[Rock]When I turned to the couch, I saw Carmen sauntering around the end of it. She unbuttoned the shirt she was wearing, my shirt, and let it fall to the ground. My eyes slowly took in every inch of my little wolf. She dropped down to her knees, parting them enough that I could see all of what was mine. Her hands rested on her thighs and her chest heaved with desire. Damn. I didn’t know she was this easily turned on. I’d have to remember that. “Alpha, do you need to use your little wolf ѕlut?” she asked shyly.I crossed the room, lifting her off the floor when I reached her and holding her tightly. Goddess, she made me want her so damned much, but I had things to do. I leaned in close to her ear. “Who do you belong to?” I growled in her ear. “You, Alpha.” “NO. Say my name. Who. Do. You. Belong. To?” I repeated. “I belong to you, Rock Beaumont. I’ll only ever belong to you. I only want to belong to you,” she replied. “Go take a shower. Can you find your way there?” “Yes. Did I do something wrong?” Carmen asked. “You’re young, sweetheart, and your wolf makes you more enamored of the physical aspects of this relationship. I’m not a wolf. I need to take care of this business before I can even consider pleasure. This is far more pressing than the erection I’m trying to quell. Go get cleaned up. I have some calls to make. I love you.” I said and kissed her softly. I set her back on the floor and took her to the hall, pointing her in the direction of our room. She smiled brightly at me, then shifted into the very wolf I had just been talking about. I laughed. She didn’t know I’d seen her wolf, I scratched her behind the ears, as I wanted to do the first time I saw her shift into her wolf. Carmen was a beautiful woman and her wolf was just as beautiful. “I forgot you could do that. Can you see?” Carmen nodded. “Are you disappointed in how ugly I am?” I asked. She turned and licked my face. I laughed. That certainly answered my question. “Go take your shower. I’ll be in the living room.” I watched as she trotted down the hall, wagging her tail. If I was ever weirded out by my mate being a werewolf, it was nothing compared to actually thinking about how much I loved her as she scampered away in her little doggie form. I wasn’t into animals like that.Shaking my head, I went back to the living room. I needed backup and the only two people I knew I could trust were Elbio and Forrest. They’d been with me since we were babies and they would be there for me to the end. They promised. After calling them over, I worked on a plan. I couldn’t back down now that I had an in with the Alpha of her pack. He had to listen to me because I had something he wanted. Carmen was mine and if he wanted her to remain a member of the pack, he would give me whatever I asked for. Not that I was going to ask for a million dollars, but I would ensure that Carmen was never in danger when we visited her family and friends in the pack lands. Having one or two werewolves with permission to be in the fae lands was one thing. More than that and the others got nervous. It might not go over well with the other fae if they were worried about outsiders coming in and taking away their privacy again. None of us ever wanted to hide what we were in our own homes again. There was a knock at the door, but they didn’t wait for me to answer it, true to form, my friends walked right into the house. They looked tired but alert enough. “Where’s the little woman, Rock? In a coma somewhere?” Elbio laughed. “She’s taking a shower. You should try it sometime,” I replied. “Only if your mother will join me.” “You wouldn’t survive a shower with my mother, you fuсking bіtch.” Forrest laughed and Elbio scowled. He had forgotten that I didn’t get defensive about that stuff like they did. “I need your help. You boys want to go scare the ѕhit out of some werewolves?” I asked. “Freshly mated and she already has you avenging her slights? Whipped.” Elbio chuckled. “They called her a child and hit her. They tried to marry her off to another wolf, even knowing that she had a mate out there waiting for her. The only whipping happening is the whipping I’m going to give her father.” A rumble came from Forrest. When mountain trolls growled, it sounded like a rock slide. It was a chilling sound. Though the fact that he was carrying a purse almost made me start laughing. That would be a bad idea. “Someone hurt my friend. I’m in.” I knew Carmen had created a bond with Forrest, but I didn’t realize how much. He did always want a human friend and envied my relationships with softer beings. Forrest could never quite get the interactions with them right. It was hard sometimes. “Fine, I guess I’ll come along,” Elbio said. “I appreciate you guys coming with. I don’t want those wolves to get any ideas. Against one troll, they might, against three, they’ll think twice.” “I don’t really get what’s going on. They think they can marry your mate off to someone else? Who the fuсk does that?” Elbio asked. “Her parents seem to think that they own her and she’s some sort of child, Elbio. She’s marked, so the guy can’t mark her for his own. I don’t want her father to think he can force her to do something she doesn’t want. I’d like for this to be a get in, get out situation that ends with me and Carmen back here by dinner time.” “So you wanted me and Elby, as the two scariest trolls in town, to come with. I get it. He’s a little slow. Rocks for brains, you know.” Forrest laughed. “Fuсk you, Forrest,” Elbio growled. “Well, I already fuсked your sister, I guess it can be your turn. Sharing is caring,” Forrest replied. There was a giggle from the hallway. I went over and looked around the corner. Carmen was standing there in a towel. I wanted to keep this all to myself. Carmen like this was only for me. “Spying on us?” I asked. “No, I just came out to tell you I forgot my purse at Forrest’s house and I need my lotion. I just didn’t want to interrupt your conversation. Forrest’s comment was too funny, though, I couldn’t help it.” She giggled again. “This is a lot of trouble you stirred up, wolf. You’re lucky your mate has such good friends.” Elbio snarled. “I definitely appreciate it.” “I brought your bag with me,” Forrest said. He tossed the purse when I held up my hand and I handed it off to Carmen, making sure she had a grip on it and didn’t lose her hold on her towel. All of that sweet skin belonged to me. She pulled the purse to her chest and held it tightly. “You can grab a shirt out of my closet to put on. We’ll be right out here, planning things. If Elbio can improve his mood.” I chuckled at her cute, cheeky smile. “Maybe he’ll feel better after Forrest rearranges his guts,” she replied before turning and walking down the hallway. I turned back to my friends and started laughing along with Forrest. Elbio didn’t seem to be as pissed and snickered a little to0. If Carmen could get Elbio to laugh at a dig on him, then she was obviously sent by the goddess herself. “After seeing her at the party and now, I have to say, she is going to be a good troll mate,” he said. “I agree and she’s not all that ugly,” Forrest added.