We walked over to the sea of people and he led me up the stairs of the stadium.

When we got to the top, he kissed my head and handed me his phone before disappearing into the crowd below.

I sat back and looked on at everyone. This was similar to the Death Match he took me to.

Drunk, screaming people. Alcohol and cigarettes lingering in the wind and loud music.

His phone vibrated in my hands and I looked down at it.

Someone was trying to call him. But after it rang for a few times the call cut.

I realized that there were at least 56 missed calls from this number.

Was Zayn purposely ignoring these calls?

  But why?

I shook it off when I saw him emerging from the crowd.

He came and sat next to me, resting his arm on my shoulders.

"Starts soon." He said lowly and I nodded, leaning my head on his shoulder.

I felt a kiss on my head and the fuzzy feeling in my gut came back.

I stared up at him and he looked down at me, as if sensing my stare.

He raised a single eyebrow at me, asking me what the fuck was up.

"Someone tried calling you." I told him and his face turned blank.

"You answered?" He asked me, massaging his temple with his other hand.

"No." I replied and he pecked my lips.

"Good." He said, looking back up.

I wanted to know who it was. It's not that I didn't trust him. I'm just genuinely curious.

"Who...is it?" I asked carefully, not wanting to anger him.

His eyes snapped to mine and he looked at me for a while,

Digging deep for something within my eyes.

"It's a trap call. I answer, they track my location." He explained emotionlessly and I nodded.

"That's cool." I grinned and he rolled his eyes.

"Until you're taking a shit and they burst through your door." He said and I was horrified.

My face remained in that state until a buzzing sound went off around the stadium.

"Later." He said, standing and raising my chin before leaning down and kissing me.

That kiss felt heavenly. Butterflies erupted in my stomach, dancing on all of my organs.

He pulled away and looked at me for a while before he descended down the stairs.

I saw him walk over to his car and start it before driving to the starting line.

There was another car and just like Lucifer's, the windows were heavily tinted.

You couldn't see either of them.

As they started the countdown, I got a bad feeling inside of me.

  But I shook it off.

It's probably that old milk I drank a few days ago.

The race started and they both sped down the track.

The track goes straight up a hill and then there's a blind spot behind some trees

So we wouldn't be able to see them until they come back down on the other track.

Lucifer effortlessly drove past the other racer. But then the racer came back and passed him.

They battled for 1st Place for a while and I was biting my nails out of anticipation.

Then his phone vibrated again and I looked down at it.

It was again text this time and I didn't bother to look at it.

  His business, stays his business.

As I looked back up, I cheered loudly with the rest of them as he passed the person, blocking them from passing him again.

Then he drifted around the corner and the other person did the same.

They were now in the blindspot. It wasn't small so it would take them about five minutes to get out of it.

We waited, seeing nothing but the faint glow of their headlights through the trees.

I bit down on the inside of my cheeks, waiting to see them come back out.

But after a while, we realized that they weren't coming out.

  Something must have happened.

I was shaking at this point and I started descending the stairs to go and find him.

But as I placed one foot down on the dirt floor, a loud explosion came from behind the trees of the blindspot.

I froze. Physically and mentally froze. I couldn't move or think.

My heart throbbed inside my chest as I looked at the frightened, shocked people around.

They started screaming and yelling for someone to go check.

When I saw the car about to leave I ran over to them.

"Please take me with you." I told them and they nodded.

The back door flew open and I hopped in. They sped off down the track and with every passing minute, my heartbeat got faster.

I felt all of the hairs on the back of my arms and my neck stand up straight.

The air leaving my lungs burned my throat as it made its way up.

So I held my breath. Panick settled in me as we neared the area.

Raging fire could be seen now. The trees around were on fire as well and I watched the scene in front of me, horrified.

There was Lucifer's car. It was engulfed in flames, as was the other person's car.

They both had collided. But nobody seemed to escape the fire.

My heart jerked in my chest and my stomach churned as the car stopped.

Scanning the area, I saw a body leaning against a tree and quickly rushed over to them.

I hoped that it was Lucifer. I prayed that it was him.

The person wasn't visible since they were covered with burns and ashes.

When I reached them though, I dropped down on my knees and let out a pained scream.

  This couldn't be happening...
