"Rowan? You're taking me home?"

Arabella asked as Rowan carried her towards her house. Then he lowered his head and looked at her. Then he smiled at her and nodded. She felt embarrassed because of the things Lucien said in front of Rowan. Tears filled in her eyes again and she sighed.


"Rowan, I'm sorry and put me here, I'll go home in a while" she muttered and patted his shoulder asking him to put her down but he didn't do it, he just stayed without saying a word. He wasn't going to leave her alone after everything.

"You want to go to my place? Just to relax?" he asked.

Then Arabella watched him for a while and smiled at him helplessly without uttering a word. Hearing Rowan sighing, she again bit her lower lip but before she could even answer his question, he changed direction and took her to his home. Placing her on the ground, he opened the door of his house and led her into the house.


Looking everywhere inside of his house, Arabella looked at him with a surprised look. The house was completely clean and calm. It was a good place for anyone who wanted to relax their minds. Rowan had arranged everything perfectly. His house was not so big but just amazing. She smiled and looked at him as she saw he was looking at her too.

"It's a nice place," she muttered.


Rowan chuckled and nodded as he closed the door behind him. Then walking into the house, he suddenly stopped and looked back at Arabella with a smile.

"Take a shower, go upstairs and the first room is mine. Take a shirt with you" he said as she walked into the house. Arabella watched him for a while and smiled as she walked upstairs. It was the first time she's inside of his house. She never paid attention to him before because her mind was only with Lucien all the time.

Her heart again filled with hurt because of the thought of Lucien. Her mind was repeating the words he used to call her and how he insulted her as a bad recorder. Her eyes filled with tears and she felt helpless and her life was just miserable. Wiping her tears, she entered Rowan's room and looked around. Everything in his room was designed with dark gray.

For some unknown reason she felt that something was strange, suddenly she remembered the way his eyes turned sharp while he was fighting with Lucien. He had successfully fought with Lucien ignoring the fact that Lucien was an alpha. She forced her thoughts back and sighed, then walking towards the wardrobe, she slightly opened it as she took a shirt out. Then without doing anything she entered the washroom.

Setting the warm water, she walked under it after removing her clothes. She felt comfortable as the warm water kissed her skin. She just wanted nothing but to wash the pain away. Even if it was not a physical pain, she just wanted to wash.

Suddenly, she felt an unbearable pain in her lower body. Her body went numb and she lost her balance. Placing her trembling hands on her abdomen she bit her lower lip wanting to endure the pain as she always did but she failed. She failed because Lucien was having sex with Milena aggressively.

His every action hurt Arabella brutally. Tears rolled down from her eyes and she felt the parasite in her body was acting again. Raising her arm, she tried to turn off the shower but she didn't manage to do it. Taking heavy breaths and her body was aching. Water was dripping down through her body without a limit.

She clenched her fists and tired to endure every pain she was feeling but she failed as her vision slowly turned dark but she didn't let herself faint. She bit her lower lip and stopped it. Lowering her eyes, she looked at her body, the parasite's venom was spreading everywhere inside of her body. Her creamy white skiing was turning blue with weird designs. She couldn't even get up to look at herself through the mirror.

She wanted to call Rowan but it was also used less because of the water splashing sound. She helplessly sighed and caressed her thighs with her trembling hands. Her eyes were red and she was crying helplessly. She was waiting for Lucien to stop fucking Milena, because every time he did it she got nothing but unbearable pain.

"Bella?"

She looked up as she heard Rowan's voice, she sighed in relief seeing that he's in front of the washroom. She wanted to speak to him but words didn't come out and also her voice. She again tried to get up from the floor but she failed because of the pain in her lower body and legs.

"Fuck! I'm coming in" she let out a deep sigh hearing him. Then she heard the sound of the door opening as Rowan entered.

She looked at his shocked expression seeing her body, he clenched his jaws and immediately looked away from her as he grabbed a towel and walked towards her. Without even looking at her naked body, he turned off the shower and wrapped her with the towel. Then lifted her up as he placed her on the countertop.

"What happened?"

He asked her as he started to wipe her body. She forcefully smiled at him and lowered her head not knowing how to answer. Then suddenly Rowan cupped her face and made her face him. Arabella looked at his emerald eyes and immediately looked away, she had no power to look into his eyes because they were just so strange.

"Is this happening because of the parasite?" he asked.

Arabella nodded and sighed. Then she felt him caressing her face, and his hands slowly moved to her neck as he traveled his fingers on the dark blue color designs on her neck. Then he sighed and removed his hands from her.

"Does it hurt?" he asked her with a small smile on his face. Arabella couldn't help but smile seeing his face and because of his dumb question. Of course, it hurts her every time it happens. Those blue designs are nothing but venom the parasite released.

"It hurts Rowan, still hurts" she answered and lowered her head looking at her hands. She caressed her own hands and waited for a while. Lucien was still doing it and her lower body was just burning with pain.

"You want me to make the pain go away?"

Arabella's heartbeat increased hearing him. She looked at his face and bit her lower lip without knowing what's the meaning behind his words. He was smiling as he whispered that. She waited for a while and then lowered her face.

"How?" she asked.

Then she heard him chuckling and moving his face closer to her neck, then he whispered something which made her heart both freeze and beat so fast.

"Once I mark you, all the pain will go away. Take your time to think about it" he smiled and said as he moved away from her. Then he grabbed the shirt she took to the washroom and gave it to her.

"Can you help yourself?" he asked. She smiled at him and nodded. Rowan looked away from her and stayed until she changed into the shirt. Arabella looked at him, she clearly knew the meaning. He was asking her to be mated with him, but can she really do that? She still loves Lucien no matter how hard he hurt her.

"Rowan, give me sometime. I know that I should move on from everything but are you willing to take me knowing what has happened to me?" she asked him honestly.

Then he looked at her and smiled. Caressing her wet hair, he watched her face for a while before answering her question.

"Yes, your past doesn't affect me , Bella. I also have a past that no one would ever believe and life is like that. If we start a relationship it will always depend on us and the both trust and love we hold for each other. Just don't mind anything, no one has forbidden us being together right? So think and make a decision."
