Tiger let out a deep sigh, his emotions spinning between relief and anxiety. Although he was aware that fighting Bobby would be risky, the obvious sorrow in Sarah's eyes had moved him deeply. His compass had always been his loyalty to Bobby, but today something had changed.

There was a strained silence on the journey back to Bobby's house. Tiger's knuckles turned white as he tightly held the steering wheel and mentally relived the day's events. He had told Dr. Evans a lie, saying that Sarah had changed her mind and wanted to proceed with the surgery. The greater challenge now lay ahead: facing Bobby's rage.

Tiger entered Bobby's mansion, his footsteps echoing in the grand foyer. The weight of his actions hung heavy on his shoulders, a constant reminder of the moral lines he had crossed. As he approached the living area, where Bobby often held meetings, Tiger braced himself for the confrontation that awaited him.

Bobby lounged on the plush leather couch, the soft glow of the fireplace casting flickering shadows across his features. His demeanor exuded an air of arrogance, a stark contrast to Tiger's own sense of unease.

"Took you long enough," Bobby said casually, his eyes looking up to meet Tiger's as he entered the room.

"Traffic," Tiger muttered, settling on the couch with him "Got held up at a few lights."

"Where's Sarah? I've been waiting for her." Bobby's eyes narrowed.

Tiger hesitated for a moment, struggling with the weight of his lie. He knew that the truth could have dire consequences, both for himself and for Sarah, but he also couldn't bring himself to betray her further by revealing her escape.

"She's... uh, she's not feeling too well," Tiger replied carefully, choosing his words with caution. "She stopped by the mall to pick up some... female necessities." And he acted nonchallantly to avoid giving any suspicion away.

Bobby snorted, a flicker of amusement momentarily replacing the suspicion in his eyes. "Of course. Those things always seem to come up at the most inconvenient times."

Tiger offered a barely responsive nod, his stomach turning with a mix of guilt and defiance. He knew Bobby held his women on a tight leash, controlling every aspect of their lives down to their sanitary products.

Bobby sank onto the plush leather sofa, flipping on the TV.

"Typical woman," Bobby muttered, downing a glass of scotch in one gulp. "Couldn't even handle a simple procedure. Makes you wonder what she'd be like with a real kid."

Tiger remained silent, his gaze fixed on the flickering TV screen. Bobby's rant continued, a tirade of insults aimed at Sarah, painting her as weak and indecisive.

"Honestly," Bobby continued, oblivious to Tiger's unease. "I should have known better. She was never wife material. Just another pretty face with nothing between the ears."

With each venomous word, Tiger's jaw clenched tighter. He knew Bobby's cruelty wasn't limited to just words. He'd witnessed flashes of it before, subtle bruises hidden beneath Sarah's long sleeves, a flinch at an unexpected touch. But today, the ugliness was on full display.

"She'll come crawling back eventually," Bobby scoffed, taking another swig of scotch. "They always do."

Tiger almost choked on the words that rose to his throat. He wanted to scream at Bobby, to expose him for the controlling monster he truly was. But he knew better. One wrong move, and Sarah's fate could be sealed. Instead, he swallowed his anger, opting for a more subtle approach.

"Maybe," he said, his voice low and neutral. "But maybe not. Maybe she…figured things out."

Bobby scoffed again, a dismissive wave of his hand. "Don't be ridiculous. Where would she go? She has no one."

Tiger's heart ached for Sarah. He knew that wasn't entirely true. He, of all people, had been an unwilling witness to Bobby's manipulation and control, chipping away at Sarah's self-esteem, isolating her from her family and friends.

"People find a way," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "Especially when they're pushed to the edge."

Bobby gave him a withering look. "Don't get philosophical on me, Tiger. Just keep an eye out for her, alright? If she shows up somewhere, let me know. I'll deal with her then."

Tiger nodded curtly, the knot in his stomach tightening further. He couldn't promise he'd tell Bobby if Sarah surfaced. In fact, a part of him hoped he never would. He prayed Sarah was far away, forging a new life where she could finally breathe, finally be free.

But even as Bobby's long talks continued, Tiger's thoughts drifted back to Sarah, her tear-stained face etched into his memory. He couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that gnawed at him, a constant reminder of the betrayal he had committed against her trust.

As Bobby's voice faded into the background, Tiger's mind raced with a flurry of emotions. He knew that Sarah's escape was only the beginning of her journey to freedom, and he silently vowed to do whatever it took to ensure her safety and well-being, even if it meant risking his own life in the process.

And Tiger couldn't help but feel a sense of rebellion rising within him as he stood in Bobby's extravagant house surrounded by luxury and beauty. Even after Sarah ran into the night, her spirit continued to live on in the hearts of those who had dared to oppose Bobby's oppression, and as long as that flame remained bright, there would always be hope for a brighter day in the future.

The next few days passed in a whirl of nervous waiting. Tiger carried out his tasks, his thoughts reliving over and over the image of Sarah's weeping face and the vulnerability in her eyes that had made him feel guilty. A glimmer of hope clung to him as he searched the news for any mention of missing women, suggesting that perhaps, just possibly, Sarah had vanished.

As the bus swayed along the highway, Sarah sat there, her heart thumping in her chest. She was relieved and nervous at the same time, knowing that she was getting closer to freedom with every mile that went by, but she didn't know what lay ahead.

Sarah felt as though she was being tracked even as the bus made its regular stops along the way. Quietly, she peeked over her shoulder to look for any indication that her fellow travelers recognized her. She became paranoid, which fueled her resolve to disappear completely.

Sarah felt uneasy when the bus arrived at a busy city terminal. She was aware that even if she changed busses several times, Bobby or any of his buddies would be unable to determine her precise whereabouts. Keeping this in mind, she got off the bus and hurriedly headed to another one that was headed in a different direction.

For several hours, Sarah kept up her pattern of jumping from bus to bus and circling around several towns and cities in an attempt to confuse any potential chasers. Her fear faded a little with each move, giving way to a spark of optimism that she would actually be able to free herself from Bobby's hold.

Sarah finally arrived in a charming city tucked away between lush forests and rolling hills after what seemed like an eternity of doubt. After getting off the bus and walking through the busy streets, she had a feeling that something was right about the location.

Taking in the sights and sounds of her new surroundings, she strolled around the lovely downtown area. She was surrounded by the noise and bustle of city life, but there was also an unmistakable calmness in the air, like a loving hug welcoming her home.

Sarah was strolling through the streets when she noticed a charming little apartment complex tucked away on a street with lots of trees. Although it wasn't very attractive, there was something about it that drew her in and urged her to personalize it. Determined, she went up to the building and asked about the available apartments.

She was thrilled to find a little but comfortable apartment on the top floor with a small balcony that overlooked the skyline of the city. It was the ideal size for her and her child, offering her enough room to start over and get past the suffering and heartbreak of her previous life.

'Finally." Sarah muttered happily to herself.

Sarah took the keys to her new house and signed the lease with a mixture of happiness and nervousness. Tears burned at the corners of her eyes as she felt a flood of emotion sweep over her as she entered the flat for the first time.

This was her opportunity for a new beginning and redemption. Sarah, freed from the chains of fear and oppression that had held her back for so long, resolved to create a better life for her unborn child and herself. And as she looked out at the city that stretched out in front of her, she knew that no matter what obstacles were in her way, she would overcome them bravely and strongly.
