Feeling the need for a change of scenery, Luke and I decided to visit a nearby waterfall the following day. We wanted to take a break from the usual hustle and bustle especially when Aric had become a nuisance. Because of his unwarranted jealousy at the bar last night, we ended up in the police station, and it was the most embarrassing part of my life.
Going outside before six in the morning in my summer dress, the morning was crisp and clear. Luke, being a gentleman as ever, had assisted me climb up into the pick-up he chose to take for our adventure. Honestly, I still didn’t understand why Dad allowed him to use anything in the garage when Mom and I weren’t allowed to touch any of his things!
“What are you going to do with Aric? It’s obvious he still loves you,” he mentioned.

“He loves me? Are you sure? Then why was he always dating with various women?”
“Because it’s normal for men to have a lot of women,” he replied, and I glared at him.
“What about you, Luke Skywalker? Do you also have a lot of side chicks?”
“Of course not, I a one woman man,” he claimed but I rolled my eyes in disbelief.
The drive to the waterfall almost lasted for an hour, and as we neared our destination, the sound of rushing water filled the air. Since we had to walk to the main waterfall, Luke parked the vehicle at the designated parking area for tourists.
Thankfully, my body was trained lately, or it would be hard to breathe just fine after walking for twenty minutes before reaching the main tourist attraction. The sight that greeted us was nothing short of breathtaking. The waterfall cascaded down the rocks, creating a mist that sparkled in the sunlight. The surrounding greenery added a vibrant touch to the scene, making it look like a painting come to life.

“It’s gorgeous!” I exclaimed.
“Yes, it is,” Luke agreed, and then he took out his fancy camera and excitedly asked me to pose for some pictures.
I hesitated at first because I was feeling a bit shy in front of the camera, but Luke insisted. He told he wanted to capture the beauty of the falls, and of course, I was also included when he said those words. He was just probably shy to admit it to me.
I thought he was so serious but the moment he was holding the camera, Luke changed into someone else, and he acted like a professional photographer. With a smile, Luke guided me through different poses and encouraged me to be myself.

He made me feel comfortable and reminded me that I looked beautiful. Well, I had always known that I was beautiful because I inherited most of my Mom’s features, and then when I became comfortable posing for the camera, he started taking photos.
“You look amazing, Isabella! Yeah, just like that. Be yourself and have fun with it,” he told me for the nth time.
“I am trying, Luke. As you well know, I am not used to being in front of the camera,” I explained.
“Don’t think too much about it. You'll do great!”
“Okay, but how about I’ll be the one to take photo now? Come on, Luke!” I convinced him to do the pose by himself too, but then, a good Samaritan came to us.
The woman with blonde hair smiled at us, and then she offered to take our photos, saying that couples should be photographed together. For a moment, I was thinking if Luke and I really looked a couple.
When I glanced at Luke, he suddenly felt uncomfortable, but then he handed his camera to the stranger. As he joined me, the stranger started taking photos, and then she was so excited while doing it that she commanded us to pose like this, and like that. Suirely, she had fun while taking the photos.
Afterward, we both thanked the stranger who took our photos and she said she was glad to help. Then, Luke asked me if I wanted to eat breakfast first before swimming, and I said, we should explore the place first. Anyway, it was still early.
When we asked the local, we learned that there were small waterfalls at the upper part of the mountain. I was excited to see it, so we went there, and the goodness, the view above the main waterfall was breathtaking!
Since no one was swimming there, I said to Luke that we should try swimming there. It was like a private place for the both of us, but thirty minutes later, several tourists came and joined us.
As it became crowded, Luke and I decided to check the restaurant because he was already starving. I was also hungry. We chose to sit at the alfresco dining as our clothes were wet. Luke ordered their special chicken soup, and I tried the fish.
It was a sumptuous breakfast, and after eating, we decided to check the souvenir shop. We picked up some local delicacies there and of course, some items that mom would probably love.
Then, Luke asked if we could check the main waterfall. I agreed but then I was petrified when he threw me on the cold water. I almost choke from the sudden rush of water into my nose.
"Jerk..." I muttered but before I could say more, Luke jumped to join me, and he was laughing as if he was having fun.
"Looks like someone is being grumpy? Can I say sorry?" he tried to charm me, and I hated myself for being captivated by his sweet word.
“Come on, stop frowning, Isabella. Let’s swim over there,” he told me, and I nodded.
I never thought that swimming here would be this refreshing. Aside from my body ache, everything was fun. We had so much fun along with other tourist that we failed to notice the time.
As we decided to leave the area when I stood frozen. Luke narrowed his eyes while looking at me. Then, he asked.
“What’s wrong, Isabella?”
"I can smell other werewolves nearby, but it is weird."
He flinched. "What do you mean? Enemies?"
