“Isabella? Isabella!”
My eyelashes fluttered when I quickly opened my eyes, and then my heart sank at the realization that the kiss happened in my dream. How the hell did I fall asleep when it was just a few minutes’ drive from his home to the supermarket? When I glanced at his reaction, he was bewildered.

“Isabella, what’s wrong?” he asked. “Why are you crying?”
I shook my head while wiping the tears using the sleeves of my sweatshirt. I was pitiful and hopeless for this one-sided love that I daydreamed about him kissing me.
“A nightmare,” I replied, and suddenly he squeezed my hand and then he smiled at me.
But then, I was more surprised when he gave me a comforting hug, and even if it was done in a friendly manner, I couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss we shared in my dream.
I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down because I didn’t want Luke to think I was such a crying baby. Then, I vowed that starting this day, I should just focus on improving myself and to guard my heart.
“Let’s go,” I said and he nodded in response.

He helped me in getting out of the car, and then we walked side by side toward the big supermarket. Then, were greeted by several types of shoppers. Then, I watched Luke as he took a cart, and gestured for me to keep close.
As he led me to different shelves to get what we needed, I didn’t complain. But then, my eyes caught several women swooning for Luke. I just mentioned earlier that I should focus on myself, but when jealousy strikes, I ain’t that strong to fight the feeling.
Then, as easily as 1,2, 3, Luke smiled at the woman and started talking to her in a friendly manner. It was painful to watch him flirting with another woman. Earlier, he gave me his card, so the moment he was done picking what we came to the supermarket, I decided to pay for the groceries right away.
So, I left him practicing his skills in flirting with women.

Meanwhile, I silently left his side and walked toward the cashier to pay. It didn’t take long before the items were packed, and then I left while struggling with the shopping bags.
I couldn’t stay longer in there because I didn’t want my jealousy to turn into something uncontrollable. Furthermore, I was aware that a werewolf like me possessed a strong emotion, since I hadn’t seen my wolf in action, I should still be careful.
In the parking lot, I waited for him. Then, while waiting, I looked up into the sky and for a moment, I felt peace. I was lost in thoughts when someone tapped my back, and I was defensive when I turned around.
As my reflexes were working just fine, I grabbed his arms and pinned him down. Then, I instinctively put my hand on his neck, until I realized who it was. I panicked when I recognized him.
“Relax, Isabella…,” he mumbled after coughing.
My eyes widened and I immediately helped him up. What the hell was wrong with him? He was always around whenever I went, and although it might just coincidence, I couldn’t stop thinking about his dirty proposal at the café and wondered if he was planning his next move carefully.
“I’m sorry, Jimuel! I thought it was a stranger!” I exclaimed but he just laughed while wiping out the dirt on his shirt.
“It’s fine, Isabella. I know it’s my fault. I should have just announced my presence instead of sneaking behind your back. But then, for someone like you, you are so strong. For a moment, I thought you aimed to kill me. I should be wary,” he said.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t mean any harm, Jimuel. It was just self-defense,” I explained.
“I understand you. Did you come here alone?”
“No. Luke came here with me, but seriously, I hope you don’t do it again,” I told him.
“Do what, Isabella?”
“Sneaking behind my back. It might be dangerous,” I warned him.
“By the way, where’s Luke? Can I invite you for coffee? I want to apologize properly because I was a jerk the last time we talked to each other. I know I made a mistake that day, Isabella. Can you still forgive me?”
“Stop bothering her, Jimuel!”
“Luke Skywalker! What a surprise!” Jimuel explained before smiling at Luke. “Isabella told me that she came here with you.”
“That’s right, and I am sure she told you not to bother her gain, right?”
“What a shame, Luke? As much as I didn’t want you to become my enemy. Don’t worry, I just want to treat him with some cakes and coffee. Can I borrow her for a moment? Don’t worry, I won’t take so much of her time.”
“No,” Luke replied.
“How about next time? Here’s my business card, Isabella. Call me whenever you need a shoulder to cry.”
When Jimuel left, Luke grabbed my shoulders and guided me inside the car.
“Seriously, you need to stop talking with the bastard. I am warning you, Isabella,” he said while clenching his jaw. “I told you he’s dangerous!”
“I know,” I mumbled.
I knew that Jimuel wasn’t a good man. He even offered that dirty proposal once. He was good at lying at manipulating people, but he was so bad at it. But Luke Skywalker should also stop acting like a gentleman.
“Let’s go home now,” he proposed and I nodded my head in agreement.
Then, after a few minutes of driving, we reached his mansion, and the moment he parked the vehicle, I got out of the car without his help. He glared at me afterward but I didn’t mind.
“Do you like Jimuel?” Luke suddenly asked and I was taken aback.
