Hidaya literally sleeps with everyone in the house. They all take turns in babysitting her at night that it was crazy. She was pampered beyond ends. That little girl was just so loveable and affectionate, you can't help but to fall in love with her.
Haya smiled whilst thinking about her second child who is also going to loved equally as she caressed her small bump, "ammi can't wait to hold you, jaani.." She whispered to herself whilst gulping her tablets in a go and made a face at the end.
"Yes, Saad. Thank you, I'll talk to you in the morning." Abrar spoke with his assistant as he closed their door shut and gave his wife a warm smile, "did you take the medicines?" He asked the first thing whilst removing his wrist watch and handing it to her, she took them with a groan and replied, "jii. I did. Just now."
"Good." Leaning down, he kissed her lips fondly and walked into the dressing room leaving a flustered Haya behind. She loves his random kisses.
"Hayat... who is taking care of Hida tonight?" Abrar asked later that night, as they settled on the bed, cuddled in each other's embrace ready to sleep anytime soon.
"With Bano chachi... " There was a small pause.
"She was like; choti dadi jaan tells the best bedtime stories... shab ba khair ammi, and she even kissed my stomach good night. That girl is so energetic, Masha Allah." Haya ran her hand through his hair whilst smiling fondly.
It still feels unbelievable that she had gotten married to the man lying beside her and how their daughter was almost four years old. Time flies pretty fast indeed.
"I'm so glad that Bano chachi has let go of her grudeges and treats our daughter fairly." Haya nodded in understanding. They were almost going to move out of the Shah Haveli but Bi jaan stopped them somehow and after Hidaya's birth, Bano showed a different side of hers, which they all missed for nearly two decades.
Bano has changed for good though. Her toxic behavior affected everyone but now it has recuded to zero. The Shah haveli was filled with only happiness, minus the little tiffs happening now and then. Otherwise, they were one big happy family.
"Meruza called us for dinner this weekend, cancel your plans, if you have any." Haya looked up into his charcoal eyes and he nodded distractedly, "Iflan called me as well, I should ask Saad first. Don't be mad if I can't make it."
It came out as a surprise for the Shah family but Iflan and Meruza has always liked each other and they got married just a year ago after their own tests and trails.
"You always do this." She pouted sadly, but he grabbed her face gently and kissed that adorable pout, "I'm sorry Hayat, its just my job. I'll try my best, okay?" He whispered against her lips before kissing them again, she just hummed getting lost in his kisses.
The sudden knock at the door interrupted their moment and Abrar sat up alarmed, curious to know who it was at that time of the night, "chachi? What happened to her?"
As soon as he opened the door, his daughter flung towards him and hugged his legs, crying her heart out, "baba.... Bad dream." He lifted her in his arms almost instantly and read Ayutulkursi for her.
"She woke up from a nightmare and wanted to sleep with you both, I tried to calm her down. But she was adamant on coming here."
Haya got up from the bed and walked towards her distressed daughter worriedly and passed Bano a thankful smile, "thank you, chachi. You can sleep now. I'll take care of her."
"Shab ba khair, dado ki jaan, you're fine now. It was just a bad dream, we will talk in the morning." Bano kissed Hidaya goodnight, who stopped crying and left from there.
"It's okay, meri jaan. It was just a dream. You are safe now, Baba and Ammi are here for you." Hidaya hugged him tightly and didn't let go of his neck.
There was this one thing though, how much ever Hidaya loved spending time with the other family members, but as soon as something bothers her, the first person she runs to was her father. They had a very beautiful bond which makes Haya jealous sometimes. It was cute though.
Haya couldn't help but mutter an Alhamdulillah and Masha Allah for the adorable family HE has blessed her with as she watched Abrar gently pat Hidaya and rocked her to sleep.
And every time when Abrar takes care of their daughter, like she was something so precious and special. Haya falls in love with that man all over again. She can't believe he's the same guy who she has married. Her eyes were moist with happy tears just at the thought of how far they have come.
"She fell asleep." Abrar mumbled to himself as he laid her in middle of the bed, carefully and stared at his wife, who was lost in her thoughts as she stared into the sky through the windows, "what are you thinking?"
He back hugged her, whilst placing his head on her right shoulders and arms wrapped around her stomach protectively, Haya's breath hitched at this but she smiled in response with a shake of her head, "nothing, I'm just counting my blessings Alhamdulillah, Hidaya and this guy are so lucky to have you as their father." She mumbled referring to their second baby.
Haya wrapped her hands around his and smiled contently as she leaned backwards and enjoyed his hug. This was her safe heaven. She loved being in his arms.
"And we three are very lucky to have you in our lives as well, Alhamdulillah. But it's getting late now, you should have proper rest, Hayat." Coming back into his over protective husband mode, he broke the hug, but she turned around and hugged him tightly once again, taking him by surprise, he hugged her back nevertheless.
"I love you so much, Abrar." She kissed him near his heart and held onto him tightly.
In response he planted a lingering kiss on her forehead as she stared up at him, her hazel brown eyes was filled with so much of love and affection.
"Lets sleep, I'm very tired. Pick me up..." She asked childishly but he took her pretty seriously and lifted her in real, "woah, I was just joking." She laughed but cupped her mouth, aware of her sleeping daughter in the same room.
"I took it seriously," grinning down at her, he carefully placed her back on the bed and kissed her lips one last time for that night.
Abrar Shah can never get enough of his wife and Haya absolutely loves that side of her husband.
"Sleep." He told firmly and joined his girls on the bed, "Hidaya looks just like you while sleeping." He added in a whisper as a small smile played on his lips.
"Go to sleep, Abrar." Haya mumbled sleepily whilst cuddling her daughter and Abrar placed his arms around them both, joining in the cuddle. They made sure not to suffocate Hidaya but she loved sleeping like that, in between her parents.
This was the home Haya has always longed for and Alhamdulillah, she was happy to be finally able to live the biggest dreams of her life.
