Looking around them quickly, she wanted to make sure no one heard their conversation before she leaned over and whispered in his ear.
"Let's go upstairs..."
"Rosabella," He chuckles.
"I'm the best man, you're the bridesmaid, how do you think we can work on such a disappearance?"
She knew he was absolutely right, but Rosabella simply couldn't help her.
Instead, she continued to whisper more in his ear. "I want you to show me how much you own me, Charles. How much you don't like another man's hand in mine..."
Charles put both of their drinks down on a nearby table and immediately wrapped his arms around her waist to pull her into his body.
"Are you trying to kill me?"
Rosabella giggled, feeling him fix his mouth on her pulse point that he began to suck lightly.
Unable to resist her body's reaction, she arched into him, making him smirk against her skin. She smells flowers and her very own delicious scent.
"God... so you need a reminder, Rosabella? How to behave? Do I need to keep you up all night?"
She trembled against him as one of her hands gripped his waist, pressing harder against hers. Rosabella let out a greedy sound in her throat.
The pair were about to give in for a public kiss when Andy walked over to them and gently patted Charles on the shoulder.
"Sorry to interrupt." He chuckled when he saw the two of them glancing at him with annoyed expressions.
"It's just, people are getting ready for the speeches. Thought the best man might want to go first."
Rosabella sighed as she locked eyes with Charles.
"After that." He gaped at her as she nodded in agreement.

When the party was over and Michel, along with the rest of the Black Roses were seeing the guests out, Fanny and Rosabella sat outside in the garden courtyard, enjoying their last drink of the day as they watched the lights of the sunrise. Twinkling lights have been installed all over the beautiful greenery.
"You worry?" Rosabella asked her best friend, referring to the fact that the wedding was approaching.
Fanny took a sip of her cocktail, eyes looking up at the starry sky above them. "A little bit. Like when it's just me and Michel, I'm completely at ease. But when we're around all these people, I suddenly realize what it means to be his wife, you know what?" She admitted.
Rosabella nodded. She couldn't understand her more. Of course, she knew Charles was an important man.
But seeing him deal with outsiders, how different he is from them compared to the people around her, always surprises her.
Fanny looked over at her and watched her for a moment.
"What?" Rosabella smiled as she felt Fanny's curious gaze on her.
"You look so happy, Rosabella," Fanny said simply.
Rosabella laughed again. "Uhm, you too."
Smiling brightly, Fanny nodded as she put her drink down and raised her hands above her head, stretching comfortably as she sighed clearly.
"You know what, I really am."
Turning to her, Fanny locked eyes with Rosabella again. "I'm so glad you decided to stay, Rosabella. I mean, live here. I don't think I would be as happy without my best friend." She added.
The corners of her lips curled up into a smile, and feeling touched by that sincere statement, Rosabella raised her wine glass towards Fanny.

Speaking casually as they were preparing for Fanny and Michel's wedding, Rosabella was surprised when Charles suddenly dropped a huge news bomb on her.
"What does this mean?" She calls from their walk-in closet, still deciding to wear matching heels as Charles is sitting on the edge of their bed in the bedroom, checking messages on his phone, his black bow tie not yet removed.
"That means we're going to buy two more casinos, Rosabella. And I want you to manage them. It's that simple."
Barefoot, she came to stand in front of him as soon as he looked up from the phone. "What?"
Charles shrugged as he got up from where he was sitting. "Uhm, that's right. You're smart, Rosabella. Kaylin can help you in the beginning but in the end, you'll figure it out. It's going to be related to what we do. Good... but a little bit risky."
Crying with excitement, Rosabella jumped to his side and pressed her lips passionately to his. He smiled as he put his arm around her back.
"I assume you like the idea?"
"Are you kidding?" She kissed him again.
"It's better than waiting in the infirmary for someone to get hurt or planning tea parties with Audrey."
Charles grinned. "Uhm, you can always start medical school like Fanny did."
Rosabella shrugged. "While that's better than nothing, I just feel like it just doesn't work for me anymore."
Charles pushed her curly hair back and smiled at her. "Then I'm happy, happy."
In response, Rosabella pressed a series of small kisses to his mouth before finally releasing him and spinning a small circle in front of him.
"What do you think of my outfit? As pretty as the one I wore to the rehearsal party?"
Charles shook his head in feigned disapproval. Of course, he loved the way she looked.
This time, Rosabella wore a lovely long red dress with beautiful chiffon embroidery around the top and waistline.
"No, it's missing something."
Rosabella frowned in confusion as she looked down at her. "Missing something? Are you jealous again? Want more fabric to cover my ass? Because you have to tell me, Charles. This dress is as conservative as it could be for a bridesmaid."
Giggling, Charles shook his head as he walked over to the bedside table and pulled out a small velvet box. Back at her, he took a moment to take a deep breath as he licked his lips and slowly handed her the box.
"Here."
By no means, Rosabella's mouth went dry as she hesitantly took the box and opened it, taking a deep breath when she saw it.
