"Sweety baby...." Juliet started to blabber, but I raised my hand to stop her.

"Don't touch my patience, Miss. Hamen. It's better to leave if you wish to keep your job." I threw her a murderous glare. I know I'm acting like one of the pregnant women who were in the angry mode but right this moment I don't care.


I strictly informed the doctor not to allow anyone to visit her until she gains consciousness.

She glanced at the little bunny who was stubbornly sitting far away from me and then looked at me. "Okay, boss. I am leaving but she hasn't eaten anything from the evening," She mumbled before walked away.

What did she think about me? Do I look like a babysitter? I cursed and sat there silently.


After a while, my stomach growled loudly begging for me to fill my stomach. I had a burger for my lunch and now I am hungry like a lion.

I glanced at the little bunny who has buried her both cheeks on her open palm and rested them on her knees, tapping her feet continuously on the floor.


"What do you want to eat?" I asked losing my patience. But the little bunny looked at me for what seemed to be a nanosecond, then turned her gaze towards the floor then started to tap the floor again.

"Stubborn," I muttered under my breath then took my phone to order the pizza because I am never fond of hospital food.

The pizza has arrived within half an hour and I'm more glad. I can do whatever I want; no one is going to question me because I own this hospital.

I took a slice of pizza and handed it to the little bunny. She is three and a half years old which means she can feed herself by own.

She looked at me and then my hand then again looked at me. Suddenly, her facial expression changed as her creamy skin turned into a shade of pink, it seems she is going to cry.

"Aren't you hungry?" I asked calmly, biting my inner cheek not wanting to scare her.

Slowly, she nodded her head.

"Then why?" Seriously, I have no idea what was running into her tiny brain.

"My mom used to feed me." She pouted, her eyes got glossy. My heart mellowed seeing her like that but I shook my head to get rid of those feelings and focused on her. The mother and daughter love is getting my nerve.

"Today your mom is not well so eat it by yourself." I handed her a slice of pizza and started to eat mine. But the little bunny didn't touch her food not even glance at the slice.

I put the pizza on the box and set them aside for me before looking at her again.

"Are you going to eat or not?" I raised my voice. But seriously regretted it later a second. I shouldn't have done that, but she left me no option.

She whimpered and threw the pizza on the floor. "I want my mommy," She began to cry. Her face turned into a shade of red and I feel pity for this little bunny for the first time. I tried to convince her but she cried loud enough to make my ear goes deaf.

"I will feed you. Is that okay with you?" I asked but regretted when I realize what was slipped out of my mouth.

"But monster won't feed" ...hiccup... "then how could you feed me?" She again pouted her lips, tears are pooling down through her cheeks. Ahh!! Why it hurt me?

"First, don't call me a Monster. And yes, I can feed you." I said using one of my most calmed tones.

She waited for a moment then nodded her head up and down.

"Okay..." I inhaled deeply. Seem I can able to manage the whole employees more than this kid. I didn't think that it would be very difficult to convince a kid especially this little bunny but I learned the lesson that it is harder than I thought.

I took a small slice of pizza and once again looked at her. Her blue eyes looked at me eagerly waiting for me to feed her. Reluctantly, I put the pizza on her mouth which she gladly opened her mouth.

I started to feed her but stopped when I felt a sharp intimating pain on my finger.

Urggh!! The little bunny bit my finger and it's clear that she did it purposely.

"What for that?" I narrowed my eyes at her.

"I am full." She rubbed her stomach. I tried to feed her again but she refused to open her mouth, so I gave up. I made her drink the water then started to eat mine.

"What?" I asked when I felt her continuous stares at me.

"Can you buy me chocolate?" She asked more likely in her sweet innocent voice.

"No." I sternly said and put the box on the dustbin.

"Hey!!" the little bunny called using her most demanding voice. When I was about to turn, my cell phone rang signaling someone is calling me. I took the cell phone from my pant pocket and attend the call.

It's my annoying friend Harith and I know why he is calling. He has something to do with Riya and was doing this deliberately for taking my nerve.

"Just monitor the CCTV and try to figure out who did this." I told him to shut his mouth and cut the call briefly.

I walked towards the place where I and the little bunny was seated earlier but shocked to see the chair was empty and the little bunny was nowhere to find.

Where did she go? For some unknown reason, my heartbeat accelerated fastly.

Shitt!! I cursed mentally and ran towards the lobby to find her. I alerted all the people who were working in the hospital to look for her.
