Sarah took a deep breath, her mind filled with relief. She thought about telling the truth about her life to her grandfather – a man she had only just discovered existed – and now, she held herself for his reaction.

"Well, where do I even begin?" Sarah said, her voice filled with a hint of tiredness. "Life hasn't exactly been easy for me, Grandfather."

Mr. Black listened carefully as Sarah retold the trials and tribulations she had faced over the years – from her dad being ganged up, to Olivia, to her marriage, and to her babies.

"It wasn't easy, Grandfather," Sarah admitted, her voice tired. "But I did what I had to do to protect my sons, to keep them safe from the same fate that came to me."

Mr. Black's expression softened as he listened to Sarah's story, his eyes filled with sadness and pride. "You've been through so much, Sarah," he said, his voice thick. "But you've also shown incredible strength and resilience in the face of adversity. I'm proud of the woman you've become."

Sarah smiled weakly, grateful for her grandfather's words of encouragement. "Thank you, Grandfather. It hasn't been easy, but I've done my best to make a life for myself and my sons."

As they talked, Sarah couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over her. For the first time in her life, she was able to share her burdens with someone who understood – someone who had experienced the same pain and loss that she had and at the same time, she gained another family.

"And what about Bobby?" Mr. Black asked, his voice filled with concern. "How did you end up marrying him?"

Sarah's smile faded as she recounted the terrible relationship she had had with Bobby Briggs – a relationship built on lies, pain and deception, a relationship that had nearly cost her everything.

"It's a long story," Sarah said, her voice tinged with bitterness. "Dad owed him some money. Infact a huge amount of money. Bobby felt the need to come and get it one night. I became a victim of circumstance. He made Olivia get into an accident, and then said he would pay for her treatments, and forget the debts dad us owing him if only I marry him."

'I didn't want to at first. But he kept threatening to kill Olivia, so I had to. Bobby was hell. He manipulated me, he abused me, humiliated me, and he nearly destroyed me. But in the end, I found the strength to break free from his grasp and start again, with the help of his friend."

Mr. Black's eyes flashed with anger as he listened to Sarah's tale of abuse and betrayal. "That monster will pay for what he's done," he vowed, his voice laced with a steely resolve. "I won't rest until he's brought to justice for his crimes."

Sarah felt grateful for her grandfather's unwavering support. For the first time in her life, she felt like she had another person on her side – someone who would fight for her, no matter the cost.

"Thank you, Grandfather," Sarah said, her voice filled with emotion.

Mr. Black reached out and took her hand in his, his grip firm yet gentle. "You're not alone anymore, Sarah," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "We'll face whatever challenges come our way together, as a family."

After a while, sarah turned to face the grandpa. 'Do you want to meet the kids?" Sarah asked, unsure of why she even asked. She felt she should show him his great grand kids, atleast before proceeding to deal with their current matter.

Mr Black was surprised at the question and didn't know how to react or what to say. He was happy that Sarah wanted to give him a chance, but he didn't know if he deserved it.

'Uhm, I… I don't know." Mr Black said, looking down.

Sarah was bewildered. A grown ass man. A big man, feeling uncomfortable at the thoughts of seeing babies.

Sarah shook her head and got up. 'Stand up, let's go."

Mr Black shook his head.

Sarah chuckled. 'The highest they'll do is to bite you. They can barely walk talk more of knowing who is who asides from me and their aunt. So don't worry. Let's go.".

With that, Mr Black stood up and joined her. They walked outside and went towards the car, with Sarah giving them the directions. After Michael needed thought, she realised it wasn't even needed given that they took her from the house.

'That reminds me, why didn't you just come over like a normal person instead of kidnapping me?" Sarah asked.

Mr Black smiled sheepishly. 'Well, I didn't think you'd open your doors to welcome me."

Sarah shook her head. 'And your next best thing was kidnapping me?"

Mr Black sighed 'when you put it like that, it sounds bad."

