Luca's POV
"You are certain the Starr brothers have left Fire Moon?" I asked the man in front of me.
"I'm positive! I heard the Alpha tell Tessa and the other ranked members this morning it is a top secret mission that is coming directly from the Fairy King. He doesn't even have the details of it. The Starr brothers and some other fairy are the only ones going."

"Keep my future wife's name out of your mouth you f**k!" I shouted at my source. This f*****g moron knows not to mutter my sweet's name! Good help is just getting harder and harder to find. Though in reality, I should count my eggs that the simpleton hasn't been discovered yet. It's honestly a miracle.
"Sir, how do you want me to proceed?"
"Wait. Tessa will be heavily guarded and you'll be shredded to pieces before they let you near her." I need this imbecile alive for the time being. He nodded and took his pathetic a** right back to the pack.
I hung up and walked outside of my hidden sanctuary, taking in the mountain views. I positioned my hideaway right under that f****r Amos Rainwater's nose and due to my spells, none of them have any clue I'm just outside their borders! I plan on staying until I have enough witches ready to attack and raze this pack to the f*****g ground!
And finally make Tessa mine.
"So just where did he send the gruesome twosome to?" I pondered out loud. Slowly I began to chant and attempt to break the magic barriers, but to no avail once again.

"Top secret mission. No one knows but Arlen and the Starrs. How can I find out what those three f**ks are up to!?" I paced my sanctuary racking my brain to the point my head ached from the strain. Until suddenly, I had an epiphany. As unhappy as she was going to be about being summoned, I needed Desdemona's help and began the chant to get her in front of me.
True to form, Desdemona appeared in front of me and immediately slapped me across the face. "Haven't you heard of something called a phone, you fool!!" She hissed at me, then stopped and sniffed the air around us.
"Oh my goodness. I sense him!!! The little healer!!" Desdemona almost bolted to the outside but I froze her before she f****d things up for me royally!!
"No Auntie!! Too much magic, too many barriers, and too many faes and wolves are guarding the territory. But I think I may have something and need your help. I heard from my source the Fairy King has sent the Starr brothers on a secret mission."

