"What the fuck did you say? She went there with him?" Lucien roared.

Slapping the desk in front of him, he looked at the man in front of him. He was furious after hearing that. His wolf was letting out angry growls, which made him even more furious. He clenched his fists and waited for a while without speaking.


Arabella went into the dark forest with Rowan? His heart was beating fast and at the same time he felt he's going to lose something important. His heart was hammering against his chest, he was feeling unknown feelings which he had not felt in the past two years after the breakup with Arabella.

"You saw them?" he asked the man.

"Yes, they were holding hands and Arabella was wearing Rowan's t-shirt beneath his jacket"


A growl escaped from Lucien hearing what the man said. He didn't want to believe it and he just didn't want to see them together. Suddenly, his head ached as a few memories surged into his mind.

"Lucien, I'm wearing this. You can just go home without a shirt!" Arabella looked back at him and uttered as she wore his shirt with a smile. He smirked looking at her creamy white legs which were exposed as she wore his shirt.


"Why don't you let me do it one more time before chasing me away?" he chuckled.

"No I'm tired" she immediately said as she ran out of the room and at the same time Lucien's vision turned dark all alone with her disappearing figure as he was pulled back to the really from his memories.

He was shocked, what was that memory? Did he ever stay with her like that or did that moment happen in his life? He doesn't remember, he just doesn't remember anything at all. He cursed under his breath thinking that it was just an illusion and then he sighed and looked at the man again.

"Any reason why they went there?" he asked.

Then the man shook his head and lowered his head without looking at his alpha's angry eyes. Lucien clenched his jaws and nodded at him as he dismissed the man from his study room. He didn't know why he was upset and scared after hearing what he said.

She went with Rowan.. Did she fall for him? And don't like me anymore? He asked himself as she started to pull his hair insanely. He was just going crazy with the thought of Arabella loving another man instead of him.

He didn't want her and he didn't love her, he only loves Milena and she was his everything but he couldn't understand why his heart was betraying him and thinking about Arabella after two fucking years. He was all okay with Milena for two years and he didn't want to hurt her feelings in any way but he felt that something was wrong.

After the breakup with Arabella, he felt nothing about her. He just enjoyed her tears and cries as she came to him and begged him to be with her but now her tears made his heart clenched. After seeing her with Rowan earlier, his heart hurt in an unknown manner.

"Lucien,"

He forced his thoughts back and looked at his mother who just came into the study room with a worried face. He forcefully smiled at her and walked towards her as he kissed her cheek. Then he sighed.

"I heard what he said, what do you feel about that?"

The question his mother aimed at him was really hard, how do he feel about it? He was fucking lost and his mind was a mess and also he just wanted to ho to the fucking dark forest and dragged her out of it while leaving Rowan alone.

"I don't feel anything mom. Why would I feel anything about them? That's good if they can be with each other so she won't bother me anymore"

Betraying his wolf's and his own heart, he uttered. Actually he didn't know what was happening with him and he knows that he shouldn't care about her staying with Rowan. He should not betray Milena. She is the woman he loves and his everything, so yes, he didn't want to think about that damn woman and didn't want to feel anything about her.

"I see, you really don't love her anymore. Alright then, I hope Arabella would fall for Rowan because he had been waiting for her for years." his mother smiled at him and walked out of the study room leaving him utterly speechless.

He didn't want her to fall for Rowan and at the same time he didn't want her too. He was helpless as if he was thrown into a deadly maze where no one can see an exit or entrance. He really doesn't love her anymore and that's the fact but why does he just still have some weird feelings towards her?

His wolf was also attracted to her so suddenly, he was clumsy and wanted to see her. After two years, this is the first time this thing happened. He just felt like something was missing and he just forgot about something important to his life.

"No! Milena is my everything and I shouldn't be like this. She's the woman I love and I'm going to marry so focus on her" he whispered as he warned his wolf too.

Then he walked out of the study room and got out of the house, he walked without a sense. He didn't know where he was going. After walking for so long, he stopped and looked at the place he came to. His heart tightened seeing him standing in front of the dark forest, he didn't know why he came here subconsciously.

Did he come here just because Arabella was inside of it with Rowan? He didn't know how to answer for himself, including the deadly question he just asked himself. He stared at the forest and clenched his jaws remembering what the man said to him earlier.

They were holding hands and Arabella was wearing Rowan's clothes. His eyes turned sharp and cold with all those thoughts, he knew about the forest more than anyone. And at the same time he knew how dangerous it was. There were creatures in it, no one knows what they are and what they can do.

But it was obvious that Rowan would protect her with his life. As a strong man, it would be easy for Rowan to protect her but his heart didn't want it and he was just annoyed by his sudden feelings. Just fucking annoying.

Taking a deep breath, he turned to leave, ignoring the fact that Arabella was in. He didn't want her so why would he just care about her? He chuckled sarcastically with his thoughts and walked away but suddenly, he was stopped in dead tracks with a sharp pain through his head and arms.

"Arghh…"

He groaned and clutched his head with both hands as he bent down. His head was about to explode and the pain was something he couldn't bear. He closed his eyes and clenched his jaws wanting to endure it but it increased making his body go numb.

It's been two years since he was suffering from this fucking head pains. He just didn't know the reason for that, even if he met so many doctors, they said nothing about the pain. They just simply said that his body was healthy and there was no way for him to have that kind of headache.

"FUCK!" he cursed.

Finally the pain slowly faded away, Lucien stood up and rubbed his forehead as he looked around. He didn't notice, but his eyes were dangerously red and a thick blood line was dripping down from his nose unknowingly.

Soon he felt something was dripping down from his nose and he wiped it back off his palm, then his heart froze seeing that it was blood. What was happening with him? He asked as he slowly turned back and looked at the dark forest. Soon he heard the voice of a woman echoing inside of it as if she was singing the same song which Arabella was singing when he saw her earlier.
