The car Rey was driving stopped right in front of the Der Beste building. Luana, who was sitting right in the front passenger seat, unfastened her seatbelt, with Rey doing the same.

Especially for this afternoon, the nobleman had cleared the schedule and asked Jovi to continue the work that was still pending.

For he had planned to join his wife's club meeting, as well as question Valerie about the procedure for switching clubs.

After careful consideration, it seems that Rey will choose to be in the same club as his wife. That way, he wouldn't have to worry about bad things that might happen to Luana, because he would be by her side.

Another consideration was that Luana was pregnant with their child, of course.

"Come on, Rey." Turning toward the back seat, Luana grabbed the sling bag that she had placed on the passenger seat.

Getting up and out of her husband's car, Luana found Rey standing right next to her. After all, the man did look like he was really on guard for his wife.

"Your hand, darling." Standing opposite Luana, Rey held out his hand.

"Why?" asked Luana teasingly. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, the woman did not extend her hand.

Deliberately.

"I want to hold it," Rey answered bluntly. No more guarded image activities, especially for a love slave like Rey. "Here, your hand."

With a small laugh, Luana finally welcomed her husband's outstretched hand, then let Rey hold her delicate hand very tightly.

"Today's painting schedule," Luana said as they now walked side by side, climbing the few steps to reach the main door of the large building. "You remember when I went with Valerie and Pedro the other day? I was the one who picked out the watercolors and brushes for this class."

Rey brought a smile to his lips, followed by a faint nod.

"Of course I remember," he said quickly. "Really? Then I will draw something very beautiful for you."

Their footsteps were both on the top step, just as Luana turned to Rey.

She looked at him incredulously, with a half-convinced look in her eyes.

"You can draw?" Luana asked incredulously. "I mean, paint?"

Rey shrugged, not letting Luana pull on the door handle as one hand met the handle first.

"You've never seen me paint, have you, Luana?" Rey asked back. Clearing his throat, the man continued. "Then I will astonish you with my painting this time."

Luana could only pull the corners of her lips, choosing not to take her husband's words seriously.

She had indeed become Rey's legal wife, even carrying the proof of her love with him. But Luana had to admit, there were many things she didn't know about her husband.

Like for example, the truth whether Rey is good at moving the brush or not.

"We'll see," said Luana half defiantly.

Now she suddenly felt a rush of adrenaline in her chest, mixed with curiosity about the facts she had just learned.

From the way Rey spoke, it seemed that the man really could paint. So, let's prove it after this class is over.

Pushing through the large door, Rey and Luana were greeted by several pairs of eyes that were fixed straight on them. Some of the association members already knew Rey's figure, especially since this was also not the first session for Luana.

Exchanging smiles with other members, Luana found the figure of Valerie who that afternoon wore a charming light purple overalls.

The heels she wore made a tapping sound on the floor, matching the footsteps of her slender legs as she approached the husband and wife.

"You came, Luana," Valerie greeted as she spread her arms, welcoming Luana into a brief hug.

Right after giving each other a peck on the cheek, the embrace slowly unraveled. Seeing Rey smiling, Valerie displayed a similar smile.

"You came too, Rey," she greeted the noble. "Not working?"

Rey nodded faintly.

"I'm planning to join this society Valerie," Rey said without wanting to waste time. "Are you still accepting members?"
