Luana's steps stopped when the corner of her eye caught the figure standing before her.

Raising her head with a quick movement, Luana's eyeballs found Jovi standing tall in front of her.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but you took a wrong turn."

Jovi's words sounded very polite, but a piece of resentment remained in Luana's heart. Given that Jovi was the man who had always been by Rey's side, Luana felt even more that she was alone there.

"Come with me, ma'am," Jovi said again.

As if not giving Luana any room to reply, the young man had already taken the first step.

Luana had no choice but to turn around and look at Jovi, who was now walking right before her. Adrift a few steps, Luana thought for a moment whether she should follow or not.

Rey's figure was no longer visible; maybe the man had gone somewhere. Realizing their mistress had not moved an inch, Jovi slowed his pace until he turned around.

"The ship will be leaving soon, ma'am," the man said again. "We'd better get out of here."

Luana inhaled and exhaled lazily, massaging her temples briefly to relieve the fatigue that had set in.

Whereas she had just thought she would have a good time today, it turned out to be wishful thinking.

Jovi was still waiting until Luana finally decided to take slow steps.

Along with her lackluster steps, Luana repeatedly chanted a prayer.

Madam Collins must quickly find Beatrice's whereabouts so her employer's daughter can return to her rightful position.

So that Luana could leave there and not have to be further involved in Rey the nobleman's life.

***

Luana was amazed.

Jovi stopped a few meters before her when a smaller yacht was now docked at the harbor's edge. The yacht looked luxurious and dashing, and Luana was sure this was the first time she had seen such a fine vessel in Heidelberg.

The fleet was called Sichterman, manufactured by a giant company in the Netherlands.

"Are we going up there?" the girl asked for confirmation. She was afraid she would take the wrong step, worried she would be expelled from the luxury ship.

Rey was still nowhere in sight, and now Luana was faced with a fleet that had her attention.

Where were they going? Were they going to sail?

"Mr. Rey has prepared for this journey, ma'am," Jovi replied. "And that's right, you should board immediately as this ship must depart soon. Mr. Rey is already inside, with the Captain in the wheelhouse."

Luana could only blink her eyes in disbelief. She had no idea the crazy nobleman she had sworn at earlier was preparing something as beautiful as this.

Luana had never been on a yacht, let alone one this beautiful.

"Come, ma'am."

Jovi was already back in the swing of things, crossing over first to land at the luxury yacht's yard.

Turning around, he extended a very polite hand to help Luana move.

Rey's assistant's hand still dangled in the air, but now the only thing Luana could think about was that Rey was not beside her.

"I can help myself," Luana refused politely. She didn't want to get into any more trouble if Rey found out she welcomed Jovi's hand.

Jovi pulled one side of his lips, allowing Luana to climb aboard. With one leap, Luana landed well and moved onto the ship.

The stronger breeze made Luana's mane fly, with the hem of her dress also moving in the wind.

Looking around briefly, Luana didn't realize she was arching a smile. Perhaps her earlier annoyance would fade, as the sea waved at her.

"You can wait in the main cabin, ma'am," Jovi said again. "Mr. Rey will be along shortly."

Luana nodded, following Jovi's footsteps to go deeper into the ship. Her beady eyes never stopped blinking, inwardly praising the marvelous ship genuinely.

This could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Luana. At the same time, she wondered whether or not her attitude towards Rey had gone too far.

Jovi escorted Mrs. Lueic to the main cabin, and Luana widened her eyes in disbelief.

Several sofas were neatly arranged, with pillows decorating them. It turned out that the ship was also equipped with cabinets for the television, with a table on which there were already several kinds of drinks and food.

What spoiled her eyes even more was that Luana could see how the sea and sky hugged her tightly from where she was sitting now.

Jovi had already asked permission to retire, leaving Luana in amazement.

Climbing the stairs, the young man headed to the wheelhouse to meet his superior.

"She's up already?"

Rey didn't turn to Jovi at all, but the sound of the door opening signaled that someone else had just arrived.

Jovi nodded, taking a position to stand right next to Rey.

Another captain was in charge of piloting the yacht, with Rey standing alongside to observe the conditions.

"Already, sir," Jovi replied quickly. "Madam is already in the main cabin."

Rey's eyeballs scanned the scene in front of him carefully. The sun was already at its zenith, with its brightest rays visible.

Heidelberg's weather this morning was clear, and it seemed as if the universe favored the voyage about to take place in a few moments.

The Captain on duty pulled up a handy talky, speaking in fluent German to say that the ship was ready to depart.

A faint voice could be heard from the handy talky as the Captain, now in his mid-40s, turned to signal Rey.

"We can set sail in the next five minutes, sir," the Captain informed him.

With both hands clasped at his waist, Rey nodded in agreement.

"I leave everything to you, Captain," he said. "Make sure this trip goes smoothly."

Turning around, Rey was already stepping out of the wheelhouse. Jovi followed right behind the noble, who was now walking slowly down the side of the ship.