“I never thought she was ugly. Unlike you two, I think all women are pretty, but my mate is beautiful,” I told them. “You’re just happy to get laid and don’t give two ѕhits what the woman looks like. It’s a good thing she’s blind. Goddess only knows how fast she’d be out the door if she could see your ugly mug.” Forrest teased. “True, if it has a hole, he’ll stick his diсk in it.” Elbio scoffed. “That’s not true I still won’t fuсk Forrest’s sister. Even when I was going crazy from my coming-of-age, I wouldn’t have been able to make myself fuсk his sister.” I shuddered. “Damn it, Rock, stop talking about my sister!” “Yeah, if you do it too much she just appears like some sort of specter and you have to fuсk her to get her to leave. That’s what happened to me.” Elbio told me, shaking his head sadly. “I’ll never unsee that….” They started throwing punches, but it was all in fun. Neither one was seriously trying to hurt the other. We were always like this, ever since we learned to talk. Before then, we would babble at each other until it came to blows, according to our moms. Carmen came out sometime later with one of my favorite shirts on. I loved seeing her in my shirts. They were like dresses on her, but mine. All mine. I went over several parts to a plan. What we did hinged on things like how the wolves behaved. Forrest would be watching over Carmen while Elbio watched my back. They would stay out and guard the van if I needed to go in to meet with the Alpha. Once we were set, we went and got a trailer hooked onto the van. It was modified to be able to carry my friends but not much more, inside the van. I helped Carmen in and kind of wished I hadn’t ripped off all of her clothing. Seeing her breasts move so freely under the shirt she was wearing was doing things to me that were distracting as hell. At least we’d have some clothes for her after this. That was what was important. This was Carmen’s home and I wouldn’t have her feel like she was a guest in it. As we drove to the pack lands, Elbio and Forrest made sure to tell Carmen every single embarrassing story from when we were kids. She laughed and listened. She asked me questions and I answered as best I could without seeming like too much of an idiоt. They didn’t let up, especially since I never had a weak point before when it came to teasing. Now I had one and it was fairly obvious. I was weak about my mate thinking poorly of me. She didn’t seem to, though. If she thought of an experience she had that was similar, she would tell us. It was sweet, but she was giving them ammunition to use against her later. I hoped she didn’t regret it too much. When we reached the pack lands, we were waved through, after a quick stop, by the same guards who had stopped us back when I was bringing Carmen back the first weekend we were together. They told me to drive to the packhouse. That was good. I headed for the only place I knew in the pack lands, the packhouse. We could go wherever we needed after that. Approaching the packhouse, I could see a crowd gathered. It wasn’t just the ranked members, but her parents and some older couples. There were a few dozen other people. Four men stood at the front of the crowd. Two of them, I recognized and another I didn’t. He was the only one without a female standing near him. That must be the man Carmen’s parents brought to marry her. Before we left, I told Forrest and Elbio that I would be in my glamour and they shouldn’t be. I needed the fear associated with seeing my hulking friends in this place the wolves thought was safe. I had to look like I did when I dropped Carmen off, so they would definitely know it was me. I got out of the van and went around to get Carmen out. I didn’t want to bring her out, but they needed to see that she was unharmed and comfortable. When I went to open the other door for my friends, I noticed there were more people than before. Trolls in the pack land might be something of interest for most of the pack, but I didn’t like Carmen feeling like some sort of sideshow. It pissed me off that so many people thought they could just come gawk at my mate. They probably thought she wouldn’t know, but I knew she did. Once the door was open, Forrest and Elbio got out of the van. I took Carmen’s hand and wrapped her arm around mine. As we moved forward, Forrest and Elbio flanked us and walked with us. I was grateful for them and amused by the terror in the eyes of so many werewolves. “There are a lot of people here,” I told Carmen quietly. “I see your brother, sister-in-law, and parents standing with the Alpha, Luna, and two other men. One is blond and tanned and the other has dark hair and a bored expression. There are some older people with your parents. They look about my age. There are a bunch of other people standing a good distance away.” “The blond is Ben, the Gamma of the pack. I don’t know the other, but he could be Roald, the Beta of Polar Star. The people with my parents are probably the previous Alpha and Gamma of the pack and their mates. They are all friends with my parents,” Carmen whispered. I led her to the Alpha. He was the one we had business with. Everyone else was there for their own reasons. Carmen took a deep, slow breath. I learned she did that when she was nervous and trying to calm herself.
