Feeling the scent of Lucien, Arabella turned her face and looked in the direction as she saw he was leaving but that didn't matter because she got nothing to do with his own thing. She was hurt beyond imagination and she really didn't have the strength to follow him.

He had hurt her enough with his fake mate, forgetting all memories and pushing her away from his life, he had really wanted to get rid of her. Not only that, he's going to marry Milena now as if the promises he gave were just words and he was not serious with those promises.


"Move on Bella, that's what you can do for yourself"

She heard Rowan, then she looked at him and nodded with a small smile playing on her lips. He was right, she should move on and let go of the past, maybe she will have someone who will love her without a limit but she was scared because she will not be able to live until that time.

"Rowan, let's go for a walk. I need to go there"


Pointing her finger at the darkest part of the forest she smiled at him. Rowan gazed at the place she pointed her finger and shook his head. He won't let her go there because that place was extremely dangerous.

"No Bella, you shouldn't go there." he sighed and said as he held her hand.


Then she looked at him with innocent eyes as if she was begging him to take her there. Looking at Arabella's face Rowan sighed and shook his head. He was not an irresponsible guy, he knew what's inside of that part of the forest so he's not gonna let her go there.

"Bella, remember what happened to you last night? If we go there that will be the same thing. Both of us could die there" he explained.

Then she innocently watched him for a while and nodded at him with an understanding gaze but her heart was not telling that, she wanted to go there, she wanted to see what's inside of it. Because she felt something was wrong with her and the parasite in her body was reacting to that place.

When she was about to get attacked last night, the parasite sucked her blood aggressively. She felt it and her body became numb but maybe there's a way for her to remove that parasite from her body.

So she just needs to take a risk and find a way for that. Everything has a solution and everything needs to be solved and that's the way the world works. Looking at Rowan's face she smiled at him.

"You're really stubborn Bella, I know that you are going to go there no matter what I said." he sighed.

Then she smiled at him brightly and nodded. He really understood her even without spending time with her. She knew that all he did was look at her from far away but he knew her more than Lucien does. She was somewhat happy because there's a guy who cares about her. With a smile on her face, she got up from the rock.

"Why don't we go now?" she asked.

Then Rowan also got up from the rock and looked at her. She was looking at the darkest part of the forest but her eyes were glowing and sparkling seeing that place. Then she again looked at Rowan and sighed.

"Let's take a risk Rowan, I have no one now, only my brother and mother and you're also the same but we should live. So let's take a risk and go there. I promise I won't come out without you"

Her words were dangerously honest, she knew that Rowan was someone with a good heart but he was rejected by his mate but that didn't even affect him because his heart already belonged to another girl and it was Arabella.

"Fine, but you cannot go like this," he finally said.

She looked at her dress and sighed. Then looking at him with a worried face she bit her lower lip nervously.

"Let's go, there's my clothes inside of the cottage" he sighed.

She looked at Rowan's face, he was helpless because of her. He didn't want to hurt her feelings so he's doing everything for her. Moving closer to him, she kissed his cheek with a smile making his heartbeat go wild. Then she walked towards the cottage as he followed her.

Taking a black t-shirt, he gave it to her. Arabella looked at his t-shirt and her heart tightened remembering that she used to wear Lucien's clothes. Her eyes turned red with hurt because of memories but she forcefully held them back as she looked at Rowan.

He smiled at her and walked out of the cottage, as he waited outside. Then Arabella removed the dress she was wearing and changed into the t-shirt. It was really big to her, comparing Rowan's muscular body with hers she sighed helplessly.

Then she suddenly saw her brother's clothes. A smile appeared on her face as she jogged towards his clothes and searched for them. She felt that she won the whole world seeing there's a pair of denim shorts of hers with his clothes.

This cottage was used by the best warriors in the pack and Rowan and her brother were among them. She was also a warrior but Lucien forbade her from going for missions with others when they were lovers but there's a cloth of her with her brother's.

Changing into the denim shorts and tying her hair to a ponytail, she tied the knot of the t-shirt, she walked out of the cottage and smiled at Rowan. He watched her head to toe and chuckled before looking away without looking at her for so long.

"Let's go," she said, walking towards him. Then he nodded at her and took off his jacket as he covered her with it. Then he held her hand and walked towards the place they were going to go.

Arabella, looked at Rowan who was holding her hand protectively. Scanning his face for a while, she found he was handsome. With a smile she moved closer to him.

"Rowan, why did your mate reject you?" she asked.

Then his body stiffened, he looked at her and forcefully smiled. Without answering her question, he helped her to climb on the fallen tree on the ground which was separating the dark forest and their forest.

She climbed onto it and looked at the dark forest, even if it was morning, the dark forest held the aura of evening. She sighed, she knew this thing would be dangerous but she needed to go there, she wanted to live. She looked at Rowan and her heart clenched, he still didn't let go of her hand after he held her before walking here.

"She said I was not honest" he looked at her and answered.

Arabella smiled hearing his answer, he was not honest and it was the truth. Arabella knew that at that time he had feelings for her so no wonder why his mate said that with rejection.

"You don't want to be honest?" she asked.

With a serious look, he looked at her. Then nodded as he jumped down from the fallen tree and helped her to jump down too. His expression was pure and calm, she watched him for a while and smiled because he's really late to reply to her questions.

"You know Arabella, don't pretend that you don't know" he stared into her eyes and muttered making her look away from his eyes.
