I woke up and just laid there, thinking about the death of Dale's mother, Mama D.

She was a second mother to me. We'd always go visit her on spring break.

I remember her always telling me to never come back to her house,

  Unless I wasn't single anymore.

  I loved her so much.

A tear slipped out of my eyes as I opened them, his silver eyes were staring back at me.

He was laying on top on me, his head was on my chest and his arms were wrapped around my waist.

He stared up at me emotionlessly. His eyes were hazy, meaning that he was thinking.

Having him here with me is shockingly calming. Something about his presence has changed.

It isn't just intimidating anymore. There's something else to it.

  A touch of gentleness.

I yawned, his eyes marking my every move. Then slowly his hands ran up my sides and my breath hitched.

They went higher and higher, until they finally stopped.

Before I could even question him, his fingers pressed down and started moving.

  He was tickling me.

I giggled uncontrollably, letting out nasty snorts as I tried to get out of his grip.

When I finally did, I landed on my ass on the carpet.

Zayn leaned down from on the bed and kissed me quickly. I gave him a nasty look and he chuckled before leaning back.

"Mafia Ball tomorrow." He said blankly, closing his eyes.

"They have those?" I asked, rubbing my sore eyes.

"Yes." He replied. "Come with me?" He asked and I looked up at him with a grin.

"Do I get to wear a gown?" I asked excitedly and he smirked before nodding.

"Here." He said, digging in his pockets.

He pulled out a credit card and handed it to me.

"Use it." He told me before getting up and fixing his clothes.

"No." I said, placing it on the floor.

His eyes snapped to mine and the intensity was alarming. He looked at me seriously, daring me to defy him.

"Use it." He said firmly and I sighed.

He walked over to me and crouched down to my level before taking my face in his hands.

"Take it easy, okay?" He told me, rubbing his thumb against my cheek.

I looked at him and nodded before looking down at the card.

He pulled my face back up and pecked my lips before kissing my head.

Then he got up and walked out of my room. I sat there for a while longer before actually getting up.

I got up and walked into the closet, coming back out with some black ripped jeans and a hoodie.

Walking into the bathroom, I took a shower and came back out, getting dressed.

When I was done, I walked downstairs to find Dale laying on the floor,

  Right where I left him.

"Dale. Get up." I said, walking over to him.

His eyes opened and he looked at me coldly before he spoke.

"Fuck off." He replied, turning away from me.

"I'm going shopping." I told him, smirking.

"Well fuck on then!" He said, getting up and stumbling up the stairs.

I started cleaning up the living room, taking all of the empty liquor bottles into the kitchen.

I then leaned against the counter, drowning in my thoughts.

Another tear slipped out and I quickly wiped it away just as Dale walked in.

He looked at me sadly before walking over and embracing me.

I squeezed him tightly, rubbing his back. He let out a shaky sigh before he took my hand and led us outside.

We got into the car and he started driving, tapping his finger to the beat of the music here and there.

Then he let lout a sigh and looked over at me, trying to keep up a brave face.

"So what's the occasion?" He asked, glancing back at the road.

"Mafia Ball." I told him and he looked at me with wide eyes.

"They have those?" He asked, sounding just as shocked as I was.

"Apparently they do." I said, pulling out the credit card and showing it to him.

"The Devil is a Sugar Daddy." He stated and I laughed.

He soon joined in and when we were finished, we both had tears in our eyes.

"I love you, Bunny." He said, grabbing my hand.

"I love you more, D." I replied, squeezing his hand slightly and giving him and smile.

He pulled into the parking lot of the mall and we got out, walking inside.

We walked around until we saw dresses and gowns through the window of a store.

"There!" I told him, grabbing his hand and dragging him through the entrance.

"Hey guys! How can I help you?" An excited looking lady asked.

"Yes. We need the sexiest thing you have." Dale said seriously and I laughed.

"I'm looking for something black. I want it to be extra, but not extreme. You know?" I asked, hoping she understood.

She smiled brightly and took my hand, dragging me through the rows of gowns.

"I have the perfect thing for you." She told me and I smiled.

"It better be sexy." Dale mumbled from behind us.

She chuckled and glanced at him.

"Don't worry, it is." She said and he smiled at her.

She walked us over to the back of the room, where a big dress hung.

It was large and had big, puffed up arms.

"Lady, whatever sexy is, this ain't it." Dale said and I choked on a laugh.

He can be so blunt sometimes. It's like his second nature.

"This isn't it." She said, letting go of my hand and walking through a door.

"I say we run." Dale mumbled softly from next to me and I gave him a look.

"Let's at least see what she has." I told him and he sighed, nodding slowly.

She walked back out, rolling something infront of her.

It was covered by a sheet, so we couldn't tell what it was.

Then she pulled the sheet off and my eyes widened.

  "I'll take it."
