CHIARA POV
As the night went on, Sanya suddenly suggested that we play a game. The alcohol had started to affect us, and our inhibitions were loosening. Sanya and I were feeling a bit tipsy, laughing at even the slightest jokes. Meanwhile, Alexa, being the responsible one, had been holding back on the drinks as she would be the designated driver to take us home safely.
Curiosity mixed with a hint of skepticism, I looked at Sanya and asked, "A game?" Wondering what kind of mischief this girl had in mind. Alexa, wearing a puzzled expression, chimed in, "What kind of game?" Her forehead creased with uncertainty.

Amidst the laughter and the swirling buzz in the room, Sanya couldn't contain her excitement. She raised her voice, clearly intoxicated, and exclaimed, "Spin the bottle!" The words slipped out of her mouth with an air of mischievous delight, leaving us pondering the fun or trouble that awaited us in this game.
I turned to my friend Sanya, completely taken aback by her suggestion. "Really, Sanya? Spin the bottle?" I couldn't hide the disbelief in my voice as I shot her a look of pure astonishment.
She nodded at me, a mischievous smile dancing on her lips. "Yes! What's wrong with that? Don't tell me you're scared? What a pity, hahaha" Sanya taunted, clearly enjoying teasing me once again. Tsk, she knows exactly how to push my buttons.
I shot her another incredulous look, silently questioning her decision. "Nah, I'm not scared, like duh? It's just that it's boring, so let's do something else" I retorted, my tone laced with frustration. The thought of playing spin the bottle in a club seemed absolutely monotonous to me. Tsk, I can't believe they actually find it exciting.
I turned to another friend of mine, Alexa, hoping for some backup. But to my dismay, she seemed just as enthusiastic about the game. "For me, I'm game for spin the bottle. It's exciting, especially here in the club!" Alexa said, beaming. Are they really my friends? I couldn't help but question their taste in entertainment.
"Okay then, if you say so," I reluctantly agreed, feeling like I had no choice in the matter. What else could I possibly do? Argh, sometimes being the odd one out is frustrating. Sanya's smile widened when I reluctantly gave in, evidently pleased with her persuasive skills. She didn't seem happy at all (insert heavy sarcasm), tsk.

"Okay, game! I'll spin the bottle," Sanya declared, taking charge.
As the bottle spun, my heart sank. "Really? Me?" I asked incredulously, pointing to myself as the bottle came to a stop, pointing directly at me. Argh, I hate that stupid bottle!
Sanya nodded at me, an impish gleam in her eyes. "Yes, and as you can see, there's no cheating involved. So, truth or dare?" she asked, smirking with anticipation.
I weighed my options, my distrust towards them lingering in the back of my mind. "Truth," I answered in a bored tone, deciding that avoiding any potential disaster was the safest route to take. Deep down, I knew that Sanya was capable of coming up with outrageous dares that would put me in an uncomfortable position.