"You stupid little p***k, you summoned me here for that!?" Desdemona broke free from my hold and slammed me against the wall of my sanctuary. Since it's invisible to the naked eye, she actually slammed me into mountain rock.
"Do you want to keep fighting and attract attention Aunt Desdemona! Last I checked you are still the Witch Ruler!! Act like it!!" I hissed at her and finally she stopped.
"You said this mission involved only the Starr brothers?"
"My source said one other fae, but that was all." Desdemona looked at me carefully.
"Think carefully back to that day in Georgia. It was the Starrs and several others after you. Can you remember anything about the others besides the Starr's mates?"
"Wait. Yes, there were four other supernaturals there! They were faes and something else, and they're all related!" I trailed off.
"They're quadruplets. From a demon father and fae mother. Arlen trained them to be hired hands and enforce his Kingdom. Think back Luca. What powers do you remember these four having?" Desdemona explained to me.
"Quite a lot, Auntie. One of them could be invisible like me. The girl could make the earth move."
Desdemona appeared in deep thought. "I doubt Arlen recruited the girl for this mission. She's mated to the Alpha of the pack Brent Serrano went to hide and has gone into a retirement of sorts. So he took one of the three brothers. But for what purpose? You said the Alpha of Fire Moon doesn't even know what this is about??" An idea came to me out of the blue.
"Auntie. What if the good King Arlen finally found his mate? If he has, what is it about his mate that needs to involve the Starrs and one of his hired hands?" I speculated.
"He takes two of his strongest faes with ties to surveillance and monitoring and they bring a hired hand." Suddenly Desdemona clapped her hands.
"The mate isn't a fae!! If she was he wouldn't be going to these lengths. Oh Aine...oh you stupid fool!" Desdemona started cackling and faced me.
"I think it's safe to speculate the future Fairy Queen is some pathetic little human." She smirked at me.
"That makes weakening his power much too easy." I smirked back at her.
"Make haste, nephew. Go back to Silver Creek and use your invisibility to get into a computer and access TSA logs. Find out where those three went!" Desdemona disappeared into a puff of smoke right in front of me.
I didn't waste any time. I shifted into my wolf and within three hours, I was at the borders of my home pack and used my invisibility to breech the border and get into the packhouse. I literally only had minutes to get to my old office.
"Whoever this new Alpha is needs to beef up his cyber security!" I laughed as I realized the fool left his computer logged into. One quick glance at the TSA log told me the Starrs were on a plane heading to Portland, Maine. And within a few hours, so was I.
Several hours later I landed in Portland and noticed a large presence of TSA and FBI workers when I got off the plane. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they were about to lock down the airport. Thankfully I only brought a carry on bag because just when I got right outside, they declared a lockdown.
"Hey officer. What is going on?" I asked the first police officer I saw going into the airport.
"A prisoner escaped from up at the state prison and is probably headed here." The officer told me before he ran inside. Could it really have been this easy?? I made my way to a park bench to check my phone and see where this prison was. It was only an hour and a half away, then I got a news alert on my phone about the escape.
Patrick Jenkins, 36, escaped from Maine State Prison this afternoon. He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do NOT approach him! Call the hotline listed below.
A quick search of Google showed me everything I needed to know about the kind of man Patrick is. It intrigued me greatly to know he tried to use a rattlesnake to try and kill his ex-girlfriend. A mind almost as dark as mine.
"Pity, this one really could have been great. We could have worked well together. But he got stupid." I sneered.
According to the news article, Patrick escaped custody no more than two hours ago when he failed to report for dinner. The investigation showed at this time no signs of forced entry into the cell nor any damage inside the cell suggesting he Shawshanked his way out. The warden commented it was almost like Patrick just vanished into...
"THIN AIR! SON OF A B***H!" I made my way out of Portland to the wooded areas, shifted into my wolf, and ran as far as I could north towards the prison.
"They won't be on the main roads." I muttered to my wolf, Zade. Within the hour though...
I smell FAES! Zade howled.
I ran to an access road and suddenly, a red SUV came into view speeding towards me. I saw that f**k Anthony Starr driving it! I became invisible and entered the car, grabbed the human in the back. He was still wearing his prison clothes. It took only seconds to get him out of the car and as far as I could across the frozen landscape, with the red SUV close behind me.
"LUCA LOMBARDO! UNHAND THAT MAN RIGHT F*****G NOW!!" I looked back and only saw the Starrs. Since I did not have eyes on the demon fairy, I froze the human momentarily to keep him from running and waited for the other thing to manifest. Suddenly I felt a presence and we both showed ourselves in front of the other.
"I can be invisible too, wolf-witch!!" The demon fae shouted. I created a fire ring around myself.
"You will have to get through this!" I laughed at them. This was my favorite power of all, because even with invisibility it would incinerate them all to ash to penetrate it.
"Luca I will kill you another day. Right now I want that prisoner!!" Anthony shouted at me.
"Well he's MINE NOW! Now if the three of you do not wish to die here away from your lovely mates, take that car back to the airport and GET F****D!!!" I shouted at the three of them. To make my point, I hurled a vertical line of fire at them that they all recoiled in horror from.
"I see we understand each other. Oh Anthony?? Tell my future bride I said hello and I will see her and those beautiful babies soon! Ta-ta!" I grabbed my bounty and disappeared, running as far as I could while invisible. Once I got further into the woods, I chanted to create a makeshift temporary sanctuary where I sat my bounty down and rendered him immovable, but able to speak.
"Now just what in the world does the Fairy King want with you??" I sneered at Patrick.
"Who are you!?" Patrick screamed.
"I ask the questions here!?" I shouted.
"What King!?! It's some Queen who wants me dead!!" I grabbed Patrick and held him up by his prison shirt.
"THERE IS NO FAIRY QUEEN!!! UNLESS...." I dropped him like a sack of flour.
Could it really be!!
"When I kill her, it will weaken or even kill Arlen. The doors will open to get to Fire Moon, those precious twins and my favorite blonde." I whispered.
"What the f**k are you talking about !?!" Patrick screamed at me.
"Silence you piece of s**t! You may get away with commands in your world but if you are with me, YOU WILL SHOW ME RESPECT OR I'LL BURN YOU TO THE GROUND!" I screamed in Patrick's face and smirked when I smelled p**s.
"This girlfriend of yours. Exactly who is she?"
"Her name is Brynlee Hunter but she may have changed it." He strangled out.
"What does this Brynlee look like?" I commanded.
"Red head, blue eyes, petite." Patrick answered.
This is going to be way too easy. But it means I need to keep this trashcan alive until I have his confirmation that the new Fairy Queen is indeed this man's ex-girlfriend.
"I will keep you alive for now. But don't p**s me off. You think the Starr brothers are bad? Watch this!" I dragged him outside and looked around at the landscape until finally, I saw a deer. A perfect way to demonstrate my gift to this human and show him who is boss.
"Watch this, Jenkins!!" I used my fire power to incinerate Bambi right to the bones. Patrick screamed in absolute horror and I could sense he was in desperate need of a change of clothes.
"It's just that easy for me to kill and to kill fast. So, play by my rules or end up like that f*****g deer! DO WE UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER!!" I shouted at Patrick as he trembled in fear at what I just did.
