Eddie's eyes widened. "What? But the police... what the hell?"
"Shut." Fanny gave an unusual scream as she turned back to Vengo.
"So it must have been worse than when Michel was shot?"
Vengo nodded, glancing at Audrey, palm covering his mouth in shock.
"There was definitely something wrong. I didn't know the details yet, but Michel knew that once the ambulance would be there, they would spontaneously notify the police. So he made Mark, Kaylin, and Carlos leave and stayed with Charles. It was Carlos on the phone just now. They'll be here soon."
Fanny's lower lip trembled. "And who is Alexander? Why are you calling him? Can he help Michel? Oh my god..." Fanny felt Audrey put his arm around her as she had tears in her eyes swimming in the corner of her eye at the bad news.
Vengo let out a long breath. "He's the manager of the Cabaret house. But he's also a good lawyer. I'm not sure how, but he hopes to bring Michel home."
Andy exchanged a worried look with Farrah before he found his voice. "So who's with Charles at the hospital?"
Avoiding eye contact with anyone, Vengo fumbled with his phone nervously. "Nobody. It would be too suspicious if they showed up. We'll have to find an outsider to check. Maybe someone..."
"Are not."
Just one word that sounded so harsh and determined that it made everyone turn around to realize that it was Rosabella who said it.
She was the only one still sitting, almost rooted to her place on the couch, but that reaction was clearly replaced as she slowly rose to her feet, her eyes wild and filling, shunned with speechless emotions.
"I'll go to that hospital."
Vengo hums. "What?"
Rosabella straightened her shoulders as she faced him directly.
"I'm going." She repeated, her voice a little louder now.
Vengo crossed his arms over his chest and pushed her away quickly by turning around and ignoring her. They have big problems at hand with two of their soldiers dead, one seriously injured and their leader captured. So he couldn't be asked to entertain someone's antics.
When Rosabella saw that he wasn't paying attention to her, she circled him to face him and pushed his chest.
"Did you hear what I said? I said I was..."
"I hear you loud and clear. I just don't..."
"I go."
"You can not."
"I will go."
"You know why you can't go, Rosabella?"
Fanny and Audrey, who were looking confusedly back and forth between the two, Fanny gently pulled Rosabella with her arm as Audrey placed her hand on Vengo's back.
"What happened?" Fanny asked as she began to realize that there was something she didn't know.
She felt definitely surprised that Rosabella had such a reaction when Charles was injured and Vengo's reaction to her only reinforced that something was up.
However, what she did not expect was that the situation would escalate further and just as quickly.
Rosabella ignored her and entered Vengo's personal space once more, pushing him a second time.
"Tell me what hospital he's in right now?"
"Damn it." He growled, and Andy and Eddie immediately drew closer because they didn't want their former leader to lose it to a woman of all.
"Rosabella, sit down, okay? We'll find out how he is..." Andy tried to reason with her.
However, Rosabella did not listen.
Not feeling heard, her voice grew louder as she pushed him away and continued to scream.
"I'm leaving. You'll..."
"Shut." Eddie barked back, clearly angry too.
Fanny didn't like the exchange despite the fact that she knew she didn't have all the details, tried again, and cautiously pulled her best friend back.
"That's dangerous. Let's see what..."
Rosabella lost it after that.
Turning around, she aimed for the only person she knew who was actually listening to her.
"I know it's dangerous. I know, ok. Do you want to know why?" She looked at Fanny with teary eyes.
"Because it was I who killed Archibald. I killed him, Fanny and that's why there's a target on my back. But I don't care. I'm going to that hospital." She shouted.
Fanny's hand flew to her mouth as she stood there frozen, the shock seeping deep into her bones.
However, there is no space for her to react as the next thing that happens is Kaylin, Carlos, and Mark arriving on the scene, their clothes confirming the series of events that took place that night.
Suddenly it became clear why they couldn't stay with Michel or go with Charles to the hospital.
Their vision will involve all of them more than necessary.
Andy and Farrah took this time to gently lead Fanny to the couch to sit down as the three entered the living area.
'Kaylin," Audrey gasped as she looked at her bloody shirt and the front of her jeans.
Kaylin ignored her and went straight to Vengo.
"Have you arranged for Michel yet?" She immediately asked, Carlos and Mark standing on either side of her, also waiting for an answer.
Vengo nodded.
"That's right. Alexander is on his way." He confirmed.
He could see Kaylin crying as her eyeliner and mascara left black stains on her face, though her determined look prevented him from pointing it out to her.
"And Charles?" Her voice was a little shaky, catching up before she collapsed, squatting her shoulders to appear stronger.
"Did Michael tell you?" Carlos fights for the right words, also seemingly shaken by what happened.
Mark was silent, the death of his mafia brothers fought within him as he just collapsed onto one of the sofas and rested his head in his hands.
"I don't know. We need to wait for Michel's call to tell us. I'm sure Alexander will take care of this. Once we know what hospital he's in, we'll be able to send someone or call..."
"For the millionth time, I'll go." Rosabella stepped between Vengo, Carlos, and Kaylin again.
Turning to face her, Kaylin glared at her through bloodshot eyes.
"No offense, Rosabella but now's not the time. Come on, we need to sort out what we're going to do next."
"I won't. You need to listen and..."
"You need to stay where you are. We have enough to deal with. We can't be busy protecting you when we just lost two of our soldiers and Michel in prison."
"No. I won't. You won't."
