Esther smile and she greeted Cindy, "Good evening Cindy, your mom said that dinner is ready."
"I know, tell her I will be downstairs shortly," Cindy answered as she stared away from Esther, and to walked back into her room, and Esther answered ,, "Okay," as she left.
Cindy went to took her shower really fast in the bathroom as she didn't want to delay her mother with them having their dinners together as a family, and since her father wasn't around to keep her mother company.

Cindy smile and she bath really fast, before she stepped out carefully to her bedroom, and she dry her wet body and searched for a purple night gown to wear.. And she proceeded out of her bedroom before she finally goes downstairs.
Mrs Bola look at Cindy, and she shook her head as she had been thinking on how best that she would confused her daughter to marry Jeremy. And though when Jeremy had arrived before, he wasn't angry for not seeing Cindy around, and he understood her plight too.
Mrs Bola sighed and she watch Cindy sat across to her, and Cindy kept on blushing which made her mother confused to be wondering what is going on in her daughter's life that she isn't aware off, As they both sat across to each other and waiting for Esther to step out from the kitchen, with the tray of their dinners. And as Mrs Bola want to know the reason behind her daughter's bright smile, She finally asked Cindy, "Why are you smiling?."
"Mum.. Should I be frowning?" Cindy asked her mother as she sat up properly on her seat, And she added, "I'm happy today, but on seeing Jeremy here just ruined my mood."
Esther stepped out from the kitchen and she walked up to serve their dinners around, and Mrs Bola didn't want to further press on the topic, as she's annoyed with Cindy too, for getting her worried, and she said to Esther, "Thank you "
Soon Cindy and her family resumed eating the delicious jollof rice and fried chicken, and after their dinner section ended. Cindy is still smiling, and she finally thought to spoke to her mother calmly that she wasn't joking about her relationship with Peter, and although, Cindy knew that she hasn't yet introduce Peter to her mother, and she sat on the dinning seat waiting, while she watch Esther clear the used plates to the kitchen. And as her mother stood up to retire back to her room, Cindy said to her mother, "Mom.. I want to speak to you about something.."

"What's it? If is about Jeremy, then know that I'm not interested in discussing about him now."
Cindy frowned as her mother didn't even give her the chance to speak, and she said, "But mum.. You didn't even want to hear me out."
"Go on, and tell me whatever that you want to say Cindy, as I'm very tired now,and I need to go upstairs to my bedroom now and rest," Mrs Bola chimed, and Cindy already stood up from the dinning chair too, as she walked out and she said to her mother, "Mom.. I know that you want me to marry and I really want to marry too, but not Jeremy.."
Cindy spoked in a very calm voice, and Mrs Bola stared at her daughter in silence first, before she finally asked Cindy, "Who do you then want to marry then, As I cannot understand you Cindy?. You shouldn't think that you can see a man that is ready for marriage So easily like that, The reason why I want you to settle down with Jeremy, as Jeremy is ready for marriage now, unlike a lot of guys out there, that might want to be fooling with you, and to as well waste your time too."

Cindy shook her head, and she said, "Not to worry mom, I will Introduce the man that I want to marry to you soon, but not Jeremy, please..."
Mrs Bola sighed, as she knows that Cindy is her only daughter, and she usually does all what her daughter wants, And she as well knows that Cindy has been blushing and probably hiding something from her, but she cannot be so sure what her ruthless daughter is up too.. And Mrs Bola finally replied, "That's fine, but I won't call off the wedding engagement between you both, except you introduce another another man too me, and you have only a week till this month end, and next two weeks, if you fail to bring the man that you want to marry.. Then you should note that your father will be around next month, So I won't be able to speak to him on your behalf, And you will marry Jeremy, by force."
"Mum.. Next month is too early, As we just started dating," Cindy announced,, and as Mrs Bola wanted to walk away, She paused and stared back to her daughter and she replied, "Then cut off the relationship with the guy and tell him that you're getting married soon.. Except he want to marry you."
Cindy couldn't said anything again, as she frowned, and she watch her mother walk away, And Mrs Bola went upstairs to her room, while Cindy stared around the dinning room that she stood, and she knows that she cannot just bring Peter to her family, under a week, when they haven't even define their relationship yet, And Peter is still jobless, to be confronted by her parent.
"No mom.. I cannot marry Jeremy and that's finally," Cindy said out, and she went back upstairs to her room too, while Esther stepped out innocently from the kitchen and she switched off all the living room bulbs as she finally retired back to her room.

The following Sunday afternoon, Cindy woke up in her bedroom and she set to visit Peter as she isn't going to church, And she had stayed all night in her bedroom and thinking about Peter, and how she will explain her family suitation to him, that she ended up sleeping very late, and she woke up at noon, and she finally walked out from her bedroom as she went downstairs.
Mrs Bola have a visitor in the living room, and Cindy stared to the woman's face that is with her mother in shock, And Cindy's eyes widen to see the woman is the same woman that she had seen with Peter the previous day.
"You .. " The woman looked shocked on seeing Cindy too, and Cindy stared away from the woman immediately, and to her mother, and she greeted her mother instead, "Good morning mom."
"Good morning Cindy, won't you say hello to my friend?" Mrs Bola asked her daughter, and Cindy is surprised that her mother has the horny woman as her friend, but Cindy pretended like she wasn't the one that the woman had seen the previous day, As Cindy is still in her nightgown, and the Woman named Patricia Godwin stared from Bola to Cindy, and she spoked, "Is she your daughter Bola?."
"Yes.. She's my daughter that I spoked to you about, My lawyer, and though you know that you haven't had the chance to visit me, so that's why you're just seeing her for the First time."
"Wow, She looks so much like the young lady that I saw yesterday with one guy like that yesterday, that I was asking out," Lady Patricia shamelessly dropped the news, And Mrs Bola stared from Patricia to her daughter in surprise.
"I don't understand, which guy are you talking about with my daughter?. " Mrs Bola looked surprised, but Cindy quickly replied, "Mom, why didn't you and Esther wake me up for breakfast as this already 1pm."
Mrs Bola frowned and she said, "I sent Esther to your room since 8am, 9am, and 11am to wake you up, but you refused to stand up, even as you didn't lock up your room. And I'm too tired to wake you up, so go and prepare your breakfast as Esther had gone out to the market with my driver to refill the house with foodstuffs.. So what were you saying Pat, that you saw someone that look like my daughter, As Cindy doesn't have a boyfriend, and she's doesn't want to marry too.."
Lady Patricia smile as she remembered her one night stand with the guy that Peter had sent to her, and she said, "Let's not go on talking about your daughter, as that's not why I'm here . Did you went to church today, for the womens meeting?."
"No.. I didn't, how about you?" Mrs Bola asked as they both settle on the couches, while Cindy ignored the lady as she went to the kitchen to prepare her breakfast. And though Cindy was surprised to see lady, as she feared the lady would spill the bean about her relationship with Peter, so she immediately exit the living room and went into the kitchen to prepare her tea.