Sanya gave me a what the hell look, clearly disappointed by my choice. "Truth? Seriously, you have no thrill. You're no fun, girl!" she exclaimed, her disappointment dripping from her words. Such a witch.
I rolled my eyes, unimpressed by her comment. "It's a Truth or Dare game, right? Not a Dare game," I retorted, not willing to bend to her expectations.
"Okay, let's go with truth since you're scared," I overheard Sanya whisper to Alexa, deliberately making sure I could hear her.
I sighed inwardly, frustrated by their insistent teasing. "Okay, let's go with dare then" I bravely decided, raising my eyebrows challengingly at Sanya. Who's scared now, huh?
Alexa, sensing the tension, chimed in with a word of caution. "Are you sure about that, Chiara? You know Sanya..." she began, her grin widening mischievously.
"You said 'dare,' so be it!" Sanya declared triumphantly, clapping her hands together like a gleeful child.
My curiosity piqued as I leaned in, waiting for her daring proposition. "So, what's my dare?" I asked cautiously, raising an eyebrow and hoping that this time she would take it seriously. Tsk, I can't believe I'm actually going along with this.
To my surprise, Sanya pointed behind me, a devious smirk playing on her lips. As Alexa and I turned to look, my gaze settled on a guy with glasses... it's him.
"What's with him?" I asked Sanya, my eyes still fixed on the mysterious guy.
Sanya's smirk grew wider as she finally revealed the daring task that lay ahead of me. "He's your dare!" she announced, relishing in her moment of triumph.
It had been about a week since I last laid eyes on him, and now here he was again, standing across the room. "Omg! He's so handsome!" exclaimed Alexa, unable to contain her excitement. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. Handsome indeed, I thought, agreeing with her inwardly.
"What? Him? He's snobbish," I commented, raising my concerns to both Alexa and Sanya. I had encounter with him before, and it didn't paint a very pleasant picture.
"O M G! Do you know him? How? When? Where?" Alexa bombarded me with questions, her curiosity in overdrive. This girl was undeniably nosy, always wanting to know every detail.
"Not really," I replied, briefly glancing at Maximo. Maximo, such a nice name. Despite my reservations, I couldn't deny the allure of his presence. "So, what's my dare?" I reluctantly asked, feeling as though I had no choice in the matter.
Sanya grinned mischievously as she revealed the dare. "He just needs to say 'I love you' to you in a month or make him fall for you, and if not, you have to go back to Xander," she said, clearly enjoying the mischief she was causing.
"What?! And what if Xander doesn't want me anymore?" I raised an eyebrow, feeling overwhelmed by the audacity of the dare. It seemed like too much to ask or risk losing everything.
Sanya remained unfazed by my concerns. "Then court him!" she declared, her tone completely serious. Was she for real? She must be really drunk to suggest something so far-fetched.
"What?! Why would I do that?" I rolled my eyes at their antics. The idea of chasing after someone didn't sit well with me.
"Oh, why are you afraid of losing the dare? What happened to your motto in life, 'What Chiara wants, Chiara gets'?" Alexa probed, questioning my reluctance. She had a point, but why did it have to be him out of all people? He seemed so snobbish, tsk!
"What if he has a girlfriend?" I voiced my concerns, not wanting to meddle with someone else's relationship. I had a strong aversion to causing harm or interfering in such matters.
"No, he's single, I swear!" Sanya assured us confidently, attempting to alleviate my worries.
"How do you know?" I questioned, skeptical of her claim. I couldn't help but wonder if she was trying to fool us.
"Like duh? He's pretty well-known here in the Club. He is Maximo Luis Gonzales, 23 years old, and single!" Sanya introduced him with a sense of authority.
"Okay, deal!" I said to my companions, my gaze fixated on Maximo. I couldn't deny the intrigue and challenge that is presented. "You, my dear Maximo Luis Gonzales, will be my dare, and I am confident that victory will be mine. Believe me when I say what Chiara wants, Chiara gets," I silently affirmed in my mind.
As we continued observing, Sanya pointed out someone approaching Maximo. It became clear that they were not together as Maximo raised an eyebrow in response to her flirtatious advances. He really was as snobbish as I had suspected.
Suddenly, without warning, Alexa forcefully pushed me, causing me to stand up abruptly. Irritated by her sudden pushiness, I demanded an explanation. "Why did you push me?!"
"Come on, she might get him first!" Alexa urged, pointing towards Maximo and the person who had approached him. She didn't want me to miss out on any potential opportunity.
"Go girl!" Sanya chimed in, joining in on the encouragement. Her eyes held the unspoken message of "You can do it," giving me a boost of confidence.
I just rolled my eyes at them. Taking a deep breath, I gathered myself and walked towards Maximo, ready to face this daring challenge head-on. As I approached, I could already hear the voice of this woman, and it was evident from Maximo's face that he didn't want her there as his forehead furrowing.
"I've been watching you, Maximo, and it looks like you're alone," this flirtatious woman said, her voice filled with pretentiousness. Tsk!
"Sorry, but I'm with someone," Maximo said to the woman.
"Yeah, he's with me," I said as I got closer to them, sidling up to Maximo. I noticed that he seemed surprised, and I myself didn't know what I was doing, probably because of my intoxication. When I faced the woman, she raised her eyebrow at me, so I raised mine back. Who did she think she was? She had no idea who she was dealing with, and I wouldn't back down.
"Really?" the flirt asked. In response to my bold claim, the flirtatious woman almost chuckled dismissively and scanned me from head to toe. Without hesitation, I returned the favor, assessing her appearance with confidence. It was clear to both of us that I exuded a greater level of beauty and allure. She simply couldn't compare.
With an infuriating smirk, I turned my attention back to Maximo, emboldened by our unspoken connection. Fueled by the moment, I impulsively kissed him, surprising even myself. The taste of his lips was beyond heavenly, and I sensed his initial astonishment, which quickly transformed into enthusiasm as he reciprocated the kiss.
Deepening the intensity of our embrace, I felt a shift in the atmosphere. The flirtatious woman, clearly bothered by our display, huffed in annoyance and departed from our vicinity. As I broke away from the kiss, a satisfied smile played upon my lips, relishing the victory. Maximo, captivated by our newfound chemistry, eagerly pursued my lips, fueling my amusement. When he eventually opened his eyes, I winked mischievously. I had successfully shown him that he was mine, and there was no need for any further competition.
