"Oh! God, please protect both babies and the mother." I prayed internally hoping he will hear my prayer.

Ten minutes later, Kayish arrived but the exhaustion on his face was faded and replaced with a satisfied smile.

"Hey! Where is Karan?" I asked once he settled on the couch. "He is in the hospital." Then he gave me a smile before revealing the truth that Rachel gave birth to two healthy boys.

"Thank God." I let out a long sigh that I have been holding ever since I came to know about her criticality in labour. Losing a child is not easy like we think, it takes time to cure. Sometimes even time can't heal that wound.

"Riya." He snaked his hand around my waist and planted a kiss on my neck. "You are really a strong woman that I have ever met. What I have done to have you mine and call you mine." His eyes glimmered with sensation.

"I promise you, I won't let anyone harm you or our kids." His voice held so much promise.

"I know that." I pulled his collar making his forehead touch mine. "And we are so happy to have a dad like you." I said reassuringly. "But please come out of your shell, we can't work through this relationship if you are still in our past." I said thoughtfully.

"I will try." He pecked my lips.

"Okay, get some sleep. We can visit her later in the morning." We went back to our bed and once again fell asleep in each other's hands.

As promised, he brought me to the hospital to visit Rachel and her newborn babies. Truth to be told, I'm so excited to see them.

"Is she awake?" Once we reached the hallway Kayish asked Mark who had a black eye due to the lack of sleep but still pretending like alright.

"Yes! She is awake, I will come back." He patted his shoulder and walked past us. "Poor man." I shook my head and entered the room only to see a tiring Rachel and the bundle of two babies who were wrapped in the light Baby blue blanket.

"Hey! Riya, I'm glad you are here." Rachel tried to sit on the bed.

"Shh! Stay here. I'm not going anywhere." I helped her to lie down on the bed. "What are you going to name them?" I asked Rachel looking at the babies. "Clarious Antony and Luke Anthony." Rachel replied and I nodded my head.

"They are so cute." I cooed taking one of the babies in my hand.

"Riya you-" I glared at Kayish that makes him shut his mouth immediately. Seriously, I'm not weak I have enough strength to hold a newborn baby.

"I won't break." I snapped at him making Rachel roll her eyes.

"It's just—" He gave up in his midst not knowing what to say.

"Mommy! The baby is so cute. Can I play with them?" Sweety asked pointing to the other baby who was sleeping peacefully beside Rachel.

"Noo!! You are only playing with me." Karan pouted his lips and ran towards Sweety to engulf her for a tight hug.

"You are not allowed to play with them." He shrieked, which made the baby stir in his sleep. Slowly, the baby started to whimper then his high pitch sound sent alarm to the other baby who was in my hand, which caused him to cry aloud.

"Ohoohoohooo!!" I cooed, gently rocking him back and forth trying to calm him.

"Karan, Sweety is your sister as well as them. You three can play with her, besides she will have her own sibling soon." Rachel tried to point out to her five year old boy.

"No! She can't be my sister. I will marry her once we get old." He folded his arms against his chest and narrowed his eyes at the innocent babies who weren't known what his brother has planned on his little mind for them.

"Yes! I will marry him too." Sweety gave us a toothless smile then Put her hand around his shoulder to draw him closer.

"No! You are not marrying him. Dad will bring you a prince who will take care of my daughter as his princess, not like this little Munk." Kayish said making me facepalm.

I gently placed the baby on his crib then hit his hand far enough to cause him pain. "Really! What is your problem, Mr. Miller? They don't know what they are saying but you- you are unpredictable." I groaned.

"But Riya! I just protecting our daughter. He is a little Munk and I don't trust him." He folded his hands against his well-built chest.

"But Uncle, I will be your good son in law." Karan whined, he is on the verge of crying. Tears were already molded in the edge of his eyes making him look so adorable.

I looked at Rachel for help, but she gave me the same confusing look. Somehow the smile on her face wasn't unnoticed by me.

Sometimes kids may talk nonsense but that was adorable. They don't know what they are talking but knowing everything, Kayish butted into their business. This man is unpredictable.

"We will discuss this later, maybe when you reach eighteen and you-" He pointed her finger towards his brother who was behaving more than an immature child. "My son is more perfect than the prince you are going to find for your daughter." She said looking at his son proudly who gave her a thousand watts smile.

"Thank you, Mommy. I love you so much." Karan slipped out of Sweety's embrace and kissed his mom's forehead.

"Did I miss anything here?" Mark entered the room then picked Karan in his hand.

"A lot." Kayish muttered under his breath.

"Huhmm." I cleared my throat to gain their attention. "Where is your parent?" I asked Rachel.

"They just left before you came." She said and glanced at her brother who didn't meet her eyes a bit.

"Okay! Take a rest. We will come later." Kayish walked towards Sweety and picked her up in his arms.

"Bye, Karan. See you later." She waved her hand before wrapping her tiny hands around her father's neck. I nodded my head as a comprehension with that we walked out of her room.

He is so sensitive when it comes to his parents but still, I have no idea why he is behaving rudely to them. I hope, he has some valuable reason but it's too much.
