"Stay here!"

Rowan whispered against Arabella's ear as he simply stood up and walked away from the bush they were hiding. Arabella was shocked, tears filled in her eyes because of the fear. She wanted to stop him from leaving but she was just too late because Rowan had already taken off his shirt and pants.


Then in the next second, he shifted into his black wolf. She looked at his huge wolf in daze, the wolf was beautiful and strong. Even though the wolf was completely black, he had a thick golden line around his neck as if he was wearing a golden necklace. Her heart was beating fast with both horror and an unknown feeling.

Looking at him, she remembered Lucien and the way he protected her yesterday night. But she knew it was because he didn't want to let her die and not because of the love or care. She shook her head and completely threw the thoughts of Lucien away from her head as she clenched her jaws and took off the jacket she was wearing. She was going to help Rowan, she won't let him fight alone.

Soon she gasped hearing the furious growl of Rowan's wolf, looking at him, she saw he was gritting his teeth and looking at the creatures in front of him. The look he had on him was dangerous, saliva was dripping down through his sharp teeth. This is the first time she was seeing his wolf like this and she never saw his wolf before. But for some unknown reason, she felt Rowan's wolf was an alpha. She subconsciously felt something strange seeing his strong and dangerous wolf.


There were four creatures and they were all looking at him as if they were ready to hunt him. She was scared, she just didn't want anything to happen to him and if anything happened here she would also kill herself and will never go back to their pack. He came because of her.

Rowan didn't waste time, he pounded into one creature and bit the shoulder as the creature cried from pain. Then at the same time, other three creatures started to attack him. Rowan killed two but he was already injured because of the sharp nails the creatures had. Arabella watched him with tears and she felt helpless because her body was also weak.


Ignoring the fact that she was weak, she immediately took off her t-shirt and shorts as she shifted into her snow white wolf and pounded onto the creature who was about to attack Rowan from behind. She didn't waste time to rip the head of that creature apart. But she was shocked to see a few more creatures were running towards them.

At the same time she heard a furious growl from Rowan and she looked at him as she saw he was looking at her with fury. She knew that it was because she attacked them while he asked her to stay away. Ignoring his growl, she moved closer to him and started to fight. Her body was numb, the parasite inside of her body was sucking her blood aggressively.

But yet she fought ignoring every numbness and every pain in her body. Finally, she sighed in relief as they killed more than ten creatures. She walked towards the bush and collapsed on the ground as she shifted back. Then Rowan's wolf came and grabbed the jacket she was wearing as he threw it onto her naked body while looking away.

Arabella couldn't help but smile seeing how careful he was, not only Rowan but also his wolf. Then he gathered his clothes from his mouth and walked away. Arabella watched him leaving and she bit her lower lip. She felt that he was angry because she didn't listen to him but she didn't regret what she did.

She sighed and changed into her clothes as she waited for Rowan. After a while, he came and looked at her with emotionless eyes. Arabella felt nervous seeing his angry gaze, she slowly lowered her head and bit her lower lip hard.

"We are going back!"

He simply said as he walked past her, she waited for a while without following him and looked back at him. She didn't want to go back, she wanted to find what's happening with her but she knew it was just too dangerous.

"Rowan.."

She followed him and grabbed him from his arm as she stopped him walking without her. Then he looked at her and raised his eyebrows. She looked into his emerald eyes and sighed. He was really angry at her.

"I'm sorry for not listening to you," she muttered.

Arabella hoped he would understand because he was someone who understood everything properly. She wanted to help him without letting him get hurt and especially, it was because of her. She made him come here so she had to take the risk.

"It's alright" he patted her head and said with a small smile on his face.

"But we should go back, Arabella, it's been six hours since we came here and it's already getting dark. Let's go, this place is dangerous when the night comes. You know it Bella."

He said holding her hand and walking back. She watched him for a while and let out a deep sigh as she nodded at him. It was really dangerous and maybe she won't find what she wanted so there's no need for doing this. If she had to die, she would die no matter what.

"About it, I'll do something. Don't worry, I will find a way to cure you"

He smiled at her and uttered. Then she nodded at me with a smile. His words are just enough for her even if he couldn't find a way. His words are more valuable than anything. Her eyes turned moist and she slowly rested her forehead against his chest as he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly.

Then after some time they walked towards where they entered the forest. As they finally came to the normal forest. Rowan picked her up and stepped on the fallen tree as he jumped on the ground. Arabella laughed because of what he did. Then placing her on the ground he smiled.

Suddenly, Arabella felt someone was looking at them, she moved her eyes and looked at the man who was looking at them. His eyes were filled with rage, he was clenching his jaws along with his muscles. Her heart tightened seeing him and she looked into his blue eyes without moving her eyes away from him.

"ROWAN!" he roared.

Then strode towards them and grabbed Rowan from his collar as he punched hard across his face. Arabella gasped and she was shocked because of what happened and seeing the way Rowan's lip bled because of his punch.

"What are you doing Lucien? Get away from him"

She yelled and walked in front of Rowan as she covered him with her little body without giving a chance to Lucien to hit him again. She couldn't understand why he punched Rowan for nothing.

"Fuck off you whore. I'm talking to him!"

Lucien pushed Arabella away from Rowan as he shouted. Tears filled in her eyes hearing what he just called her. Whore? How can she be a whore? Her heart shattered into pieces as he said that. He was the man she loved and it really hurt her when he called her a whore.

"What the fuck did you say? You fucking bastard!"

Rowan's eyes turned sharp and dangerous. He grabbed Lucien from his collar and threw him against a tree and then punched across his face. Arabella's body was trembling seeing them fighting. She couldn't understand how Rowan was fighting against an alpha.

"Why? Did it hurt your feelings Rowan? She's whore and that's it. She came to me yesterday telling that she's my mate and now she's letting you fuck her. How did it feel? So tasty?"

Lucien spattered the blood out and smirked as he said that. Arabella was frozen on the spot. She was looking at him with wide eyes, she couldn't believe it, she just didn't expect this kind of hatred from him. How can he speak to her like that? He was her first man and he was the one who took her virginity and now he's calling her a whore.

"Me fucking her doesn't have anything to do with a bastard like you Lucien. I'm not fucking afraid of you even if you're my fucking alpha. Why don't you just go and fuck your corspe like whore instead of looking at her?"

"Or does it hurt to see her with me?"

Rowan smirked back at Lucien and asked. Gritting his teeth, Lucien pushed Rowan away from his body and punched him again. Lucien was furious and also Rowan. Looking at the strong two men who were fighting as if they were ready to kill each other.

"Stop it… Rowan.. Just come" she muttered, wiping her tears helplessly.
