"What about Kaylin? Any news from her?" Charles asked as they sat around the coffee table in Michel's private room, the map was laid out as they tried to divide the city to narrow down the search to find Fanny.

They had spent the previous two hours torturing Gwen, desperately trying to get her to speak, but she didn't give them anything.

Michel shook his head.

"Not yet, but I'm going there today. She hasn't answered my calls or texts and that might not be a good sign."

Andy sighed as he leaned over one of the maps, circling several areas.

"That's right, so I think we need to start here." He pointed to the south side of city X, marking the area with a black Sharpie.

"This is Davies's home ground, a good place to start asking questions. They don't know yet that we know about Gwen and we're keeping her so it can work."

Michel licked his lips and ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

"Mr. Aiden. I want to kill him. I need..."

"Are not." Charles cut him off immediately, the words carrying a lot of weight.

"You certainly don't want to do anything you might regret later, Michel. If he had Fanny how would that help? He wouldn't be willing to give up information."

Standing up with a growl, the leader now walks around restlessly.

He feels like he's just wasting his time arguing about what to do. He wants to take action and bring her back.

"Then what? We have nothing. Dividing the city into zones and starting a search would take too long."

Andy quickly went to the liquor cabinet and filled a glass of whiskey, handed it to Michel, who shook his head, can't even drink it right now.

He needs to come up with a good plan and he needs to do it with a clear head.

Charles stepped forward and crossed his arms.

"May I ask Rosabella again?" He suggested, receiving a non-humorous laugh from his leader.

"And what would that do? The girl couldn't see anything. She was useless."

Before his newly appointed second-in-command could answer, Michel's phone suddenly rang, announcing a call.

"What do you get?" He replied as soon as he saw Kaylin's name flashing on the screen.

"Can't talk right now. Meet me at the Plaza Hotel lobby in an hour."

Michel's face turned into a deep frown.

If Kaylin asked him to meet her outside Cabaret House, where they usually conduct business, it meant the situation was more serious than he thought.

He just hoped that she was safe now because he got her involved in this mess.

"Ok, I'll be there. However, are you okay? Do you need me to send a driver to pick you up?"

Kaylin spoke quickly, the tension in her voice very clear.

"No, I'm fine. Don't come late and see me alone. Let's not bring in the extra people we need."

Vengo threw another shot as he sat back on the large couch in their room, the size of an apartment, and let out another frustrated growl.

He appreciates it after he told his wife what happened in the early hours of the day that she didn't comment much, but instead allowed him time to calm down.

The only problem now is that he hasn't cooled down yet.

He is still angry.

And Audrey could speak.

Letting out a small sigh and stroking her bump as a form of comfort in this situation, she carefully sat down next to the former leader of their family.

"Vengo, you shouldn't drink like this..." She gently took the highball glass from his hand and placed it on the tea table in front of them.

Any other person wouldn't dare come near him right now, especially without offering any opinion or advice but this was Audrey and she was his exception to everything.

Turning his head to look at her, his face softened a little when he saw that she was looking at him worriedly, still caressing her stomach with one hand, the other brushing a few stray strands of hair from his forehead, she leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on it.

"I'm sorry, honey..." He mutters under his breath, closing his eyes wearily.

She shook her head, giving a small smile.

Audrey has always been there for him and he can tell that even now, in this messy situation where she worries about Fanny and grieves over the death of her father - a man she knew he's never even met, she keeps this to herself to support him.

She truly is his rock and she always will be.

"I know you don't want to hear this right now, but please let me finish before you say anything, ok?" She began, her voice soft as she continued to stroke his face with her fingertips, soothing any tension he felt around his temples.

Vengo remained silent and waited for her to continue.

His wife has a right to say what she's thinking and, once again realizing how wonderful she is, he's ready to listen.

"I know you're frustrated with Michel right now and he shouldn't be doing things like that, but listen... This is a family, Vengo. And as a family, we have to stick together. Now I know that things have gotten messy here, but at the end of the day, we're all stuck together, aren't we?"

Vengo suppressed his initial rebellious instincts and really pondered over her words.

His anger almost made it impossible for him to look straight, though even then he couldn't deny that there was something in what she said.

He is the first commander of the Black Roses gang. Leadership or not their purpose will not change.

"What do you mean, Audrey." He sighed, still holding her gaze.

His wife lowered her head slightly to kiss his lips sweetly before continuing.

"What I'm saying is that Michel clearly loves her. And if that's the case, aren't we supposed to protect her?"

"He must marry Farrah."

Audrey nodded in understanding but insisted on clarifying her reasoning.

"I know, but you can't plan these things, honey. You were supposed to marry my sister, remember? But we were lucky and my father agreed to let us get married. Emotions are emotions."

"Again, what do you mean?"
