That evening, as Sarah walked inside their luxurious home, a jumble of different emotions whirled around her. She was still thinking about Bobby's scary threats, and the events of the wedding kept playing back to her like a bad dream. Sarah was desperate to get away from her husband's controlling hold, but she understood that when Olivia's life was in danger, she had to be vigilant.

Bobby shut the door behind them, watching her with a sly smile of victory arched in his lips and a predatory glimmer in his eyes. His voice brimming with smug satisfaction, "Well, well, well, Mrs. Duke," he murmured. "It seems we're finally alone."

Sarah's heart hammered in her chest as she prepared herself for what was about to happen, fighting to control the shudder that shot through her body at his words. She was aware that she couldn't afford to appear weak, not with Bobby's domination over her casting a gloom over the two of them.

Bobby took a step toward her, his need evident in the way he raked his eyes. "You look really beautiful tonight, my love," he said, projecting a false sense of charm. "I have to admit that I'm really amazed with how well you performed during the wedding. I was almost misled by you."

Thoughts of Bobby's deceptive tricks made Sarah's stomach turn over with disgust, so she faked a tight smile. "I aim to please, Bobby,", her voice laced with sarcasm. "After all, what's a wife for if not to make her husband look good?"

Bobby's smile became wider as he ran his fingers in a seductive manner along the curve of her back. With his breath hot against her ear, he whispered, "Ah, but you're so much more than that, Sarah." "You hold the secret to my success and my way to power. And I want to take full use of our relationship in lots of ways."

At what he said, Sarah felt her blood turn cold and a shiver of fear go through her veins as she understood Bobby's true intentions. She was aware that she needed to go cautiously and wait for a chance to permanently break free from his hold.

Sarah drew back. The touch that had made her shudder felt intrusive, oppressive now.

"Bobby," she started, her voice barely a whisper. "I'm exhausted. Can't it wait?"

He laughed in a non-joking way. "Stop being sly, my love. I have officially declared you my own, therefore these games are done." Her bones tingled as he held her face in his palm in a possessive manner.

Sarah felt tears rise up in her eyes. Sadly, the difference between control and affection had grown blurry. Her eyes had been clouded by the stress of getting ready for the wedding and the whirlwind of uncontrolled romance with Derrick, and she had failed to notice Bobby's flirtatious side.

She begged, "But Bobby," her voice faltering. "I..."

He silenced her with a rough kiss, demanding and forceful. His touch, never once a source of comfort, now felt like a violation. Each thrust was accompanied by a whispered mantra, "Now you're mine."

When it was finally over, Sarah lay limp in his arms, tears staining her cheeks. There was no tenderness, no lingering touch, just a cold satisfaction in his eyes as he watched her cry.

Morning arrived, a pale light filtering through the curtains. The remnants of the night's events hung heavy in the air, an oppressive silence broken only by Sarah's choked sobs.

Bobby stirred beside her, running a hand dismissively through her hair. "Come on, love," he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep. "No need for the waterworks."

Sarah pushed his hand away. "Don't you get it?" she rasped, her voice raw. "That wasn't love, Bobby. It wasn't even…affection. It was…possession."

Bobby rolled his eyes, a glint of annoyance appeared on his face. "Don't be dramatic, Sarah. We're married now. This is normal."

"Normal?" Sarah shrieked, rising from the bed. "Is this your idea of normal? A forced intimacy followed by dismissal?"

Bobby sighed, tired from hearing her voice already. "You're overreacting. The wedding was stressfull. And I don't know what else you expected. I definitely won't make love to a pest like you"

Sarah stared at him, a chilling realization dawning on her. The 18months will be hell for her.

But as the weeks went by and Bobby's grip on her grew stronger, Sarah noticed that she was falling more and more into hopelessness. The hardest nights were when Bobby's touch became harsh instead of possessive and his demands were more and more unbearable.

Then, two months later, Sarah found out she was pregnant, which confirmed her darkest fears. She should have been happy to hear the news because it offered her hope for a fresh start and new life. Instead, it made her feel dreadful since she knew Bobby would do whatever it took to keep his hold on her.

She finally got up the nerve to inform Bobby about the baby, but she wasn't prepared for his response. Rather than rejoicing, he became cold and distant, his eyes darkening with anger as he took in the news.

"You're pregnant?" he repeated, his voice low and dangerous. "How could you let this happen, Sarah? Don't you realize what this means for us?"

At his words, Sarah's heart fell, her spirit crushed by the weight of his disappointment. "I-I had thought you would be happy," she stumbled and her voice shook uncomfortably. "I thought...I thought you wanted a family, Bobby."

Bobby's face contorted into a look of disdain as his expression deepened. "A family?" he mockingly said, his voice full of contempt. "Sarah, do you really think I would want a child with you? Are you really thinking that I would want to spend the rest of my life in your tassel?

His words caused Sarah's heart to break; it was as if a hammer had struck her, revealing his actual feelings. She had prayed, hoped, that the baby would be their hope, their opportunity to be saved. However, as of right now, all she was the crushing weight of despair.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't mean to disappoint you, Bobby. I just...I just wanted you to be happy."

Bobby's eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint flickering in their depths. "Well, you've certainly managed to do the opposite, haven't you?" he spat, his voice dripping with venom. "But don't worry, Sarah. I have a solution to our little problem. And I promise you, it won't be pleasant."

With that, Bobby turned on his heel and stormed out of the room, leaving Sarah alone with her tears and her shattered dreams. She knew she couldn't escape him, not now, not ever.

Two months had passed since Sarah discovered she was pregnant with Bobby's child, a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness that covered her marriage. But any illusions of happiness were shattered when Bobby's true colors were revealed once again.

As Sarah sat alone in the doctor's office, her heart heavy with dread, she couldn't shake the feeling of impending doom that hung over her like a dark cloud. She knew what awaited her, what Bobby had planned for their unborn child, and she felt powerless to stop it.

The doctor entered the room, his expression grave as he approached her. "Hi. I'm Dr. Luke. I'm sorry, Mrs. Duke," he said softly, his voice tinged with sympathy. "But your husband has requested that we proceed with the termination."

Sarah felt her blood run cold at his words, her stomach churning with nausea as the full weight of Bobby's cruelty crashed down on her once again. "Please," she whispered, her voice trembling with desperation. "You can't do this. You can't take my baby away from me."

But the doctor's expression remained impassive, his eyes betraying no hint of compassion as he prepared the necessary instruments for the procedure. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Duke," he repeated, his tone cold and clinical. "But I'm afraid your husband has made it quite clear what he wants."

Sarah's eyes filled with tears as she recognized the hopelessness of her pleas and the fact that she was completely by herself in her fight against Bobby's oppressive rule. She experienced the sensation of being a mere piece in his devious scheme, one that he might remove with ease.

Sarah closed her eyes tightly as the surgery started, forcing herself to ignore the agony and the dread of what was happening to her. But the searing pain that tore through her heart as her unborn child was snatched away from her, leaving behind nothing but emptiness and misery, could not be healed by any amount of denial.

When it was all done, Sarah laid on the sterile, chilly table, sobbing uncontrollably as she mourned the loss of what might have been. The brutality of the man who had vowed to love and cherish her but had instead devastated her in the most horrific way imaginable left her feeling shattered beyond repair.

Weeks passed into months, and days into weeks again, but the sorrow of losing her child never subsided. It hung over her soul like a shadow, a never-ending reminder of Bobby's wickedness and the extent he would go to control her.
