Luana really didn't know how to react.
Rey had disappeared behind the bathroom door, leaving her now suddenly slumped over the edge of the bed. Her chest rose and fell, with her heart pounding inside.
How could he say that in such a flat tone? Did he mean we would stay in the same room while they were in town? Seriously, for the sake of everything!
Meanwhile, Rey still wore a triumphant smile despite his body disappearing from Luana's presence. Delighted, the man laughed as soon as the bathroom door slammed shut.
Welcome to the world of marriage, fake bride.

"Are you sleeping?"
Rey came out of the bathroom twelve minutes later, already wearing a bright white T-shirt with light brown knee-length shorts.
Walking without hesitation to reach Luana's position, who was now curled under the covers, Rey's voice echoed throughout the room.
Luana did not answer. She turned her face to face Rey, trying to close her eyes but never being able to.
Her mind was occupied with so many things flying around, which successfully dispelled the sleepiness weighing on her eyes. Folding her hands at the sides of her cheeks, Luana gritted her teeth.
"You couldn't sleep?"
Again, Rey guessed correctly, and the man's voice sounded closer and closer in the background. Luana opened her eyes slowly, thinking about whether she should turn around.
Should she pretend to close her eyes or reply to the nobleman's question now?
"If you sleep, then I'll go."
Rey said again even though the two questions that had been asked earlier did not receive an answer. Standing before the sizable wardrobe, Rey took out a bottle of perfume and sprayed it on his wrists and around his neck.
Immediately, Rey's signature masculine perfume took over the room's scent, making Luana close her eyes slightly. It now pierced her nose without her realizing it.
This perfume... feels so warm. It was inversely proportional to the owner's personality.
Luana still maintained her position, having no intention of turning around. Let her pretend to be asleep, rather than dealing with Rey who seemed to be just trying to make her uncomfortable.
Not knowing Rey was looking at her behind there, watching Luana's tiny body which was still covered by the blanket up to the neck. Luana chose not to answer anything, silently asking the man to get out of there quickly.
Rey walked after ensuring he looked good enough, stepping towards the large window still displaying a portrait of the city outside. Leaning against the side of the window, the man cleared his throat softly.
"It seems like this city is indeed getting more beautiful." The man's voice was again the only sound heard, and Luana was still struggling to close her eyes.
Go away quickly!
"Perhaps walking around and exploring the city would be a wise enough exercise this afternoon," Rey continued.
Luana gasped. Her heart beat faster, with realization fully taking over. Should I open my eyes now? Luana thought out loud to herself.
The man looked at their large bed out of the corner of his eye, observing if there was any movement from the person curled up there. Concluding a faint smile at the corner of his lips, Rey slowly opened his voice.
"Since Jovi is taking care of other things, I'll just go alone," the man said purposefully. "Or should I just ask for the hotel's tour guide service?"
Luana's heart rumbled even more. She desperately wanted to get out of there. She desperately wanted to breathe in the scent of the city breeze that she had missed for so long. Just now, she was wondering if she would have the chance to walk around the city later, and now it seemed like the opportunity was right in front of her eyes.
Should she open her eyes now?
Rey seemed to have deliberately spoken earlier, even though none of the man's words were answered by anyone else. Luana knew the nobleman probably intended to annoy her even more.
Rey waited a few seconds, but Luana did not move from her position. He mentally cursed how stubborn Luana was, even though he knew she hadn't slept since before.
"I'll go then," Rey said again. "If you're not interested in coming."
Luana really didn't know how to react.
Turning around, Rey took a step toward the door. Stuffing both hands into his pants pockets, the man did not look back at all. Luana thought hard, wondering what action she should take now.
She wanted to go! She wanted to leave, and maybe this was her only chance.
Fuck it!
Shoving aside the thick blanket, Luana unceremoniously rose to her feet and sat upright. Rey was still swinging, his hand almost reaching for the door handle when he slowed down.
"W-wait!"
Luana's voice broke the silence, making Rey stop moving just as the door handle of the room was in his grasp. Still with his back to Luana, Rey smiled faintly again.
Gotcha!
Luana got off the large bed in one leap, shaking out her knee-length dress to make sure it still looked good.
Slipping her feet into the flat shoes at the bottom of the bed, Luana stood up straight with her breath catching.
"You don't know this city, do you?" Luana asked with a heavy sigh, and her words sounded stuttered.
Rey still did not turn his head, with his hand still holding the handle. Not giving an answer, Rey replied to Luana's treatment, who had been ignoring his every sentence.
Just as the man was about to ignore Luana again, the woman's voice was heard again.
"I can help you show the way!" Luana exclaimed again. Her shout managed to stop Rey's footsteps, and now the man turned his body to look back at Luana.
The woman was ready to go, even wearing a sling bag slung over her shoulder. She was really ready to go!
"Where are you going?" Rey asked flatly.
Luana bit her lower lip, gathering her courage.
"I want to come," she said hesitantly. "I'll accompany you, instead of you spending money to hire the hotel's tour guide service. I still remember the way, very well."
Rey raised his eyebrows with an unpredictable look on his face, pulling the doorknob now. The woman was really stubborn, even though she clearly wanted to come along.
Waltzing out of the room, Rey did not slow down. Glancing back at Luana, who was still standing with two hands clutching the strap of her sling bag.
"Hurry up!" Rey exclaimed. "You're wasting my time!"
Luana unconsciously smiled happily, as her footsteps swung to catch up with Rey ahead.
So happy that she was going to walk back through the city, so glad that she would be greeting Heidelberg again so soon.
It's okay.
Even with Rey, it was okay. All that mattered was that the city welcomed her back.
