists and took a deep breath. He didn't know why but for some unknown reason, he wanted to see her for the last time before getting married to Milena. No matter what, she was the girl he used to love and date. And at the same time, his wolf was forcing him not to get married with Milena. He was really curious about his wolf's sudden change.

As he waited, suddenly, he raised his head and looked at the entrance of the hall as his heart suddenly started to beat so fast. He clenched his jaws, and then watched Arabella and Rowan who just entered the hall. He didn't pay attention to Rowan, all he had his eyes on were Arabella. She was gorgeous and her beauty made his heart skip a beat and his wolf started to giggle inside of him seeing her.

Wearing a one shouldered dark red long gown, she walked into the hall with her hand wrapped around Rowan's arm. Lucien's mind was in daze, he stared at her. This is what he expected from his woman. Elegant and gorgeous. But remembering Milena's wedding dress his heart was covered with disappointment. With clumsy feelings filled heart, he watched both Arabella and Rowan.

Walking towards a table, Rowan pulled a chair out for Arabella and made her sit on it. Then he simply bent down and fixed her dress. Arabella giggled and placed her hand on his shoulder as he did that. Then after he was done, he pulled a chair out and sat next to Arabella as he took her hand and intertwined their fingers together.

Lucien didn't miss anything. His eyes never moved from them. His mind filled with unclear images as if he had forgotten something important to him. He didn't know, he didn't want to do this. He didn't know why he's feeling like this. Because he had never felt this way before. Two years had passed but, he never felt this kind of feelings towards Arabella but now he's feeling that he was going to lose her completely.

Soon his eyes fell on Milena who was coming into the hall. Seeing her, his heart tightened. He felt guilty and he felt lost. But he forced his feelings back and focused his mind on her as she walked towards him. Then he gave his hand as she placed her hand on his hand and got into the stage as she smiled at him brightly. Lucien smiled at her and moved his face as he looked at Arabella who was looking at them.

His heart clenched seeing the small smile on her face. After so many days, she's again smiling at him but that smile made his heart go numb. It was the smile of final goodbye. He looked away from her and looked at Milena. Milena was not as beautiful as Arabella and his heart clearly knew it. But ignoring everything, he decided to focus on his mate. Milena will be the woman of his life from now on and there's no going back.

After some time, the vow giver started to say the vow loudly. Lucien waited for a while before following the vow and saying it. He again looked at Arabella who had tears in her eyes but yet she was smiling at him. His heart tightened and then he started to tell the vow. As he finished saying it Milena also said it as he became her husband while she became his wife. Then they exchanged rings.

Even if it happened that way, his heart was aching. He clenched his jaws and took a deep breath, calming himself down. Then he kissed Milena's lips making her giggle. His heart was aching and he felt hurt. He wanted to look at Arabella's face but he didn't have the courage to do it.

"It's time for you to mark her as Luna"

He nodded hearing the vow giver and closed his eyes. His heart was beating fast, his wolf was forcing him not to do it but he couldn't help it. Wrapping his arm around her waist, Lucien pulled Milena to him. Then he lowered his head and placed her sharp teeth against her marking spot.

His wolf was pulling him back with everything he had but Lucien didn't let his wolf take control. He didn't look at Arabella's face, he waited for a while and took a deep breath before piercing his teeth into Milena's flesh as he marked her. As soon as he marked her, he felt weird. He felt a weird taste of her blood but he ignored it and marked her.

All of a sudden, Lucien felt something was broken. It was just like a feeling. His wolf let out a painful cry and he went completely silent. Lucien immediately pulled his teeth out of Milena's neck and looked at her to see that she was smiling at him with happiness. He forced a smile and turned his head as he looked at Arabella who was sitting.

She had her one hand against her chest and her head was lowered. But he saw the way her hand trembled. She was in pain, he felt it and he was also in pain. Soon, she raised her head and looked at him with tear filled eyes but she smiled at him. His eyes reddened and his mind went blank seeing her.

Without waiting for so long, Arabella got up from the seat and walked out of the hall as Rowan also followed her. He took off his coat and covered Arabella with it, then hugging her tightly, he took her out of the hall. After she left, Lucien felt that his whole life went empty. He didn't know why but he felt so empty and lonely.

"Welcome Luna.."

He was pulled back from his thoughts as he heard the vow giver saying it. He sighed and looked at Milena before smiling at her. He shouldn't think about Arabella anymore. All he should think about was Milena.
