  Blair

I slid open the window, watching as he climbed in.

Noticeably, he winced as his muscles stretched, making me frown in confusion.

When he's fully inside, he slides it shut and turns to face me.

I still couldn't see his face because of how dark it was.

He looked at me and his eyes were the only things visible.

Reaching over, I turned on the lamp on my bedside table.

Immediately, he turned away so that I still couldn't see his face.

  "Zayn?" I whispered.

Slowly, he turned to face me and I gasped.

His face was covered in fresh bruises and he had a gash on his cheek.

Blood oozed from in, draining onto his dark hoodie.

I quickly grabbed his also bruised hand and dragged him into my bathroom.

I made him sit on the counter as I looked through the cabinets for my First Aid Kit.

Pulling it out, I immediately got to work on his face. He stared at me the entire time.

I raised my eyebrow when I pressed down on the gash with the alcohol and ointment.

  He didn't even wince.

Not even a look of discomfort.

He just continued staring at me intensely, not saying anything.

"Any other wounds I should know about before I put this away?" I asked, gesturing to the kit.

He just shook his head. He looked up at the ceiling for a while before shaking his head.

"I'm so-" He paused, massaging his temple "Look, I'm very apologetic for this afternoon." He finished.

"You mean you're sorry?" I asked, trying to hold back my laugh.

"Don't push it." He said seriously, making me sober up instantly.

"Okay." I said, walking back into my room.

  He's always so serious.

I like the other Zayn more.

I heard him come up behind me as I looked down at a text I received from Dale.

  Daley♡:

Bitch, you and your man better shut the fuck up over there.

My beauty sleep is at risk.

I smiled at the screen before strong arms wrapped around my waist.

"Thank you." He said, moving a piece of hair to the side.

"You're w-welcome." I replied as my heart raced.

He rested his head on my shoulder and breathed in deeply.

  "No questions?" He asked.

  "No." I replied.

He turned me around and stared at me before pulling me into a hug.

His body was warm against mine as he held me in his embrace.

"I'm leaving." He mumbled shortly, pulling away slightly.

"Why?" I replied, shocking even myself.

  Bitch what the fuck?

His eyes snapped down to my face, mischief dancing in his grey orbs.

"You'll drive me over a fucking cliff." He said, pulling away and shaking his head.

"Probably will, I don't have a license." I rambled stupidly.

The entire time he just stood there, hands in his pockets as he stared down at me.

Then he shook his head in amusement at my stupidity.

"Goodnight, Blair." He said, leaning down and placing a kiss on my cheek.

My insides turned to mush and the butterflies in my stomach felt like dancing elephants.

"Night, Lucifer." I replied, rubbing my eyes sleepily.

He turned around and within an instance, he was gone.

"So did you get some, or did you get some?" Dale asked for the thousandth time.

"Dale! He just wanted-" I paused, wondering if I should tell him the truth.

"Wanted what?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"To apologize for bailing on me." I said.

Well it wasn't entirely a lie.

  Just...half of the truth.

"A hunk like that? Crawling into your bedroom at ungodly hours at night? Baby, please."

Well he had a point there.

"I'm done with you." I said, closing my locker and walking away to my class.

I had English right now and I was not feeling it.

I sat and slumped in my seat, watching as everyone came in.

The teacher soon walked in, but with somebody at her side.

"Class, listen up. We have a new student! Introduce yourself." She said, enthusiastically.

The person next to her was a guy. He had charcoal eyes that matched his hair.

He was good-looking, but not as much handsome as Z-

  Woah there buddy, slow down.

I shook my head, clearing my thoughts.

The dude wasn't very tall, but taller than me for sure.

"I'm Jordan Matthews." He said, smiling charmingly at the girls in our class.

I rolled my eyes. He's definitely a player. Any idiot could see that.

Jordans eyes snapped to mine when I rolled them, then he smirked at me.

"Okay Mr. Matthews, take a seat." Mrs. Raven said.

  He immediately strutted toward me.

Father, help me because if this guy sits next to m-

My thoughts were cut off by him doing the exact thing I'd hoped he wouldn't do,

  He sat next to me.

  "Hey, I'm Jordan." He started.

"I heard you the first time." I replied in a bored tone.

"Fiesty, I like it." He said, leaning back in his seat and giving me a smile.

I chose to ignore and watched as the clock ticked away.

This was last period and I prayed that it would end sooner.

The rumors at school are still as strong as ever. There are even more now.

I try to ignore them but I can't help but feel hurt by what they're saying.

Finally, the bell rang and I darted out of class, with Jordan hot on my trail.

"So you're not going to tell me your name?" He asked, falling into step with me.

"No thank you." I responded, rolling my eyes as I walked outside.

"I'll just call you Beautiful, then." He said, giving me a million dollar smile.

Looked like a penny's worth if you asked me.

I was about to tell him something when I decided not to. I just walked away and hopped into Dale's car.

Jordan smirked, probably taking this as a challenge as he walked away.

Dale came shortly after and home we went.
