"Mom, have told you I cannot marry Jeremy. I don't love him" Cindy replied.
"Shut up your mouth Cindy!. Why do you keep stressing me and your father in this house?. Is it because you're our only child or what?. Gosh!" Mrs Bola ranted and Cindy frowned and stood up from her bed as she wrapped her arms around her chest.
"Mom. I don't like Jeremy and that's the truth. I have someelse I like.." Cindy said and Mrs Bola stared to Cindy in shocked at first, as she assumed Cindy was lying to her.

Ever since Mrs Bola knew Cindy, Mrs Bola knew Cindy hasn't for once acknowledged about liking a man.
How come all off a sudden now Jeremy was asking for her hand in marriage, Cindy now remembered that she liked someone and wanted to used the person as an excuse to rejected Jeremy?.
"Forget about the person you're talking about Cindy, as neither I nor your father would support you to marry him. You will have to marry Jeremy, whether you like Jeremy or not and this your father and I have decided, and you cannot go against it."
Mrs Bola turned harshly to left Cindy's bedroom as Mrs Bola was hurt by Cindy's behavior towards Jeremy.
Mrs Bola knew she couldn't changed Cindy as she was also aware that Cindy's behavior stinked.
Not waiting for Cindy's response, Mrs Bola stormed out, clicking her black shoes sharply to the cemented tiled floor and she exited Cindy's bedroom slamming the door shut.

Cindy frowned as soon as her mother left her. As she knew no matter what she might said nor preached to her mother about Peter, that she wasn't in love with Jeremy her parent wouldn't agreed
Cindy sat to her bed and cried as she didn't truly wanted to marry Jeremy.
It was true that Jeremy was also from a well to do societal family status and meet her family prestigious status but Cindy didn't wanted Jeremy for her husband, as she didn't liked him a bit.
"Imagine Jeremy asking me if am a virgin. So if am not he will change and be angry with me right?" Cindy questioned herself, as she sobbed and her eyes turned red as she refused to left her chamber.

Cindy knew Peter hadn't accepted her proposal yet but she still thought to approached him again and made him understood that she was serious about him.
"Maybe I should approach Peter again. Mom and dad cannot force me into a stupid marriage of their own convenience just to maintain a societal wedding and glamorous marriage. No.." Cindy said as she wiped off her teary eyes with the back of her right palm and she picked up her phone and stared to her phone contact list.
Contemplating on whom to call and wanting to exit the house as she knew her mother was severely angry with her, Cindy stared to the contact list on her phone but none was of her interest.
Cindy didn't had any friends aside Lora Adams, as her aloof and billionaire classy nature made her chased even a lot of female friends away from her, except for Lora, and Cindy thought to dial on Lora's number as she needed someone to talked too.
Staring at Lora's phone number on her contact list, Cindy contemplated to dial on it, remembering she had ended the call the previous night on Lora and she sighed, and decided to called Lora first and calmly explained her situation to Lora.
Waiting for the call to connected, Cindy threw the card containing Jeremy phone contact number to the floor in her room, and she silently cussed in her mind never to had anything doing with Jeremy.
"Hello.." Lora's low voice came thru, and Cindy stared to the wall clock time in her room, seeing it was already passed 1pm noon.
"Hello Lora, Hi" Cindy responded and Lora immediately sat up on her bed and asked, "What's wrong Cindy?. Why're you crying?. Don't tell me you're crying because of a man rejecting your proposal?."
Lora immediately asked her mind out, as she had been thinking about how Cindy could propose to a guy to be her boyfriend.
"No Lora. Not about that. Honestly I don't know what to do right now. Mom and Dad is setting me up for an arrange marriage with a senator son and I don't like him." Cindy complained and Lora laughed out.
"Calm down girlfriend. You should be happy at least your parent want you to settle down. How about mine that doesn't even have my time?" Lora asked and Cindy sighed.
"But I don't love the senator son. I don't want him" Cindy said and Lora laughed out in the background again, "Hahaha. Calm down first Cindy, when did you actually fall in love to now know when you love someone or not?."
"Am serious Lora and am not joking" Cindy stated and Lora stopped laughing.
"Fine, but honestly, I think you should still give him a chance and get to know the senator son first. He might be a good man and not a bad person as you might be thinking" Lora advised.
"No.. Not about that. Honestly Lora, there's this handsome guy I saw and I like him. You see . I don't know how to explain it to you as he didn't accepted me. Am hurt and I cannot think of marrying Jeremy as I don't feel anything for Jeremy" Cindy admitted as her face flushed red.
"Okay. So what do you plan on doing now?" Lora asked.
"I don't know. What do you think I should do, but honestly, I cannot accept Jeremy."
"I think you should calm down first girlfriend and think all this thru. Am still shocked you're telling me that you truly proposed to a guy. You Cindy?. This quiet unbelievable. Anyways, just calm down first and don't rush things and if the guy, you're talking about proposing to him, still rejected you again, then I think is best of you to move on and accept to marry the senator son like your parent wanted.
I still don't support you going after a man. Is very irresponsible of a lady to be chasing after a man. He might see you as irresponsible or a slut or a cheap lady, Do you understand what I mean?" Lora asked and Cindy sighed
"Sure I do, but I still like him. Let me just plan it out first, then I will explain it better to Jeremy that we're two worlds apart and I cannot marry him."
"Okay. Just be good and if you're bored at home, you can come over let's hang out today. As am at home now resting, and your call just woke me up right now " Lora said.
"Am sorry" Cindy apologised and Lora sighed.
"Is alright. So long you're in a much better mood now than when you just called me, am fine and okay with that."
"Okay, bye and get back to sleep, let me prepare to go out" Cindy replied and Lora laughed over on the phone call, still finding it surprising that Cindy truly did asked a man out.
Lora knew how Cindy had been ruthless in her previous relationship and she didn't knew if Cindy was a virgin or not.
Cindy had refused doing a lot of silly things lovers do to spice up their relationship and Cindy mostly threatened to sue all her ex to court.
So how come Cindy was now the same woman asking a man out?.
Lora silently wondered in her room inside her mother's mansion how the man that made Cindy to propose to him looked like, as definitely all the past ex boyfriend of Cindy that she had seen were mostly handsome, so how would the man looked like too?.
Lora remembered she didn't even asked Cindy about the man after her heart and she sighed and decided to catch some sleep first as the sun was still burning brightly up in the sky and down to earth.
Cindy finally slided out from her pink bed and picked up Jeremy's card that she had threw to the floor.
Knowing her mother would still be sad about her rude messed up behavior towards Jeremy, Cindy sighed and switched off her laptop and she prepared to went out to know if she would found Peter.