'A grown ass man, big king, feared even, cannot approach his grand child nor meet his grand children. Wonderful." Sarah teased.

Mr. Black chuckled softly at Sarah's teasing, a hint of embarrassment coloring his expression. "I suppose I could have handled things differently," he admitted, scratching the back of his head. "But I was afraid that if I approached you directly, you wouldn't want anything to do with me."

Sarah shook her head, her gaze softening as she looked at her grandfather. "You don't have to be afraid, Grandfather. You're family, and family sticks together no matter what."

Mr. Black's eyes shimmered with gratitude as he looked at Sarah. "Thank you, Sarah. That means more to me than you'll ever know."

Few minutes later, they reached the house, Sarah led her grandfather unto the house, where her twin sons, Ethan and Leo, awaited them. As they approached, the boys' faces lit up with excitement at the sight of their mother.

Didi was sitting on the floor playing with them. As she saw Sarah approach, she was so grateful, given she held her urine for so long while she was taking care of the twins.

'Good lord, you're here. Help me. Take them I want to pee." Didi said, leaving them and running to the toilet. Sarah just laughed.

"Mamamaa!" Ethan exclaimed, his chubby cheeks flushed with excitement as he reached out to Sarah.

Sarah scooped James into her arms, pressing a kiss to his forehead before turning to Leo, who was waiting patiently by her side. "Hey there, buddy," she said, ruffling Leo's hair affectionately. "Did you miss me?"

Leo nodded eagerly, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Mamamamaa!" he exclaimed, throwing his arms around her in a tight hug.

As that's the word they've been babbling for a while, Sarah wasn't surprised.

'They look so young, so handsome" the grandfather complimented. To him, he didn't know or believe that a day like this would ever come, where he sees his grandchild or get to see his great grand children.

Mr Black teared up. None of his body guards could believe it. Their boss, their big man, tearing up at the sight of two little boys.

'Boss, are you okay?" One of his guards asked, unsure of what to do.

Mr Black waved him off. 'I'm alright. I'm fine."

Sarah turned to her grandfather and asked 'would you love to hold them or you'll chicken out again?" She joked.

'Now you're just making fun of an old man." Mr Black pretended to be upset.

Sarah shook her head and laughed, giving the boys to him, the boys already grabbing onto every part of Mr Black that they could.

Didi came back in at the same time from the toilet. 'Damn, I don't know what I ate, but I'd advice you to not enter your bathroom for extra thirty minutes."

Shaking her head, Sarah said 'Yeah. With that out in the air, meet my grand father."

Didi looked up shocked. 'You're still here? I thought you left." Face palming herself, she said 'forget everything I just said. Hi, my name is Didi and your daughter, I mean, granddaughter, is an amazing person." Didi finished, bringing out her hand for a handshake.

Mr Black looked at Didi, at her hands and at his hands which was full with the kids, 'I would love to shake your hands, but my hands are quite full, literally."

Didi nodded. 'Oh yeah. Sure." and retracted her hands. Turning to face Sarah, she asked 'How did you even meet him? Was this part of your errands?"

Sarah chuckled. 'Nah. It wasn't." And so nonchalantly, she said 'oh and he kidnapped me." Naking Didi's face gi white and the grandpa groan.

'Is this how you'll explain our first meeting to other people?" Mr Black groaned, Leo's hand covering his mouth.

'Yepp. Can one of your men help me go grocery shopping?" She asked. 'Given that you took…."

Mr Black interrupted her. 'Yes yes yes. Anyone of them. I'll pay. Just tell them what you need." And turning to face the guards, he said 'which ever one of you is going, you buy toys for the kids, buy lots of groceries that can last one month.".

He shook his head. 'You know what, I'll go with them."

Didi shook her head. 'Don't worry. Spend more time with the little devils. I'll get everything and more. Your card right?

Mr Black nodded, giving Didi the card.

'Hopefully, that's not your worst mistake so far." Sarah laughed at Mr Black.
